“Stopped for lunch a couple weeks ago. It was our first time dining at the Grateful Gypsy Bistro. I had the fresh pasta with bolognese, Hubby had a burger. We both were beyond impressed. My Bolognese was delicious! Best I’ve ever had from a restaurant. Imo- better than the one at Pasta Moon! Hubby’s burger was equally delicious… Food was amazing! Portions were plentiful. We will definitely be back!“

“Between Jackson and Stockton on Highway 12/88 in Lockeford halfway between the two is the best place to stop and get a cup of coffee so Chelsea next time you're in the area coming up to visit and Jason wants a cup of coffee treat yourself and stop at Day-O espresso. It's better than that one that's on every street corner from Seattle I think and not as expensive.“

“I was getting gas in Lodi, the cashier overheard I was hangry as knew I was passing through Lockford and recommended. It was so delicious!!! We got the $50 full slab of ribs, baked beans, macaroni salad, 4 corn bread muffins. I’m ordered 1 extra baked beans and banana pudding all only $62 not bad !!!for delicious food“

“I took my brother and sister in law here for the first time in November 2025 they lived in Germany for several years and live in Iowa now anyway they love great German food which they thought they had the best German food in Des monies Iowa which is very good I was blessed to have eaten there but back to German Guys you guys totally changed their minds and both agreed that this was the best German food they have had since living in Germany the food was amazing and our waitress Vanessa was the best kind friendly and very helpful with food selections recommendations we came back a few more times before the went home I agreed with them that this is the best place to go to eat the best German food in the Central Valley also we meet the owners wife and she was just as friendly and kind spent time talking with my brother about living in Germany so 5+ stars ⭐️ please if you’re in the area and want the best German food stop in and give them a try won’t be disappointed“

“Every time we visit sizzler which is usually once to twice a month we always have a very good time enjoying our food and the service and our day when we're there we really love the menudo that they started serving not too long ago so we enjoy looking forward to that on Saturdays and Sundays and our server Ruben is usually our server when we come in we always look forward to seeing him and saying hello and he is always happy and professional. so overall our experience at Sizzler Stockton is excellent 👍😁“

“The Asada Street Tacos were decent. The salsa was okay, could’ve been better with more heat or atleast the option for more heat. The jalepeno was nice and spicy, but the radish seemed a little old.
The surprising bit of it all that made the meal was the marinated fried onions. They definitely made the tacos. The service was great and quick. Definitely would go back.“

“So tired of paying big bucks for food that tastes like cardboard. But California Al’s did not disappoint. Absolutely the best burger in Lodi❗️ Large portions, EXCELLENT flavor. Fresh handmade burger patty with all the trimmings. Great service as well, waitress was very attentive and personable. Saw people with huge breakfast platters as well, everything looked amazing. My new favorite place❣️“

“I love that almost all the great local wines are available in the bar. The ribs and pesto are my favorite, and have had that more than 100 times. I like the bar and old side. I absolutely hate the new open table area in the the back and refuse to sit there. They need to give that a little more character. It is too open and noisy with poor quality tables and chairs. They could make some large booths and maybe even a curtain around the booths to quiet it down.“

While other wineries in the area have events that require reservations and cost an arm and leg, peirano frequently holds pairing events with no charge but just reservations required. Check their website for these events,Good food, good wine and great camaraderie. What more do you need?“

“This place was phenomenal especially for the price big scoops of protein lots of options. The price had gone up and the scoops have gotten smaller. Rewards are hot and miss I have spent $70 and received one point but they don’t tel you that. Of you have multiple bowls to multiple transactions. Also I did a Instagram promotion and they changed their mind and I lost my reward 🙄. Staff is always late teens young adults mostly nice some are better than others. Still a solid place .“

“I had the bistro filet and my wife had the steak diane. both were cooked, seasoned, and plated beautifully. the service was excellent and we weren't rushed at all. this is an awesome hidden gem of Lodi. make the reservation, it's well worth it.“

“This place was so cute, the atmosphere and the people were old school. The food was amazing. And even the customers that were most likely regulars, were so sweet making chit chat with my son and complimenting him. The portions were huge and the food was reasonably priced.“
“This is another place you're made to feel like old friends. This is family owned and they welcome you with a genuine warmth. Denise (mom of the family) is your hostess and along with excellent wine usually has a home made treat to offer up. Its a place you immediately become friends with other patrons. I had the Cab...excellent ! And my gentleman had the Zin. P.S...NO small pours here! Check their schedule as they are not open everyday, but usually open at noon over the weekend. Highly Recommended!!“

“I can't believe it's been 2 years since I started ordering from Frosted Flour! I usually get at least 5 or 6 cakes every year for my kids' birthdays and other special occasions, and they are always a big hit! My sister even loved their cakes so much that she ordered one for her wedding. I truly can't recommend them enough—hands down the best cakes around!“

“Great place. First time there. Wife and I ordered: Bacon Cheese Burger and I ordered The Lockford ( sautéed onions and mushrooms) w/ Swiss cheese. Both meals came with large portions of fries- my wife asked hers to be extra crispy- and they were! Staff friendly and “Johnny on the spot”. Price was good. Stopping there each time we go to Lockford Sausage ( next door) or anytime going through town!!“
