“Chad is the Main Reason we all come to Nostra Vita winery!! I highly recommend this winery for private parties. Chad always makes us feel Welcomed! Love the Champagne variety here and the indoor or outdoor atmosphere here!! They now have Pizzas for purchase here!! You WON’T be disappointed!! Cheers 🍾🥂“
“Calivines is also on my list. Hannah and Jenna provide excellent customer service. The local and Bay Area wines are superb, and the olive oil and balsamic vinegars are second to none. They even have stickers!
Bringing gifts back to Texas for the peeps.“
“Fun and welcoming experience!“
“Best wine, great music, good people!“
“Great wines! Spectacular tasting rooms! Lovely folks! We are in our 80's and have more wine than we can possibly drink! We've dropped out of all the other wine clubs we been in, but we just can't let go of Berghold. They are the best!“
“This is another place you're made to feel like old friends. This is family owned and they welcome you with a genuine warmth. Denise (mom of the family) is your hostess and along with excellent wine usually has a home made treat to offer up. Its a place you immediately become friends with other patrons. I had the Cab...excellent ! And my gentleman had the Zin. P.S...NO small pours here! Check their schedule as they are not open everyday, but usually open at noon over the weekend. Highly Recommended!!“
“Lovely owner gracious and knowledgeable . I’ve been wine tasting for some years and she still taught me something new that I didn’t know. Good variety of wines and some that other area wineries don’t create.“
“What a great find this winery was! I visited the Lodi Wine & Visitor Center, and told them I was interested in old vine Zinfandels. When I told them I was looking for some old vines to get photos of, they recommended that I visit Lucas Winery, and they were so right! A beautiful location, lovely staff, and Zin Star Vines established in 1933.
I also loved the wall of different soils, and they had a great assortment to taste. Wineries like this are what will bring me back asap - great wines, great hospitality with lots to see and do.“
“A really nice winery for every day wines. Not too expensive, nice hostess, nice mid wines (Try the MossRoxx Vinn or Cab. ) beautiful sitting area outside or saunter up to bar. Special occasions too!🍷🥂🍾🍫 love the folklore pilot. ♡♡♡“
“Besides Napa Valley, d’Art wine possesses a certain red referred to as dog day, and it is the most delicious red wine, parallel to wine that I have had from France, that I have ever had. d’Art’s dog day is wonderful, especially chilled. The grounds are peaceful and beautiful and Helen, the owner, is a wonderful personality.“
“Matt and Evonne are some of my dearest friends. I have experience harvesting grapes with them back in 2001. They are hard workers true to family, friends and their community. Their winery is lovely, but it’s the service that brings people back.“
“My favorite place for a unique Friday night. I got to know them during Lodi wine and chocolate festival and came back for family night and adult night. They also do goat yoga, yet to experience for me. During family night you get to spend time cuddling baby goats and the night ends with milk and cookies 🍪 Adult night comes with small bites and wine tasting. It’s such a fun time, I keep coming back. See calendar on their website for the next events“
“Very relaxing atmosphere. We enjoyed the concert. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I was worried about using their porta potties but they had staff constantly cleaning them and restocking supplies. Their wine is delicious. They have good food trucks as well. Will be back!“
“We had a wonderful time at Pondl on Mother's Day. We had a chance to spend some quality time with the owner, David, who had some wonderful stories and kept us laughing. Pondl had some unique varietals as well as the more normal findings. The tastings are generous, 8...4 white & 4 red, and revisits of any offered. Their prices are reasonable. We will definitely be revisiting this new find. Love the little boutique wineries!“
“Delicious, quality wines, beautiful walking garden to enjoy the tastings in. Quality of wine was standout to other tastings in the area. Loved the petite Syrah and Albariño, bought both. Ainsley helped us, she was a pleasure, truly enjoyed the visit.“
“So great to work with. I needed a tank that was out of stock and they looked around to find me one at a shop in the bay area. Just really good customer service!“
“If you are visiting Lodi, you need to make sure that this is your first stop. I was familiar with some of the wines, but had no idea how many exceptional wines this region offered. Paul Marsh and Allison Champion were very gracious with their wine and knowledge, and they gave excellent suggestions on where to visit and which wines I would like. I can't wait to join their wine club - I bet there are going to be some fantastic offerings that I can't wait to try! Thank you for your hospitality -I can't wait to come back.“
“Always great services. Kid friendly and great slush wine.“
“Stopped in on a busy afternoon. Brennan greeted me warmly, told me to sit anywhere I liked, and took my order shortly thereafter.
If it’s your first time, be sure to do a tasting of their red wines or just grab a glass of the superb Old Ghost. Great wine, professional staff, and a convivial environment… I’ll definitely be coming back here.“
“Old world style elegant and nuanced wines in Lodi !! I did not know that till I met John and Lisa at Prie this weekend. They grow/source a number of European grape varietals like Dornfelder (Germany), Teroldego (Italy), Alicante Bouschet (Spain) besides the staples of Lodi area like Syrah, Barbera, Zin. What makes the wines very special is the philosophy of wine making - minimalist. The wines are not bold or jammy. They are subtle, balanced and complex.John and Lisa are also wonderful and kind human beings who care a lot about the world. I got to know them in a leisurely chat on a warm afternoon. The tasting area is a a calm soothing place, just to have such conversations with friends and family while sipping some vino.Highly recommend if you love old world style wines.“
“The Phantom of the Opera event was my first time at Harmony. The intention, beauty and creativity layered into to the art, wine and music made the whole night feel a bit magic. I felt like I’d been invited into the home of a family who’s created an incredibly beautiful life. I’m already excited for next month!“
“The Stonum family came into my life when I was a child, Francesca is a life long friend, I can speak from experience that this entire family is filled with quality people that produce a high quality product.“
“I love this family winery and their Rosé’s. To celebrate the autumn season, the 2024 Rosé paired perfectly with pumpkin gnocchi and mushroom ravioli, both in a butter sage sauce at home. I even enjoy sipping it alone.“
“Get the pairing’s with the flight“
“The service was slow at first for a tasting but we eventually had a host that spent time with us. You do have to pay for a tasting - $30. Instead of paying $60 for 2 tastings, he asked if we wanted to buy a bottle of the wine we liked for $50. That was a no brainer.“
“I had their Farm Breakfast. Outstanding! Fresh, delicious. A huge portion of country potatoes and scrambled eggs. 10-12 fresh orange slices, green and red bell peppers, whole wheat toast with soft butter and homemade strawberry jam!! One of two best breakfasts EVER for me at a restaurant. Truth. I will be back lots. Check it out.“
“Easy to get to place. Room to maneuver backing in the docks. Skillful loading42,000 + lbs were evenly distributed on the trailer floor. And lady at the Shipping office? She was very kind and polite. Enjoy the experience, comrades! P.s. no scales on site.“
“*Must make ressie online on website but worth and easy!* My favorite winery for vibes and good food as someone that doesn’t looove wine and still enjoys the ambiance, also dog friendly inside and outside :)
I come to Oak Farms every few months — its a beautiful property with both outdoor patio and indoor fireplace seating. Everything I order here is always delicious!
Service is always super friendly as well—Tracy was our server this time and she was so warm and knowledgeable about the menu. Gave good wine recs as well (as someone that is not too familiar it is nice to have someone explain!)
Recommend (food):
- Lodi Restaurant Week price fixe meal $35 (avail until Feb 1) had a delicious Pumpkin Soup w creme fraiche, Porchetta (pork belly) sandwich with chips, and brownie with this bomb salted caramel w ice cream
- Garden Sage Biscuit $8: Lovely light and warm biscuit cut open into two halves with homemade fluffy jalapeno cream cheese and orange marmalade (which is more like a light honey drizzle than a strong marmalade). Very shareable, but you might not want to.
- Warm Cookie Duo $8 — huuuge warm cookies you won’t regret, they change their flavors periodically
- Fresh Parpardelle w pork ragu $24: delicious fresh pasta with a delicious meaty sauce (note a bit small in portion so comebine with shareables if hungry)
- Short Rib Hash $27: Another delicious flavorful braised dish with egg and potatoes (note a bit small in portion so combine w shareables if hungry)
Can’t wait to come again!“

“Some of the best wines I have had...especially the RISK Merlot. Robert is a great educator/storyteller on all things wine which makes any tasting a fun and entertaining experience.“
