“We chose Babcock Winery after reviewing the website. Our visit was everything we hoped for - a relaxing, casual and informative wine tasting experience. Jason, friendly and knowledgeable, poured the wine while offering facts about the origin of the fruit and the wine makers approach for each wine in the flight. The winery has a large indoor area and comfortable seating. We opted for one of the outdoor shady patio spaces where we could sip and enjoy snacks from home. A bonus was the company of the black winery cat. Two favorites were selected for purchase before we left Babcock Winery, the 2023 Radical Pinot Noir and the 2023 Top Cream Chardonnay.“

We are club members not only because we enjoy Sanford Pinots but mainly because we are always treated so well by the entire staff when we visit. Donna is a great wine club manager while Kiana is the best every time we visit.“

“ME AND MY FAMILY GOT FOOD POISONING. My 2 year old daughter thankfully did not eat the food that night, but myself, my four year old, and my partner were throwing up all night. They denied a refund, horrible business. Gave them a try one other time before this and each time the customer service is half decent. If you try to call they either dont answer or they give horrible service on the phone as well.“

“It's kind of hard to find, don't try and get to it from El Pollo Loco. The food is authentically hot but they will ask you how you like it. We had 5 dishes plus appetizer and desert for $100 aftet tip. The only disappointment was the mango sticky rice, definitely have had better. I would go back in the future“

“Probably the single best (and healthiest) place to eat out in Lompoc. I dined here three times over the course of the week that I was there for work. I was able to sample their Seafood Pho, Yakisoba, and Seafood Udon. I also tried their spicy salmon roll. Every single dish I had was solid. While I was underwhelmed by the yakisoba, that was in no way a mark on the restaurant and more of personal taste. The other two dishes were absolutely delicious and I think it was more of a case of those being so good for my personal taste. Their sushi is slightly different but also quality. The service was excellent, especially on our last night where our service from our waiter was absolutely outstanding. It's just a shame I can't remember his name.“

“The last time I went my steak wasn’t tasty and on the tough side. Waste of money. My son said his meal was ok. It does have a nice ambience and all other times I have been satisfied.“

“I had the burrito loco and it was delicious. I loved the amount of meat and beans inside the tortilla and then on the outside they gave me guacamole and sour cream and Pico and lettuce. The burrito was actually covered with red sauce that was really good all in all it was an excellent value for the money and very filling and very delicious would highly recommend the food here.

Thought it couldn't get better but tried the burrito loco California style and the potato wedges in there and the steak were absolutely delicious would highly recommend it. Also they made a mistake with the menu and made the wrong item and gave it to us and they were very gracious and very nice.“

“Their soup is really special here. I especially enjoy their Albondigas. Caldo de Res was authentic as well. Whenever my friends are sick, I bring them takeout albondigas.

My fiancé had a whole fried fish which was nice and crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Their flan has a delicate texture. They often have a birria special which I look forward to trying. The atmosphere is welcoming with traditional decor!

Side-note: my friend has a fish allergy so is weary of seafood restaurants. The staff is accommodating and she’s never had a reaction here indicating that their kitchen is very clean and they don’t cross contaminate their dishes.“

“I’ve been going to the Budget Cafe in Lompoc for over 30 years and it cooks up the same delicious food every time I’ve been there. The waitress is one of the best you could ask for. The ambiance is old school and a welcome site for sore eyes. I hope to be coming here for a long time. BTW the food is cooked fast and the quality of the meals are done to your liking. The eggs and vegetables are farm fresh. You won’t go wrong stopping her for any of the many items on the menu.“
