“Please don’t misunderstand this review. The ranking of three for atmosphere is not a negative. This is not a place that is about atmosphere. It’s about great pizza. Been Valentino’s once before and I remembered it being quite delicious but I’ve been so long since I’ve been in this area I didn’t quite remember why I liked it. I put the order in online and the gentleman on the other side said it’ll be ready in 20 minutes Randy. I got there 20 minutes later it had just come out of the oven and was piping hot. This is where atmosphere comes in. Nothing fancy about this place and I would never stay there and eat my pizza. It’s in a busy strip mall like area on the corner of too busy streets. Again, that’s not a negative. It’s just where it is and a great location for them because they get a lot of traffic. It’s just not a place that you wanna sit and hang out and eat your pizza. Now, if your goal is to take that pizza and go to your kids house and have them say,” man this pizza is great. I love the crust on it and the sauce is delicious.” Then this is exactly the place you’re looking for. I agreed with their analysis. I like thin crust pizza, and it was done perfectly. Could not recommend it more highly and the price is very reasonable. Delicious pizza great service. What more do you want from a takeout pizza place?”

“I have to admit that my expectations were not high. Look, it's a base facility and I've been on a few over the years. But I ordered the plank steak, which was called something like, Special Forces something or other, and I'm sorry for not remembering. Anyway, the steak was really, really, thick and very flavorful. It was really tender too. I have to admit I was blown away. I honestly don't know about their consistency to serve it the same way all the time, but wow, it was really good and the price was also excellent. The only thing I wish they would of offered would of been a baked potato, because although you do get two sides, other than the veggies, I wasn't really sold on the others. Would I eat there again?...yes!”

“I have been to this spot several times. Both the food and the service are consistently good. Keep in mind, I have only ordered breakfast from here so I don't know how the rest of the menu is, but if it's anything like the breakfast quesadilla then you won't be disappointed.”

“I ordered the an acai bowl and it came overflowing with colorful toppings. The acai base was thick, smooth, and not overly sweet, clearly made from high-quality purée. It was topped generously with sliced strawberries, bananas, granola, coconut flakes, and a drizzle of honey. It was amazing.”

“What a great hidden gem in Los Alamitos! I ordered an Americana bagel on jalapeño bread, a hot tea and an iced vanilla chai, everything was delicious. Plus they have ice nugget machine which I prefer instead of the big ice chunks for iced drinks!
The iced vanilla chai was SO good, much much better than its big corporation competitors. I will definitely come again. Both girls behind the counter were very kind and patient and gave me the WiFi password and gave me recommendations. They really made you feel at ease. What a delight to visit, I would certainly recommend this cafe to anyone looking for good prices, good food and yummy drinks!”

“It’s pretty easy to see why this place has been in business for so long I obviously love coming to new places and trying new things, but today was a special treat rare is the occasion that I get to try bread right from the bakery that made it I stopped in at Pollys by accident but the first thing I noticed for the delicious pies and the clientele because not only is it a bakery but it’s a restaurant! they keep their menu pretty straight to the point but the flavor of the bread and the quality and the texture is just amazing I had to try the Ryebread with some of their home churn butter it reminded me of the stuff I used to see on TV when people actually made their butter… It was delicious the smooth creamy butter mixed in with the flavor of the Ryebread made the 599 a pansy almost like I was ripping them off the staff was very friendly and the store was very clean this looks like a wonderful place for an early dinner or an incredible breakfast but the next review is gonna be about the chocolate cream pie because I imagine that something that should be smoked in a pipe it’s so good!”
