“If you're visiting Sunnyvale and are looking for the dive bar vibe, this is your jam. Darts, old school console video games, pool, Golden Tee. Bartender was fantastic. Sandra worked Sat day and Sunday nights and she served us both days. Top notch service. We'll be back when we come back to town. PS no food but we were able to order food to be delivered and they have an authentic dumpling house next door if you get hungry. 😀“

“Yo, just hit up this spot the other day and gotta say, it was pretty solid. First off, the service was quick – like, I ordered on my phone and bam, food was ready before I even knew it. That's clutch.

They also got this cool little fish tank and some chill lighting that kinda sets a nice mood, you know? Not super fancy, but definitely adds to the vibe.

Now, the food itself was tasty, no doubt. Just a heads-up, it was maybe a tad on the salty side for my taste. And one other thing – they use bamboo skewers instead of the metal ones. Wasn't a big deal or anything, just something I noticed.

Overall though, I had a good experience. Quick, easy, and the place has a cool, laid-back feel. Would def check it out again.“

“Came here for a company dinner. Food, ambience and service were fantastic. Their proteins (meats, shrimp, and salmon) were perfectly seasoned and cooked. Loved the presentation of their “Golden Steak.” Their salad/appetizer bar had excellent selections including smoked salmon, honey smoked bacon (reminded me of OCK’s) and a charcuterie board with assorted cold cuts and cheese. This is now my favorite Churrascaria.“

It's the absolute opposite of many of the bars/restaurants just down the road. Those are nice too, but cannot keep up with the character at Pioneer...“

“We were weary travelers stopping by Scotty's in hope of a more chill vibe with some good food, and Scottys delivered! Our bartender, Sergio, was so friendly and fun! We got some inside knowledge about the town as we are from Oregon. The drinks were perfect and the food was top notch! I would have expected to pay a lot more for the quality of food and service we received at literally any of the surrounding places. We will visit Palo Alto again if only to go back to Scotty's as a new tradition! Thank you, Sergio, for making our anniversary dinner a great one! Someone give him a raise!“

“Aloft Sunnyvale on its own is good enough value for money spent. However, what truly stood out was the customer ser ice of its front desk. Shoutout to Michelle for helping me out a ton when I was trying to extend my stay. No excuses were made and she found a way to get it done even under difficult circumstances. Roy was also great with the room upgrade when he saw that I had brought a friend and might have needed a bigger bed. 10/10 Customer Service!“

“The hotel was well maintained, very cool inside, the rooms were great, the hotel is centrally located and easy to get around. The staff couldn’t do enough for me, they were very kind and courteous. They have a nice gym and a nicer outside pool area“

“It's a good old fashioned pub. Nothing fancy, just a nice comfortable place to have a drink and make a friend. There is a large outside area where you can smoke and have a drink, which is hard to find. It's my go to place after a hard days work. The service is the best !!“

“Had a wonderful, fresh breakfast and a nice dinner at the restaurant in The Westin in Palo Alto. The breakfast I chose was the bar which included eggs, bacon, potatoes, and French toast. Cereal, coffee, OJ, and toast was available as well a 8 varieties of fruit.For dinner, I started with the cheese plate and finished with the Soleil Burger with Gilroy fries. Long Islands were outstanding. The cheese plate was excellent and served with toast. The burger was cooked to perfection with bacon and cheddar.“

“An interesting place to stop for lunch if you’re at Moffet Field. And it has a dog friend patio. The bar was closed on the Wednesday we went, but the grill was open.
This was apparently the former Officers Club building and sits across from the looming Hangar One.
Both the patty melt and Philly cheesesteak were tasty.

The other wine bar said they were closed, had at least six individuals drinking full glasses of wine. Refused service unless I wanted to purchase a bottle of wine Togo. I left.... Found the bank.... Met my colleague.... Dropped some cash at a great bar that appreciates customers. Later had a great meal... Dropped more cash at Burger Bar next door. My fault for leaving Woodside that day!

For dinners, we even come for Saturday or Sunday Lunches.

The menu is large enough to choose something new every time. Although we have our favorites like the French dip that is amazing, the Ruben and the lamb burger is my absolute favorite. They have a good selection of cocktails at reasonable prices.“

Until, we talked, I stopped ordering from Terun on principle. I was a frequent client. Takeout customers must be honored for requests that are gladly honored when in the dining room. Takeout customers should be thanked for not causing dirty tablecloths and dishes -- and LOYALTY. Jessica reinstated that loyalty. I truly hope that the owners appreciate her. Without extra sauces the food is too dry. With it, delicious. The prices honor extra sauces and more!“
