“This is BY FAR one of my favorite sandwich spots in Los Angeles!

Everything about the sandwiches here is absolutely perfect - from the perfectly crunchy dutch bread, to the generous toppings and ingredients in each sandwich that is both filling and yet also not overpowering in any way.

It's an unassuming exterior for the most part - but within, the seating is ample for anyone wishing to dine-in.

I've also experienced nothing but the BEST service and friendliness on all of my visits to this establishment.

They have both hot & cold sandos, although my personal favorite remains their main staple - 'The Melrose'!
Delectably delicious with plenty of creaminess, flavor, and texture. Nothing overpowers other ingredients.

The bread, sosis bandari, and seasonings were probably some of the best combinations I've ever had, and it might genuinely be the best sandwich I've had in LA. “I stopped by Mike’s Deli in DTLA on my way to Union Station, and I’m glad I did! While the store itself isn’t flashy at all, they do produce some extremely good sandwiches.

The girl working at the counter was very friendly and welcoming. I ordered a Mike’s Deli #1, which is essentially a spicy version of a turkey avocado sandwich. The sandwich was super fresh and bursting with flavor.

Really, every aspect of this sandwich was memorable, and the meat-to-vegetable-to-bread ratio was on point. The bread was very fluffy and nice, too.

It’s an d-school, simple deli that doesn’t stand out cosmetically, but it’s clean, welcoming, and they pump out some top-tier deli sandwiches at reasonable prices.“

“Off-the-charts delicious. And that’s coming from someone who’s eaten pizza all over the world — including unforgettable Neapolitan pizza in Naples.

I ordered a slice of the “Green” pizza and the Caesar salad, which is hands down the best Caesar I’ve ever had. The pizza crust is incredibly flavorful with the perfect consistency, and the edge of the crust had just the right thickness with beautiful airy pockets. Absolute perfection.

The Caesar deserves its own shoutout: homemade croutons that were so good they could be a menu item on their own.

100% recommend. And to top it all off, as I was leaving, I got to meet Chris Bianco himself — what a treat!“

“I thought the pastrami and steak pizza sandwiches were great. The pastrami one was especially good and nicely coated in a garlic butter sauce.

The only issue I noticed was that the cooks did not consistently use gloves. A few times I observed them touching the pizza dough with their bare hands when taking it out of the oven, when they had to go orders, and when adding toppings. Please use gloves when handling food items, as this can help prevent foodborne illness. If you decide to eat here, just be aware of this.“

“Mendocino Farms is in a beautiful, easy to spot location right off the main road, and the space itself feels modern and welcoming. It’s a little on the pricier side, but the quality definitely makes up for it. I ordered takeout and was impressed that everything still tasted fresh and delicious by the time I got home. The menu has lots of lighter, healthier options, which I really appreciate. I tried the Peruvian steak sandwich and it was so flavorful and satisfying easily a new favorite. Great service and tasty food overall. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more!“

1st visit, i grabbed a Cold Sandwich, and the 2nd time I did the 5th Avenue Pastrami Sammie (Hot) 🥪, both were delicious!

And their Matcha making skills were quite impressive! 🍵
