“Exceptional service. At the start of our meal Michael asked everyone seated if we had any food allergies and then crafted all of our dishes around that. Every dish was presented with dedicated beauty and integrity to the food. Delicious food happens here 💖💖”
“Best food and service we have had since pre Covid!! Very refreshing experience!!! Will definitely come back!”
“Basque style tapas (pintxos) in a stylish little restaurant. What’s not to like? Stop in for a couple of small bites and a drink like a Spaniard would, or have dinner.”

“Impeccable service, striking a perfect balance of warmth, professionalism, and attentiveness.
The staff demonstrated an encyclopedic knowledge of the menu & wine list (thnx Sean)
The cuisine was nothing short of extraordinary. Every dish was a masterclass in flavor, texture, and presentation, showcasing the chef’s innovative touch & traditional experience.”
“Years ago I worked in downtown San Jose across the street from Sourdough Eatery. It has been a legend for decades, serving up warm crusty sourdough filled with delicious sandwich fixings. I have traveled near and far over the last nearly 50 years and have rarely found anything that rivals. Freshly Baked, across from St James Park downtown came on the scene just in time to meet my warm, sourdough cravings while I worked at SJSU. Now I find you, CRUST. Just down the hill and a few blocks from where I lived for 40 years, but alas... I have moved out of the area and discovered you while visiting. I'm here to tell all of you locals, THIS PLACE IS A GEM!! I walked right in today, placed my order and within minutes had in my hands an absolutely delicious warm crusty sourdough sandwich filled with lean pastrami, cheese and the rest that make a perfect sandwich!”
“This is the best restaurant. The food is insanely good and the service is superb. It is a hidden gem and if you can get a reservation you will not be disappointed. I highly recommend.”
“Great place for corporate events! Our team attended IBASV's bocce ball tournament last week and the food/atmosphere were great!”
“Good food. We ordered medium spicy but could have gone spicier. Lunch comes with Naan and Rice. Pakoras are included for lunch orders as appetizers. The Raita has sugar in it. They have interesting Vegan dishes such as Vegan butter Chick'n where the "Chicken" is made with soy strips.”

“We wanted to spend our Father's Day Brunch Shepherd & Sims, but a lot of the time we were searching for a server for our table. Not sure why, but the server took a long time to arrive at our table. We felt ignored. Finally someone in a suit (looked like the manager) stopped by to pour water into our water glasses, and said, "Let me get you a server." When the server arrived it took a long time for us to get our drinks. My father-in-law asked for some coffee. He had to get another server to get him the coffee, and when he did, it was cold, diluted, and it was obvious that it was the last 8oz from that coffee pot. The assigned server then got another pot of coffee and it was fine after that. We also had to ask twice that we wanted a side of mustard for my father-in-law's burger. It all ended up being okay, but we felt ignored for the most part. We love the food at Shepherd & Sims, but wish that the topic of conversation wasn't about the lukewarm service. Bummer.”
“Tasty brick oven pizza and fresh salads
This place was great! They have a big brick oven in the restaurant, and the pizza was really good. I usually like a super crispy crust, but theirs still tasted great. The arugula salad and shaved Brussels sprouts were fresh and light, really nice. The place is kid-friendly, which made it easy for the whole family to enjoy.”
“We’ve been to this places twice for wine tasting in the past but the bistro didn’t open at that time. So we went on Sunday for special Mother’s Day brunch and give it a try. My sister is their member so we can order five different entries from their set menu. We had Shakshuka , Benedict eggs, avocado and salmon with bread , duck fried rice and special charcuterie.
The taste of all dishes are amazing. The duck meat is very well seasoned so it is not gamey at all .Shakshuka tastes like the one we had in Jerusalem.
Nice and friendly service. We can’t wait to come back again for their regular meal.”
“The menu offered a great range of options and everything I tried was delicious! My table received great service and dishes were thoughtfully and beautifully plated! The Belfiore Burrata plate was so good we ordered another, my friend’s bone marrow toast was delicate and flavorful, the huevos rancheros tostada was awesome and had really good salsa, and the hot chocolate was perfect finishing off our brunch. The passion fruit-guava mimosa was also great! There was live music, plenty of seating and parking, and this is a beautiful location. Overall, a great experience! I’m excited to come back!”
“My family and I stopped by this restaurant on New Years Eve. They offered a special menu on this day. We ordered the Tomahawk Paella, Jamon Iberico and a few other Tapas (nothing special). My favorite was the Jamon Iberico.
The Tomahawk Paella was very underwhelming. The meat lacked flavor (I think they forgot to season it), but the rice was very good and flavorful.
Tomahawk Paella (~$150): 4/10
Jamon Iberico: 8/10
Bread Tapas: 6/10
Overall: 6/10
Service was fantastic. I might give this place another shot and try their normal menu.”

Takeout Restaurants
“I went with my friend for lunch and it was so delicious I took my family back two days later. Everybody loved what they ordered, and Aldo’s is going to be our go-to Italian restaurant. The atmosphere is great, and the prices are very reasonable. Everyone was friendly.”
“I stopped here this morning just to get some GF food. I have never been here before and heard about it from a coworker and wanted to try it.
The bakery is inside of the Polenteria restaurant (see pic for guidance to the entrance). The closest parking is the lot surrounding Victory Lane. I was able to find a spot when I arrived around 11 am Thursday even though it was fairly full.
I checked the restaurants menu when I got home and found out it had an 'entire gluten free Italian menu'. Now I have to go back for dinner sometime.
I got a 3 pack of Jalapeno bagels for $12, 2 large cookies at $5 each, and a brownie for $9. It was pricier than another GF bakery I had recently visited in another town.”
“My first time here was great. My partner ordered many beers and I had some good NA options. Service was super friendly.
Second visit, different worker and he couldn’t even make eye contact. Also wasn’t going to give me change and just kept it for a tip (my tip was 20% already). On the patio, a group sat next to me and opened packets of dried fish with the skins on. The smell was so bad, I had to move across the patio to the small bar on the other side.”
“Love the feel inside, food was awesome, staff was pleasant and knowledgeable. It was birthday and we had a gift certificate so we pigged on almost some of everything they had. Loved all of it. Hush puppies, meatballs and ribeye were solid. Dessert blew my fat head off. It was some sort of bread pudding with ice cream ! This is a nice treat and moderately priced for a nice night out in LG.”
“Great place overall. Very family friendly location with a good selection of food and drinks. Nice outside patio with a view facing the mountains. Absolutely love this spot for a cool and relaxing refreshment. The vibe is also super mellow here.”

“Didn't realize a Salt & Straw opened in LG!
Since I don't do dairy anymore, my favorite non-dairy option is the strawberry coconut...really tasty!
Kid scoop $5.25
Parking is super tough in the immediate parking lots.
I've been to this location a few times now...so just park wherever you see a spot first! I usually park across the street near the lululemon.
Great dessert option after eating telefaric!”
“Last evening had a real craving for a classic banana split. Drove to the nearby BR and was able to create my special ice cream sundae. The split banana was placed in the dish and I chose cherry jubilee, fresh peach, and chocolate fudge ice cream scoops. Pineapple, strawberry, and hot fudge toppings were added next. Finally, chopped nuts, whipped cream, and maraschino cherries were piled high on my creation. A sight to behold! I feared a sugar overload, but still I ate the whole thing! Yum! 😜🤪🤣🥴👍❤️❤️❤️”
“Erik’s Deli in Los Gatos is consistently outstanding. The food is always fresh, delicious, and satisfying, but what truly sets this place apart is the exceptional service. Rene, in particular, goes above and beyond to make customers feel welcome. She takes the time to learn and remember names, creating a warm, personalized experience that’s rare to find these days. With so many dining options around, it’s that kind of genuine customer service that keeps me coming back. Highly recommend!”
“Great Blue Bottle in Los Gatos is a gem for coffee enthusiasts. Their expertly crafted espresso, pour-overs, and signature drinks like the New Orleans Iced Coffee are always smooth and flavorful. The modern, inviting space makes it perfect for relaxing or working, and the passionate baristas ensure every cup is top-notch. Whether you're a coffee connoisseur or just love a great brew, this spot is a must-visit. Five stars!”
“The food was just as impressive as the atmosphere. The menu had a variety of options from juicy burgers and crispy wings to fresh salads and hearty sandwiches. I tried their signature wings, and they were perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of heat. The drinks menu was also diverse, offering everything from craft beers to creative cocktails, perfect for game-day celebrations!! The beers are colder here than Alaska.”
“I attended a Yelp Elite event at Mountain Mike's on Blossom Hill Rd. It turned out to be a fun family dinner on Thursday evening. The place was pretty busy, which is always a good sign. The vibe was casual and perfect for watching the NBA game while we dined.Nav was our point of contact. He was friendly and accommodating, making our experience all the more enjoyable. He handled our request for a half-and-half Mt. Veggiemore and cheese pizza, ensuring everyone got their favorite.Mt. Veggiemore was a veggie-packed delight and the cheese pizza a gooey, melty classic. We also enjoyed some sodas. Although the food took a bit to arrive, it was worth the wait. The kids were thrilled with the game machines, especially the car racing game, which was a hit with my son. Plus, the claw machine packed with plush toys and candies added an extra layer of fun. They also have a change machine which is very convenient.Parking:There's plenty of space in the back.Overall, Mountain Mike's provided a fabulous venue for a Yelp Elite event. It's a spot that's clearly more than just pizza; it's about the experience.”
“Been coming to Tea Garden for over a decade. It’s my go to Chinese in the neighborhood. Good portions good food at a reasonable price served hot n fresh faster than any drive-thru fast food place. Combo plates gotta be the deal of century $10 for three dishes in one to-go container. Family owned and zero frills. I’d suggest pick up take home or pick up and head to the park up the street.”

“This is my favorite spot for a sandwich and some coffee especially after a morning hike. My go-to recommendation is the Breakfast BLT. The bacon on it is mouthwatering delicious!! I’ve taken multiple friends and family here and they’ve all become fans too. If you’re already exploring Los Gatos, Purple Onion Café is absolutely worth the pit-stop.”
“The food is fabulous! We can get a regular burger or a veggie burger easily, and modifications are a snap! The only downside is at times parents let their kids be loud, which is very inconsiderate. We just make sure we're in a head space where we don't mind the noise.
Other than that, don't miss the best burger place in Los Gatos!”
“I absolutely love this ice cream shop! The ice cream is amazing and always high quality. The flavors are incredible and always fresh. The location is fantastic and very easy to access. Plus, the customer service is exceptional—so polite, friendly, and quick.
