“Despite accidentally making reservations online for the following evening, the gentleman behind the entry table found a way for my family of 4 to enjoy a top notch Korean BBQ dinner. We were so grateful! The food was excellent and service first rate. Highly recommended!!“

“The best quality Korean BBQ I've ever had! We had the butcher's pride 1 and it was the perfect amount of food for two people. It includes short ribs, finger meat, wagyu, and marinated short ribs. There are also numerous side dishes from kimchi to green onion jeon. You may also ask for rice if you'd like some to go with the marinaded short ribs.

With tax and tips, we ended up paying about $100 per person. Is it on the pricey end? Yes. Is it overpriced? Slightly. Is it a good food experience? It was. Would I come back again? Depends on who I'm with.“

“The best AYCE Korean bbq restaurant. Meat quality is top-notch. They grill the meat for you but still allow you to enjoy the food at your own speed. I tried almost every meat and my favorite is the marinated beef rib with bone. It melted in my mouth. I love it and will come back.👍🏻“

“For the quality, taste, price, and portions, you can’t find a lot of places better than Soowon Galbi. We got the Combo D (Unseasoned Prime Short Rib, Soowon Galbi, Prime Rib Eye Steak, Kkot Sal, Joo Mul Luk, Chadol, Bulgogi), which was filling even for 7 people! I usually don’t love non-marinated meats in KBBQ but tell me why the ones here were so tasty.

The servers were friendly and cooked the meats very nicely for us. I liked the Seafood Pancake, Galbitang, and complementary soups, though the Jap Chae was not my favorite. They were very generous with the rice, too.“

“Everything about this place is good....... Dogs are not welcome.,service animals too....
They said no dogs at 1st,then I stated she is service animal.

Then he grilled me on type of service she provides, we answered his demands,but still didn't want us to have the service animal.
We finally got to eat. But after about 30 minutes of waiting, then they stuck us in the back corner, but he clearly did not want the dog in the building.

So bring your service animals here. But be prepared for a verbal confrontation and questioning.“

“I was visiting the area and decided to check out the LBX Hangar. I was in the mood for something different and saw Marinate. I was told the bulgogi burrito is popular, so I tried it. And it was the best burrito I have ever had ... ever. The meat was so tender and flavorful. I love that it had vegetables so I could pretend it was healthy. I don't live in the area but every time I am in Long Beach, I plan to stop by.“

The torched salmon was a little overcooked, so it was a little fishy, but overall they were very good. Bulgogi and King Yubu were overall favorites.“

“Been meaning to hit this place, but always pass them up. Glad I stopped by, they got some good eats here. Tried the Vamipro with bistec and potato. Nice and crispy hand made tortilla. Potatos were healthy cut pieces and soft. Also had the Guisado sampler and man they are not shy with the servings. I definitely recommend the sampler plate if you are wanting to try the different options of guisados. For this location early is better as they do sell out of items on the early side. They also have restaurant where you can get there goods as well.“

“The vibe is amazing. High energy for sure. Great place to come and have a conversation or be loud with your friends. The meat quality is amazing. Everything is fresh never Frozen. The kimchi the sauce, the soup, the salad, the meat, literally everything is just top tier. “My favorite Korean barbecue in Los Angeles. All the side dishes are fantastic and there is so much variety you can tell they really thought it through! The meat quality is also fantastic. Their marinated galbi is my favorite beef in the world. If all of that is not enough, it is also the only Korean barbecue place that cares enough about the customers that they have a ventilated stove so you don’t smell like Korean barbecue walking out of this restaurant it’s amazing.“

We really appreciated it since we previously came from a way more spacious outdoor restaurant that gave us horrible service due to us having babies with us. “This place is absolutely amazing I came with my mom and her friend they are a bit on the older side. Jenny made sure to give us a table with good airflow and ac. She was always attentive. Brought us everything we were about to ask for before we even needed to ask. Changed out the grill set up the meat. She took her time to cut meet right off the bone it took a while. I told her it’s ok this is a lot of work. She said this is the best part and it’s completely fine. She was absolutely right. I couldn’t recommend this place enough.“
