“So you have to keep in mind that there are no other pho restaurants in the Lynwood area- that being said the pho broth is actually pretty solid even if compared to most of the spots where Vietnamese restaurants are densely populated like Garden Grove etc but if you realize that this is the only one for miles then the solitary factor becomes magnified. They have many other options which the menu bifurcates into other Asian cuisine options which didn’t seem all too bad either. Don’t get it twisted though- it seems pho is their bread and butter.“

“Not gonna lie... this Vietnamese cafe serving up pho as well as some other small and special dishes came up on my radar because I saw some fellow Yelpers go to an event here. The food looked/ sounded amazing and it's not too far from where I'm working at the moment. The service here is friendly and the decor /vibe feels and looks like a modern Vietnamese restaurant or cafe. I was really tempted to order the pho here, but opted for the butterfly pea sticky rice (or Xoi Thap Cam) instead. From the pictures, the dish looked beautiful and it's something I haven't had at Vietnamese restaurants in a long time. Also, I think I've had pho a few times around that time...(it's been cold) I also ordered the Bluegrass Lemonade to wash it down. The sticky rice dish had lots of delicious flavors and textures from all the different items. Such a fun dish that's presented very well and a delicious alternative to what probably gets ordered most here (the pho). Don't get me wrong, I definitely want to come back to try their pho as well, but was so happy to try the dish that I ordered. Place is located in a tiny lot/strip mall that was pretty close to a freeway. They have their own parking, but it might get tight. I think there may be street parking close by.“

“This is everything a Vietnamese sandwich shop should be. #1 or #3, iced coffee, a produce box on top of a milk crate for seating, and soap operas on the tele. It's a food stall. “This is truly a gem of a hole in the wall!! Almost literally, and I say that with respect and appreciation. This cute little eatery is easy to miss, being tucked in a very small strip mall (if it even qualifies as that!) between a small pharmacy and a laundromat, just south of the Arco on the corner of PCH and Pacific. But once you have eaten here, boy oh boy is it hard to forget!I come here about once every other week when I'm on a regular work schedule. Became hooked immediately with their unique bahn mi sandwiches and their pate chaud. Now I'm completely obsessed with their plant-based shrimp spring rolls and their grilled pork bun bowl. That bowl is the perfect balance of light and filling, flavorful and refreshing. It is one of my lunch go-to options. And the plant-based shrimp rolls are AMAZING. Obviously I'm not vegan, but this is an item that I enjoy so much despite it all.I have yet to try their pho. Maybe one of these days. They do have seating inside, but no restroom. There's no where else you need to go. The fresh bread is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. When you order, you can choose from the football shape or the baguette shaped bread. “The Pho is enough for 2 people and it's delicious! We have had both the chicken and the Wagu beef. Also, the rice plates with fried rice and either Wagu beef or spicy pork is really good. “I got the level 7 K#1 soup, which wasn't too spicy. For a spicy meal I would ask for a higher number. I also got a Thai tea that was very refreshing and not too sweet, and a vietnamese coffee with coconut milk that was very rich in coffee flavor and sweet. My father ordered the level 7 ramen stir fried and said it was very good, not very spicy. We shared a level 7 and a level 10 BBQ wing. The 7 was barely spicy but very good, 10 had an oil on it that coats your mouth and was quite spicy, but the heat went away within 15mins. All the food was delicious!“

Found it looking for Bo Luc Lac in the LA area and found it via Instagram review than made me want to drive all the way from Long Beach and I was not disappointed, as they serve one of the better Luc Lac, tender and well balanced on sauce and pepper. “Spacious pho restaurant in a little KTown plaza. Conveniently located right next to a bus stop. Valet parking in the lot, but you should be able to self park/street park. The takeout and ordering in experience is very fast, and staff is nice. They have the menu under a glass cover on every table, at every seat. I felt pho was better than average, but not the best I've had. I got the pho with meatballs, and the meatballs came quartered. I didn't enjoy the texture of the meatballs and it's possible they could have been frozen, which was regretful because I feel like a proper, handrolled meatball can really make a bowl of pho go to the next level. Good amount of noodles and the broth was also good. We also got the vermicelli and grilled pork, which was flavorful. Dish came with pho broth and a spicy/sour dipping sauce. I'll probably opt for a vermicelli/rice plate next time I come here. Overall, prices are very fair for LA. A bowl of pho will run you $12 here, and a combination pho (with varied meats like their brisket, tripe, meatball etc.) is just above $13. Hits the spot for pho, but not mindblowing to me.
