My friend and I ordered the chicken parm special (available Monday and Tuesday), the fennel salad - which I always find refreshing, and the butternut squash pasta dish - Everything was so flavorful. Another great dish that we didn't order last night is their pizza and their stone fruit burrata salad. It's always a great night at Love and Salt.“

“Our flight from LAX all of a sudden was delayed for 5 hours past its original departure time. Instead of becoming sitting lumps we wanted to go to the beach and grab a quick dinner. And the Strand didn't disappoint at all. As we watched the Cali Sunset from our seats the Fall vibes were in the drinks, apps, and THE branzino is one of the BEST we,ve had! And those rolls whew! Very tasty. It's the perfect distance of quality beach & food. And we made it back to LAX just in time for our delayed flight.“

“I’ve had breakfast the last two mornings at the restaurant and experienced the most amazing service. The food was yummy (breakfast burrito) and honestly really good coffee. The hostess Claudia was a consummate professional and I was so impressed that she remembered my name and my preferred table from the day before. My waiter Antonio was the same, incredible service, remembered every single specific thing about my order, including my allergies and preference for sweetener. When you travel a lot you know bad , good and outstanding service and both Claudia and Antonio were beyond outstanding. I recommend the restaurant/hotel clone them immediately … no joke.“

“Overall a nice stay: friendly staff, nice updated facilities, free ♿️ valet👌-3 to 4 blocks from beach. Very expensive at $500 per night, used the 2 $10 free tickets at bar for 2 drinks and still owed $8.36. This was the host hotel and stayed 2 nights Fri/Sat July 22-23, 2022, with hamburger & soup in room, total $1100. T.“

“It was such a lovely venture out for my Mom’s birthday, on Friday. Alex and Dominique (management) are quite lovely, and helped make our dining experience all the more, a joy! Love the new additions to the menu, particularly the Mini Steak French Dips. The Chicken Parmesan was excellent with the twist of those ‘pepper-like sweet’ tomatoes. “My boyfriend and I live close by. We usually walk down to the pier, but found this place. We have yet to be disappointed. The wings, chili, stuffed jalapeños, steak sandwich, burger, etc. are all delicious! (We don’t choose healthy here lol) The bartenders are attentive and friendly, and we’re not there enough to be regulars, but I definitely notice some of the same people every time we are there. Highly recommend this “homey” bar in a not so “homey” town. I used to bartend and this place makes me miss it! 🍻“

“During my stay at the Belamar Hotel, I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant on the second floor. Before I checked in, I needed a place to work remotely, and the staff went above and beyond to help me connect to the Wi-Fi. They were incredibly attentive, making sure my coffee cup was always full. I ordered waffles and eggs—both were delicious, though I only managed to snap a photo of the waffles! A unique touch was the check, which is presented inside a book where guests are encouraged to leave a note. Overall, it’s a charming spot for both work and a great meal.“
