“Celebrated my birthday dinner with my bf, our moms, and his sister. I live up north, Bay Area, so wanted a local-ish spot where I could bring the family together. First off, let's talk about so the service: the host was SUPER kind and sat us at a table that was more accessible for the older ladies. The ambience is lively so please don't come and expect a quiet meal. Our server was VERY attentive and took care of us throughout our meal. We brought a bottle of wine, the corkage fee is super reasonable, and then ordered a bottle for the table before the meals arrived. I ordered the pork chop and it came with potatoes (the potatoes tasted like the ones my dad would make me as a kid (insert happy tear emoji)). We had such a great time and were well taken care of, which is hard to experience in this hustle and bustle era. Every single staff member was genuinely kind and I will recommend Love & Salt to my friends.“

So we have been here two times. Both times were great. Nacho was our server both times as well, and he is a total mensch. 👌 (hey! You recognized us from our first visit a couple months ago and we are the couple from Hawthorne! You might need to go in my personal server hall of fame.)

You won't be left unattended. Went the bottomless drink route and are worried that you won't get your monies worth? Stop. This is a great beach town, and this purveyor of delicious decadent food is not going to cheap out on that either.

All the food is made with love. And you CAN taste it. I wish we knew the names of the cooks in the back, but they are unsung heroes in my book.

“Overall a nice stay: friendly staff, nice updated facilities, free ♿️ valet👌-3 to 4 blocks from beach. Very expensive at $500 per night, used the 2 $10 free tickets at bar for 2 drinks and still owed $8.36. This was the host hotel and stayed 2 nights Fri/Sat July 22-23, 2022, with hamburger & soup in room, total $1100. T.“

“It was such a lovely venture out for my Mom’s birthday, on Friday. Alex and Dominique (management) are quite lovely, and helped make our dining experience all the more, a joy! Love the new additions to the menu, particularly the Mini Steak French Dips. The Chicken Parmesan was excellent with the twist of those ‘pepper-like sweet’ tomatoes. Before I checked in, I needed a place to work remotely, and the staff went above and beyond to help me connect to the Wi-Fi. They were incredibly attentive, making sure my coffee cup was always full. I ordered waffles and eggs—both were delicious, though I only managed to snap a photo of the waffles! A unique touch was the check, which is presented inside a book where guests are encouraged to leave a note. Overall, it’s a charming spot for both work and a great meal.“
