“Penguin’s is the best frozen yogurt in world! Love their toppings also. My favorite was raspberries and snow caps. I miss living in up the street just so I could come have a treat. Thankful it’s still open can’t wait to bring my kids to come by and taste it.“

“Pinkberry drop in and it has been a bit since I have had Pinkberry. This was a rekindling moment. Pinkberry yogurt is made with real nonfat milk and yogurt with fresh fruit toppings that are hand-cut daily. Let's jump right into this review.

This location is in Marina Del Rey inside a bustling shopping center. A few shops and plenty of food options.

Things to know -

** Single swirl or side-by-swirls offered. **

1. Variety of flavor options, which but the OG Sweet/Tart & Pomegranate is always available. Different Seasons bring different flavors. Currently- Summer Melon Crush is available! During my visit we tried Blueberry Lavender and it was really good!!!

2. Variety of toppings offered.

3. Light and low calories if you don't add all the sweet toppings.

4. Reasonable prices.

5. They offer ice bags for yogurt you are taking to-go. I really like this because your yogurt stays cold on the way home.

6. Excellent customer service.

7. Dining in, go right ahead. A few tables and chairs inside. Cute decor. You want some vitamin D, dine outside, location has plenty of outdoor seating in the shopping center.

During peak hours this shopping center is full of folks and cars. Parking can be a challenge. Just something to note.

“They say it used to exist in Korea, but is now almost gone. The ice cream is mixed once on a cold stone plate and then served. There are two flavors to choose from in the large size, and you can mix them or serve them separately. Chocolate was better than vanilla.“

“These people are incredible and the Gelato is better than 99% of the Gelato I had in Italy. They opened during Covid and SURVIVED if that tells you anything. Both of them are wonderful humans and the Gelato is extraordinary. Plus they saved dogs from food markets overseas. Doesn't get much better. Please check them out.“

“Beyond amazing. Patient and kind staff as well. It’s hard to eat regular ice cream (even if it’s vegan) after tasting how incredible fruit ice cream is here bc it’s a MUCH healthier option. I tried the honey lavender and coffee and love nuts, it was phenomenal highly recommend please try do not judge. “I am usually not the type to write a review, but the service that Sebastian provided was top tier. Sebastian allowed us to sample some products and provided some creative suggestions when it came to combination like a peanut butter and jelly like option when it came to gelato. He was extremely patient with me as I made chose a flavor or gelato to take home and even promoted the points system when imputing our phone number before purchasing it. His service alone is 5 stars alone and the products that were sold were extremely delicious as well, I am looking forward to trying more flavors and running into him again for more suggestions he comes across of.“

“One of my favourite gelato store in LA, I came back a lot of times and it’s been my 10th time or so back here, I love their rich gelato taste and would definitely recommend you to go visit here, they have a wide range of flavors you can choose, for example you have 14 types of chocolate gelato you can choose, so you can have a bit more fun choosing what you want, really recommend it! The people working there are also very nice and friendly and they provide tables and chairs for you to sit inside or outside.“

I was not able to get the young man’s name but I have this picture here that he let me take. This young man was so warm and hospitable towards everyone who walked in the store. He was very patient with me and all my sampling requests which was probably annoying because I came at a busy time, but his positive attitude never wavered. His smile lit up my day and made my ice cream taste even sweeter than it already was! I loved my experience with that young man so much that I might only get ice cream from salt in straw from now on!
