“I really enjoy a beautifully cooked piece of salmon, which is not easy to come by. Quite often when I order seafood out at a restaurant it is overcooked. I can guarantee when I go to Roxx on Main. My salmon is perfection. Moist tender and juicy like it should be. I do enjoy her menu, which is very versatile.“

“I was hungry and decided to give this place a try. They did not disappoint. I ordered the heart attack omelet with hash browns and I left full. It took the waitress using both hands to bring me a plate, keep that in mind when you order. The portions are generous but not excessive, and the food is excellent. It's so good I even got an order of biscuits and gravy to go. Between the omelet with hash browns, the biscuits and gravy, and 3 glasses of tea my bill was less than $40. If you're ever in Martinez and want a good breakfast or lunch you can't go wrong with this place. The staff is on point, the food is worth writing home about, and the atmosphere will give you a good pat on the back.“

Take it from me: Lucia’s is a rare gem. Five stars. Terrific bread, thinly sliced meats and cheese, fresh produce, homemade spread: they had it all.

And LOTS of it. I knew as soon as I picked up the bag: huge, loaded sandwich. I couldn’t get my mouth wide enough to get the whole thing at once. Then, I could only eat half. I brought the other half home and my wife could only eat half of that half. I enjoyed the rest the next day.

I should’ve taken a picture but was too busy devouring the thing. I will definitely be back, and I will remember to take a picture then. It’s as good an excuse as any for a return visit. See you there.“

“In the location of the former Nico's and if you're a long-term resident around here Chester cafe, the breakfast joint everyone here used to come to, Walnut tavern has totally beautified the inside, and while I was only able to get a drink because of time constraints their "Old Cuban" (basically a mojito with spiced rum), was excellent, and the people working there we're friendly and the place has an overall goodbye. I'll review it some more when I have time to have a full meal there. But I can already recommend the bar. Great drinks.“
