“Food, wine, service and vibes were exceptional! We made resys for a wine night and the outdoor seating was cozy, with a heated lamp keeping us warm. Our server was sweet and helped us sample some wines - we chose an orange wine and sparkling wine which both paired perfectly with the food.
For food, highly rec the mentaiko spaghetti, fries with yuzu aoili, chicken wings, and citrus salad! Dessert is a must - loveee the hojicha tres leches and black sesame rice krispy.
Portions are small, but perf for sharing with friends and wine selection is lovely.“

“Was super happy with our dinner at Hippo. Every dish was delicious. The brussel sprouts and cauliflower starters had excellent flavors. All the pastas we tried had incredible depth of flavor without being overly heavy or greasy. The hippo rolls and table focaccia were excellent and the chicken thighs were to die for. Only thing that was lackluster was the passion fruit gelato. Fun vibe, lots of seating, and great service!“
“I’ve never had a bad time here. Even though it’s a place that’s mostly people going with friends, I’ve never felt unwelcome going by myself. The workers are nice and the drinks are made strong and cold the way they should be. It’s a chill vibe. They don’t do stuff like karaoke, so if you want a party kinda place this wouldn’t be ideal, but if you enjoy a more relaxed atmosphere, then it’s perfect.“

“Stopped in for some cocktails and enjoyed the experience. Vibe is moody and cool, yet casual. I modified one of the cocktails despite some resistance from the server, but it turned out great. Hard to go wrong with bread and butter but that was delicious as well.“

“Great spot with a ton going on - I love what they’ve done with the place since taking over junkyard dog. The food and ambiance are great, they even have a pool tables on the patio. The bartender Peter was knowledgeable and friendly. 10/10 will definitely comeback for karaoke night! Thank you Peter and Drugstore Cowboy for a great place to grab a drink or play some pool!
Vegetarian options: The vegan chili is great for tacos or with the nachos!“

“Great qualities of meat selection and a bunch of other types of excellent qualities of food. Definitely a place to go to celebrate and for special occasions. The beef, especially the galbi, the shrimp, takoyaki, and everything is fantastic. We can grab most of the food and the premium food came out very fast. Will definitely come back.“
“Great analog music and excellent drinks. The bartenders and dj's are top shelf.“

“The waitress was very professional and explained the menu in a great way. Try it out! You won't regret it.
My only negative (which didn't really affect the food) was that I wanted it more spicy. I understand most people don't like high levels of spice so I am not holding that against them.“

“Breakfast menu from 9am to 1pm!
However, there will be no coffee after 13:00 :((
I couldn't get a second drink because it was just before 1pm. However, it was a restaurant where you could relax and relax before the game at Dodger Stadium (^^)“

“Haven't been here for a couple of years, as the last time we didn't enjoy the company of rats. They didn't even offer to buy in. This last time we went to a different area and the brunch was great. Truly like the croissant style cinnamon rolls and breve. We also had both types of benedicts and they were great.“

“Amazing food. Plate licking sauces, organic, locally sourced food. Korean fusion. Did I mention organic pickled everything. Enzyme rich food. Beyond healthy. Humble little hope in the wall run by a husband and wife team. Dude went to Korea to study with the most famous vegan nun chef in Korea. A must go to for anyone who loves food and especially loves fusion with organic and very well priced. He should charge Much more but they don’t.“

“The staff were so helpful and nice. I ordered sweet potato tacos on corn tortillas. Came out on flour. Kitchen was closed but the cook came back on to work to fix them and gave us complimentary guacamole and hummus. Everything was so tasty!! We will definitely come back again for food and drinks. Karaoke room inside bar too -so fun! Great vibes.“

“This place is always packed, even on weeknights. It’s a testament to the beverages and service. Drinks menu rotates so there’s always something new and interesting to try. You can also always get a classic cocktail as well. Beer and wine are also served here. There is a regular food menu with larger portions from opening until about 9 or 10 pm when they switch to their late-night menu which consists of small plates to pick at. Theres plenty of heat lamps outside for when it’s cold you can still sit comfortably during the winter.“

“I love the atmosphere at this place. The seating can fill up quickly depending on the day and I find the music is loud. My favorite place to sit is the stools on the outside that have a lovely view to the liveliness inside. Great spot for friends, dates or even alone!“

“My experience at NikuX was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff was remarkably kind. Kevin, who was in charge of our table, provided attentive and courteous service, and his recommendation of the Miso Chilean Seabass was even better than Nobu’s. Each dish was fresh and made with evident care.
I was particularly impressed by how Kevin and the floor manager consistently checked in on our meal throughout the dining experience. Their willingness to listen to even minor feedback was something I had not encountered in any other buffet, which left a lasting impression.
It was a rare opportunity to enjoy a satisfying luxury buffet in LA. Personally, I found NikuX to be a more valuable dining experience than the buffet at Cafe S in H Hotel, in terms of quality, pricing, and service.
Thank you.“

“it was a blast time in here. food was great, vibe was on point, service was very nice. honestly I didn't expect their food that good since the picture of their foods and interior looks too good to be true on the picture ( I'm kind of picky person, don't trust anything until i see it in person) but my experience was amazing in here. best of best. will go back soon !!“

“Thoroughly enjoyed Far Bar’s happy hour, which runs from 3-7pm Monday to Friday, and all day Monday. Best value play is the Burger Special ($13), which includes fries and a Sapporo or soda.Wings are also excellent. Will try their shrimp tacos next! Service is awesome and the vibes are casual yet with a classy decor (especially outside). Love this historic spot!“

“We found ourselves starting off date night at Alma’s, ✨the only cider bar in Los Angeles AND with the biggest cider menu in the US and quite possibly the world✨ With so many delectable drinks in sight, we landed on a sour cider (me) and a Pilsner (him). Charcuterie Boards also are magically made right in front of you by the bartender, further giving off the Brooklyn vibe that’s fitting of the neighborhood?
Featured Graze Board: Big Plate (three cheeses, three meats, market pickles, corn nuts, bub & grandma’s sourdough bread)“

“I was told to review for a free Thai Iced Tea: Good atmosphere, the decor and lighting is beautiful! Good service, I went on a busy Friday night so it took a little longer to get the server's attention but they were soooo nice when they attended me. Not the best Thai food I've had, although I'm not a good guide for identifying Thai food authenticity. That said, the Pad Thai was not pleasing to my palette. Personally, it was too salty.
I do like that they their happy hour ends at 8pm on a Friday night, which is pretty late compared to other restaurants, and they are open late as well. Pad Thai -$17 + $4 to add chicken“

“It’s a chill place with medium sound levels, not loud enough to hurt, but loud enough to fill the space. It’s got a great seating arrangement with tables, booths, bar, patio, and outdoor seating.
On the menu is food (if you come early enough), great craft beers that are fresh with clean tap lines, wine, seltzers, and N/A options. Some of the beers can be a little on the flatter side (just a bit). The service is prompt and polite.
It’s good for groups of all sizes (I would call ahead just in case it’s busy) and solo people as solo patrons do visit also so you won’t feel too weird, although most are in groups“
“Johnny's strikes the perfect balance of being an old school dive bar you know and love and an elevated cocktail lounge with DJs spinning an eclectic mix of tunes depending on the night. Fast service, delicious drinks and a jukebox to play when the DJ takes off? What's not to love? ???“

“The sour beer was delicious. I love the 80s feel to the bar and the fact they have old school video games. Go Ms. Paxman. The food was decent too. Service was pretty decent, they could have come around a little more to check on our drinks, but that's sor of nit picking. Overall, would definitely return in my 80s attire.“
“✨Drink like a Whale and Eat a Volcano at Sulgorae in Norwalk, California✨We came to @sulgorae.sojubar for their refreshing Whole Watermelon Soju, which consists of fresh watermelon juice (the perfect summer flavor), Soju, and Sprite to sweeten and fizz up your cocktail.
What we didn’t expect was to be blown away by their variety of food options, from fried bar bites to comforting entrees and everywhere in between. Their KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) was served hot (temperature) from the kitchen with the skin in perfect crispiness and meat so juicy.
But the real star of the meal was their Volcano Beef Stirfry- you know it’s the dish to get when you see it served to every table! Be warned: the spice level is no joke here. We ordered with a level 1 out of 4 spice and that was perfect amount for me (and I can handle ??)
We had: ?Whole Watermelon Soju, ?Soy Garlic Chicken Wings & Fries, ?Volcano Beef Stirfry“
