“Stopped by omw back from Disneyland, and let me just say I’m glad I did. I needed a break from driving and needed a pick me up. This place has reasonable prices the roll I had was the kiss of fire. Everything was fresh, ginger on the side I could appreciate because I’ve had some that’s tasted cross contaminated. I definitely will be coming back to this location when I visit LA again.“

“We stopped after driving 5 hours. We asked for our large order to go and the server informed us that it would be 15-20 minutes to prepare our food. She offered for us to go ahead and sit and wait. While we were waiting, she brought over waters for everyone and then chips and salsa. Each of our orders included a bag of tortilla chips and cups of salsa. The food was so good that my husband consumed his meal in minutes. The portions were large and so tasty. If we are ever driving through again we will go out of our way to stop and enjoy a meal.“

“I don't eat this type of food, but I ate some spring rolls. As you can see by the photos everything looked stunning according to my coworkers standards and everyone else was happy.
Be good if they had some more hot cooked dishes , and preferably not ones with just white rice. I don't eat white rice either.“

The food was amazing! I felt like I was eating in a costal town and our server was great! I wish I could have gotten his name. He had a muscular build, Hispanic and his customer service is second to none.
At one point, I ordered an iced tea and it tasted stale. I'm not sure if it was the water or the type of tea that they brew, but when I asked for an horchata instead, our server graciously took it back and brought out my new drink and kept coming back for refills.
I ordered the shrimp and steak platter. Which came with a side salad, (on the plate) rice, beans and a mild pico de gallo with fresh veggies in it. The green salsa was just finely diced up jalapeños and it was the perfect amount of spice for the dish.
I also loved the atmosphere as there was a man with a guitar and a man with an accordion playing music Español.
This place seems like it would be a great place for a 1st date, a family dinner or just a stop in the Central Valley for some amazing seafood.

“The food is so good, by the time I remembered to take a picture it was gone! This has to be in the top 3 in all of Kern County. It’s so good, it’s I drive here from Bako good. Fresh, tasty and hot. Friendly service and decent prices considering how much you get. Highly recommended you give this place a try, you won’t regret it.“

“My husband and I stop here to pick up a breakfast burrito every time we’re headed to work on one of our rentals. The food is amazing, the ladies are very friendly and if you call in your order the wait time is quick.We love coming back every time.“

“Salsa and chips brought out while you wait but without the whole restaurant experience and waiting. Clean place , easy in and out. Chicken and shredded beef flautas are great, would recommend. Asada fries were mediocre simply because I like my meat crispy and this meat had good seasoning but not much crisp. Beer was available. Overall I would eat here again.“

“I do not recommend Jenny's Cafe. went with my mom and dad. we all ordered and my parents got their food. I did not receive any food Even though I ordered. we decided to leave with me not getting my order. then they tried to charge my order when nothing was brought out to me. service is slow, no refill on my drink or chips. I would post a picture of my food, or say if it was good or not, but I never got any food.“

“When did my favorite pizza double in price?! I'm from out of town so I did not know they had increased their prices so significantly. I only get to come to Tony's whenever I visit my family in the area. I used to eat here as a kid when my parents would bring us to stay with our grandma for the summer so i love tonys pizza. I remember before taxes an extra large 4 topping pizza started at $22.50. The other day i paid $120 for 3 xl pizzas, 1 pepperoni and 2 4 topping pizzas. I know it's 2024 but man that's just crazy to me. The customer service was fine the pizza was nostalgic. I just don't know how affordable tonys is going to be for me for my future visits.“
