“We love the Sweet Spot! Doing laundry is pleasant in the safe and open atmosphere. It’s nice to pop in a load of laundry and in the same place (!!!) grab a bagel or fresh baked good in the ice cream parlor and sit outside while your wash gets done.“

“What a night! On vacation in Eureka, we asked a local at the dog park for a dining recommendation. Our server was Jake, and he performed quite well. Old Town Eureka was prepped for the Christmas walk, parking was free, and it was unseasonably warm.
Polenta crostini.
Arancini stuffed with butternut squash risotto.
Brussels sprouts.
Wood-fired hen with fingerling potatoes.
Grilled steelhead with lobster risotto.
Chocolate torte with s’mores topping.

“The view is great in the summer, but not in winter, when sunset is 5 pm. \n\nIt was chilly inside (not unusual for Humboldt County restaurants).\n\nThe food quality was good, the portions were HUGE.\n\nThe wait staff seemed stretched thin, but overall they worked hard to get everyone taken care of.\n\nThe wine selection is surprisingly limited, only one or 2 options for any given wine type. The night we were there, they were totally out of chardonnay.\n\nOverall, we had a nice meal there.“

“Good food that comes in large portions though takes a little bit to get to the table. Great service, I have been multiple times and have gotten a variety of waitresses and all have been very kind and patient. Nice atmosphere, and is very clean, bathrooms look nice. Typically a bit crowded especially at dinner times.“

“The service and food were both excellent this evening! I was especially looking forward to a good ribeye steak, unfortunately due to a shipment mixup there were no ribeye. However, they upgraded my dinner to a mouth-watering filet at no charge. Needless to say, I was not disappointed! We also got the rack of lamb and the table-side ceaser salad. Everything was excellent, and I can't wait to come here again!“

“Beautiful newly renovated hotel. Easy check in, great service and very clean. Traveling as a single woman I felt safe and comfortable. The team is amazing and helpful. The casino has a good variety of restaurants and every restaurant I ate at was very good, reasonably priced with big portions.“

“I attended Moonstone Grill as part of a wedding party. I was actually photographing the wedding, but the couple invited myself and my officiant/husband to join. The food was surprisingly good and the views were amazing. The staff was very accommodating for our larger party and even held and served the cake the couple cut at the end of the wedding celebration. I would definitely recommend this spot for groups both big and small!“

“Love us some Pub at the Creamery. It’s a regular spot for our weekly date night. We each get a pizza, share the house salad and get a couple of their creative cocktails. My favorite vegetarian pizza is the Greek. The husband likes the classic pizza. My favorite thing about the house salad are the roasted garbanzo beans. Their cocktails are delicious and their ice is huge and clear just like we like em! You can also get the food to go which we did last night. The hostess called when the food was ready so I could pick it up hot and fresh. So great customer service too. 👌🏻“
