“We LOVED every aspect of our lunch at Destino’s. The food was as delicious as it was beautiful and the owner was so accommodating to both our dog and toddler on their patio. The patio and inside of the restaurant were both decorated with such warm charm and coziness. The owner even took extra time to reccomend local activities for us to do with our toddler. I would highly recommend this resturant for anyone looking for a yummy family outing.”

Once we were loaded and ready to go, she offered up a great place to eat about 5 minutes away called H&W Family Drive-In where her sister works as a cook. We took her up on the offer because we were starving and hadn't had lunch. I enjoyed one of the best burgers that I have ever had. It was not on their menu but was recommended by Lulu at Miranda's Furniture. The Yeyi Burger!! Jalapeños, Bacon, Avocado and more! It was amazing!! Awesome customer service! Friendly employees. Heartfelt thanks to the restaurant owner and Jot!

Today I contacted this restaurant all the way from India to place an order for my friend in Atwater, USA. A person named Jot answered my call, and when I told her that I wanted to surprise my friend on his birthday, as he might visit to buy Kolkata Dum Biryani, she immediately understood my request and even spoke to the owner about how I could make the payment.

She was so friendly, cheerful, and kind throughout the conversation. What touched me the most was that, even after I insisted on paying, they refused to take the payment and instead gifted the food parcel to my friend on my behalf!

Such genuinely good-hearted people and wonderful service are so rare to find. I’ve never visited this restaurant personally, but I’ve heard from my friend that their Indian dishes are absolutely delicious.

“Ordered some sandwiches for lunch, when we went to pay the lady behind the counter noticed I put no tip. I called in the sandwiches. I drove there and I picked them up. They had to do absolutely nothing extra except for their job and then wanted a tip on the end of it. Tips are for when you go above and beyond not when you’re doing the bare minimum for a pick up phone order. Good sandwich, but probably won’t be back”

“It's a small hole in the wall restaurant, inside seating only, I had their combination chow mein and it was a heaping box to go to feed at least three to four people. Loved it! I've been there before and I keep coming back. I did notice people, coming and going, either they ordered the food to go or just purchased and waited 15 to 20 minutes or less. Mine was ready in 15 minutes and so worth it. Go get you some if you are in the area of Merced.”

We got the pick 3 combination plate, kids lunch and two drinks. We spent about $60 with tip for two adults and a 4 year old. Food was flavorful and the tamale was my favorite of all. Some of the items felt like they just heated it up from the microwave besides that im happy we gave it a try. Food was great and the service was good too. I wished the chips are made fresh but the hot salsa was spot on.”

“So my first time coming and this is what I experienced the over all atmosphere is chill. I didnt stay the whole night ,from when we got there til we left it was a nice vibe to reset for the coming week. The bartenders were both nice however the older gentleman's drinks are perfect and the lady bartender kind of charged me alot I felt for my drinks I got a patron margarita and she charged me $17 Ive never even payed that in the bay area so I thought it was a bit much my other drink was a watermelon amf and she only put two liquors in it which I also thought was strange but I guess everyone makes it differently or they are not allowed to use more than two liquors in one drink anyways she charged me 12 something for that one. Her drinks were good however the gentlemans were spot on maybe from his experience. “I hardly leave reviews but I definitely wanted to make sure that the employees were recognized for thier hard work. 1st the pizza was perfect it tasted amazing and the wings were perfectly crispy. 2nd the service was top notch. Aran didn't just take our order and drop off the food. He checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed and more. 3rd we had a large group with several kids and they never once made us feel like a bother. Made sure we had high chairs and sippy cups. 10/10 would eat here again and again.”
