“While not an expert I grew up in Detroit eating gyros as often as hamburgers. Hands down the best gyro I have had in ages. Warm soft pita, crisp fresh veggies, great house made sauce and really tasty gyro meat. And always friendly service from the owner. Small seating area so may need to plan to do take out versus eat in.”

“Imagine Subway, but with good bread and real meat. Great sandwichs. Tuna sub is awesome. People were super nice. A couple of small outdoor tables to sit at. Try to come when Tam is not at lunch as it can get busy then.”

“We were checked in and seated quickly, orders taken smoothly and we didn’t have to wait long for anything although they seemed pretty busy. Food was REALLY good, I got the buttermilk pancakes with chicken apple sausage and Sunnyside eggs and my husband got the bulgogi Benny, everything was cooked to perfection super delicious can’t wait to come here again!”

“My daughter had to pee. lol We were on our way to Muir Woods when I saw this donut shop. I ordered some donuts as we waited for the fam to go to the restroom. The young man behind the counter was kind and helpful. The donuts were sooooo good. They were fresh. The quality was exceptional. They are a more artisan version of Lamar’s. They have more variety of donuts than many shops. They even had gluten free and vegan choices. We had regular cake and risen donuts. . I lament that Bob’s isn’t found in our state. We will be returning to this area and we will be back to Bob’s. So happy that my daughter had to pee. 😂”

“I visited MV Baking Company after seeing great reviews and being in the area. The display featured a variety of tempting baked goods. I particularly enjoyed the lemon kouign amann, beignets filled with raspberry jam, cinnamon roll, pear croissant, and spinach and cheese croissant. I plan to try more items on my next visit. Although it's a small place, the quality of the baked goods reflects the baker's passion. If you intend to visit, it's best to go early; I arrived at 10 am on a Saturday and found many items are almost sold out.”

“Swirl is scrumptious and so refreshing on hot days. The flavors are yummy. My favorite is watermelon. It is smooth and tasty! I love it!” 😅 The new ownership has lowered the prices and also maintained a clean environment. The staff are all friendly local students which creates a familiar atmosphere, letting you enjoy delicious rotating ice cream and fro yo flavors.”

However, I ordered delicious food and enjoyed it when I got home.
I was grateful that the friendly staff told me about nearby parks where I could eat and explained things well.
There is also a parking lot, so park comfortably.”

“The pizza, drinks, and service here are fantastic. I love the large outdoor setting. That said, if you're looking for a chill vibe, it's pretty loud and chaotic on weekends due to lots of kids being kids.”

“This food is good. I wasn’t expecting it to be that good for some reason but I’m impressed. We had the veggie egg rolls (2 1/2), there was a funny spice added in there that wasn’t familiar nor was it necessary. Green onion pancakes (4.5) Long donut (4/5) it was so fresh, hot and crispy. Sweet chili wings (4), got happy when I seen the jalapeños but there was no kick at all, they were like a basic teriyaki. General tso chicken (4) no kick to them like normal general. Beef & broc (4) shrimp fried rice (4.5). The lady in front gets a little flustered and I thought she had an attitude with me but once the food came out, she gave us a free soda each and a free Long Donut. Def would return!”

“We had friends coming to visit from Arizona and wanted to take them somewhere special for dinner. We heard about the newly reopened Paseo in Mill Valley and decided to try it. We were welcomed by the friendly manager Kevin as we entered. After giving us a tour we were seated in the main dining room by a cozy fireplace. We ordered cocktails along with a charcuterie board and roasted Brussels sprouts. At the recommendation of our knowledgeable waiter Will, my sister and I ordered the beet salad. One of our guests had the Market Green Salad and another raved about her Potato Leek Soup. Wanting to try different entrees we ordered California Halibut, Braised Osso Busco, Mary's Chicken Breast, Rib Eye Steak, and Roasted Duck Breast with orange glaze. The taste and presentation exceeded our expectations. As we were enjoying coffee along with Chocolate Indulgence, a (layered torte) and a Peanut Crunch Bar, Chef Branden approached our table to see how we enjoyed our meal. We all told him how much we enjoyed the food, his beautiful presentation, and the smiling staff. We had a great five star experience and will definitely be back!”

“I get dozens of bagels from New York Bagels in Strawberry Village every Saturday with my kids; it’s become our weekend ritual. The bagels are fresh, chewy, and come in tons of flavors. We love the friendly, speedy service and the option to buy by the dozen. A top spot for bagel lovers in the area!”

“This is by far our favorite sushi delivery in Marin. The fish is fresh and the cuts of nigiri and sashimi are thick and tasty. The rolls are great too. We also love the miso soup.”

“Not sure about others' experiences, but ours was great. We ordered 3 pizzas for pickup on Memorial Day Saturday. All three were wonderful. The crust on all 3 was perfect. The Mill Valley had a good amount of sausage and other toppings. The Pesto Deluxe tasted great with the artichoke hearts. The BBQ Chicken was notably good. It wasn't the goopy BBQ sauce-covered pizza others make. The chicken was cooked well without being dried out. The BBQ sauce was applied with a light touch. Perfect gem of a place!”

“The red curry was Amazing! I got the curry with vegetables and tofu. It had just enough spice to enhance the flavors instead of overpowering them- not too spicy and very delicious. My friend and I both loved our dishes. I’m curious about the other dishes but I’d honestly go back to get the exact same one again because it was so good. I’ve thought of it several times since I’ve eaten there, which means it was quite literally a memorable experience! I’m definitely coming back and recommending to more friends! There is indoor and outdoor seating- we chose to sit outside because it was a nice sunny day.”

“A staple Mill Valley place to visit. Seems very popular on the daily with locals and visitors alike. I’m not a big coffee-drinker but I’ve been several times and can attest to the great atmosphere and pretty good food/drink options. Food options include sandwiches, pastries, and sweet/savory waffles. Indoor and outdoor seating available. However, because it’s so busy, if you sit down to the left of the entrance (opposite side from the counter where orders are placed), it’ll be hard to hear your order called. At least my experience has been this way where I’m waiting a while for my order to be called, finally get tired of waiting, walk over to check in with staff, only to find that my order is sitting on the counter but I never heard it called.

I got the veggie frittata sandwich and enjoyed it but generally, the food is a bit pricey for the portion size in my opinion. The drink I got was fairly good I think but honestly, not very memorable/standout because I don’t really remember it.”

“I love Piatti's in San Diego so I was excited to try Piatti's in Milly Valley (such a beautiful town btw). The restaurant is so so beautiful! Wasn't a fan of the pasta I ordered but my boyfriend really enjoyed his pizza. Definitely a nice place to have lunch at, would love to go again and try something different!”

If you’re looking for actual sushi, this is a step below Sushi Ran for example but also a bit less pricey but more personal as its so intimate - you're looking at the chef and you know he knows what he's doing.

They seem to be working on a cute outdoor seating arrangement, that’s a work in process. Will be nice in the warmer months.

I’m looking forward to going back and trying an omakase experience. They are clearly capable. I’m told it requires making a reservation. Get that in Mill Valley!
