“My favorite spot in the Bay Area for brunch and coffee! owners are super nice, and go the extra mile to make sure you have a great experience every time you walk in to their shop. In addition to the beautiful location, prices are convenient. They also offer healthy choices such as gluten free bread, and use quality ingredients. Highly recommend and will definitely be back !“

“Authentic New Orleans muffulettas. Abita root beer and Zapp's potato chips. There's also an amazing ice cream cookie sandwich large enough to share (or not). So anxious to eat, I forgot to snap a picture. A must...for a true foodie. Owner has a wonderful Southern attitude.“

“10 out of 10. Highly recommend no matter whether you’re just grabbing something quick to go or you wanna dine-in for a bit (like I did). Service was great and the sandwich was even better. I just randomly stopped in for the first time and the guy at the counter was very patient and didn’t rush me to order. Even suggested their best seller.
The sandwich itself was very meaty and the bread was perfect. Better than Subway, Jersey Mikes, Firehouse, etc. Gave a three star for atmosphere because well… there is no atmosphere. You go in, you get your sandwich, and if you want to eat in… there may or may not be a seat for you. Simple, in my opinion.“

“What a surprisingly sweet lunch spot. The food was fantastic and the owner was really friendly and easy to talk to. I had the daily soup and the homemade meatballs - both excellent! Lots of fun signs on the walls too. Don’t let the tvs inside deter you. The owner is more than happy to change the channels (especially for your kiddos) or the mute them.“

“The place is very good, as it has very good sandwiches and friendly service. We had the sourdough and the out, nothing to criticize. The sandwiches where finished fast and the service was quick and friendly. When you are hungry, just go to Freddie's, it's the best of the best, even though it's really inconspicuous. 10/10 would definitely recommend.
Vegetarian options: There is a selection of vegetarian sandwiches, wich are all very tasty.“

“4-grain loaf was fresh, hearty, sourdough-y, and flavorful. Cinnamon roll was flaky and buttery. Both things I tried felt homemade with care. I’m definitely coming back for the other bread offerings, including the pizzas!“

“Cute cafe + retro arcade. Their breakfast meat empanada was generous filled with bacon, egg, and cheese and was served warm with salsa on the side. Paired with a solid cappuccino and enjoyed at the tables outside, this made for a great weekend breakfast bite. They also have books for children and retro arcade games including mortal kombat and paperboy“

“Definitely a 5 stars for me! One of the best breakfast sandwiches we’ve had 👏😋 Loved the pork&turkey sausage in bagel and bacon cheese croissant. Mocha and caramel macchiato were mmm mmm mmm. The vendor was really friendly and accommodating. She suggested for a croissant bread for my mom so it will be easier to eat(softer). Thank you ma’am 😊
Too bad we weren’t able to visit again coz it’s a bit far from our hotel. This is a highly recommended hidden gem (literally) near cable car turnover powell. You have to go down to locate it.“

“Loved this place! It's got a vintage farm vibe and it's so cute. You order at the counter and they bring your food to your table. We got there when they had just opened at 11 am so plenty of seating. I got the Fattoush sald, my hubby got the Spicy tuna sald and my daughter got the burrata grilled cheese. The salads were huge and so god and fresh. I was only able to eat half of it. My daughter ate all her sandwich which was rhe perfect size and she really liked the pesto and burratta on a soft roll. My husband ate his salad and it was super filling. We will definitely be back fir their fresh food.“

“A good bahn mi is hard to find in the Sunset, in my opinion. My regular spots have changed and just don't taste as good.
The menu not only bahn mi’s for meat and non-meat eaters as well as rice bowls too. And if you need something to wash it all down with, get yourself a boba and/or fruit tea.
Since this was my first visit, I ordered the 5-spiced chicken and the bulgogi beef. Generous portions of meat served in a fresh roll. Overall delicious sandwiches and I have return a couple of time.
It is a small store front, so standing room inside is limited and there are a couple of stools for inside seating, while waiting for your sandwich. The owner/staff is very friendly.
Support your local business and check it out!“

“I remember going to this place many years ago and thought of it again today when I was passing by. Great, simple, well balanced sandwiches. I recommend toasting your bread if you don’t like hot sandwiches but want a soft yummy bread. The staff who own the place are so nice and accommodating. Plenty of snacks to go with your sandwich. Definitely a good stop for a good sandwich that won’t disappoint.“

“5/5 Stars - Fantastic Find! Amazing cafe with incredible sandwiches! The bread was always fresh, and the fillings were generous and delicious. But what really stood out was the excellent service. “I know you don’t come here for the coffee but…they sell Ritual coffee at the usual $5 price point you would expect at a rumors coffee shop, but it’s just the coffee grinds brewed in a coffee pot. Honestly, it tasted gas station coffee, not what you would expect for a cup of Ritual coffee, and especially at that price point
I’m sure the food is good, but skip the coffee. I am a very sad coffee drinker right now 😂“

“We were looking for a breakfast place with options that were tasty and reasonably priced. Working Girls was just down the street from our hotel and we made the lucky decision to go here. A nice selection of breakfast items and a lunch menu that was so tempting we came back to pick up lunch for our road trip home. The staff were very friendly and even included a free cookie because we came back. Seems like it a popular place with the local workforce. Menu has some nice healthy options.“

“This is a good lunch spot for FiDi. Sandwiches are $12.50-$14. Salads are $10-$11. Prices on their website are outdated. My sandwich , the LLB special $12.50 was roast beef, turkey, ham, swiss, provolone on dutch crunch, was alright. The New England Clam Chowder $8.50 was chunky and not filled all the way up. That tasted OK as well. Friendly service for a counter style restaurant. Kitchen was fast taking account they were busy. I was pretty full afterwards.“

“I came here on a Friday afternoon and got the pork belly banh mi. It was so good… definitely top 10 sandwiches I’ve ever had. Pork belly was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, bread was nice, and the pickled vegetables were perfect. Owners were also really friendly and only took a couple minutes max to make the sandwich. The space is small, and seating is limited though“

“Looks like a a tall , green , corn chip dipped into a red salsa sauce. It does not have the grace of Flatiron in NY; and hence it relies on reputation of hosting a restaurant, Cafe Zoetrope, frequented by the great film director Coppola ; it’s a building that lives on the fame of another person. It’s a side show but at least it’s not an eye sore.“

“We got the veggie banh mi and the chicken banh mi! Both were so soooo good!! For the folks on here saying it’s “tasteless”.. you know you can ask them to add extra of whatever it is that you want??? ? sounds like y’all didn’t know how to order.. ? sounds like user error ?

“A “Must Stop” for lunch! The best sourdough bread I’ve ever had. Wanted to go back and just order a bunch of bread to take home and spoil the family. The perfect crispy crust and then soft chew center with lots of wonderful savory sourness. I had the Ham & Pastrami. Perfect fresh ingredients. Everything you want in a deli sandwich at a reasonable price. Lots of selections so I’m heading back for future yummy bites. Excellent personal service.“

“The BEST sandwich spot in SF. Not only are the sandwiches HUGE and delicious, but the owner is one of a kind. I felt like I was part of the family. All minorities should support this spot. Not whitewashed, not a chain, a real, brown small business. Watched the owner help our homeless neighbors in real time- this business really does support the community however they can. We will be coming back again for sure. Thank you, The Sandwich Place, we WILL be coming back. 100000/10. Not sure how this place isn’t viral yet.“

“The staff at this Subway are awesome. I came in at 9:30pm to order 17 six-inch subs for a student field trip, not realizing the store closed at 10pm (online it said it was open until 1am). Adrienne the girl at the counter was soooo nice to agree to make all the sandwiches, which ended up making her clock out late. She saved the day! The field trip with the kids was a hit and they loved their sandwiches. After I left I realized I accidentally left my credit card in the card reader (tired teacher). Alex F the morning guy kept my card safe for pick up after I got off work. You just don't find kind, honest, and hardworking people like Adrienne and Alex that often anymore.I believe the manager's name is Mr. Sunil. If you read this Sunil, you have two superstar employees working for you! I hope they get some recognition and promotions. They were just wonderful.I highly recommend this Subway to anyone who loves great service, kind people, and delicious food.“
“I was bragging up the Pastrami sandwich I had yesterday to my pal Cy Anara while we were down at the Loopers Pavilion checking on things that used to be, and he tells me phisha... That's a good place if you want okay pastrami, but if you want great pastrami you gotta go to The Pastrami Bar! They serve the best in the city!
So, I went. The pastrami was deliciously tender and juicyer than your best friend's sister. 5 ☆☆☆☆☆“

“This is our favorite sandwich shop in Mill Valley and frankly one of our favorite sandwich shops we’ve encountered even while living in SF for nearly 10 years. Sandwiches are a dime a dozen but the best sandwiches have the right bread, right amount of moisture vs dryness, high quality deli meat, and that certain set of ingredients that you’re not quite sure why it’s so much better than other sandwiches with the same ingredients. That is ABSOLUTELY Antone’s East Coast Sub Shop!! My husband and I go almost every weekend, it’s such a treat for us. I’m actually getting hungry for it as I write this review 😅
Also, the owners are the sweetest people ever who clearly love their shop and the community. I was running late to their shop before closing hours and they sweetly left my sandwich out front for me with my name on it bc they knew I was going to arrive after they closed up shop. I also saw a bunch of cars try to get a sandwich but were too late after hours, so clearly this is a local favorite!“
