“Fantastic little poke spot in Milpitas. Friendliest owners I've ever met, and the toppings are fresh and delicious. You start by picking your base: sushi rice, brown rice, or greens, then add your proteins with variety such was spicy salmon, tuna, shrimp, tilapia, tuna salad, tofu, etc. You can choose a spice level, and additional toppings such as edamame, corn, seaweed salad (so good), macaroni salad, crab, etc. I love to add spicy mayo and yuzu ponzo, plus eel sauce. Do not pass this place up!“

“I have a gluten allergy but staff are very nice that explained to me which has gluten or not.
I ordered beef negitan, rice without yakitori souse and salad with lime dressing!
The Karaage are not gluten free but this is for my husband:)
Very clean inside and bathroom.
So delicious 😋. Thank you very much!!“

“Rating: 3.7/5 [dine in]
My family and I came here for Sunday lunch and were seated right away. Service was fine, but we felt the flavors were lacking, and the noodles were overpriced for what we got.
Yuzu Shio Ramen ($17): The broth was way too salty, so my mom had to add extra broth to dilute it. It also only came with one piece of tofu, which really didn't feel worth the price.
Tokyo Classic Aburasoba ($17): The sauce coated the noodles well and grew on me the more I ate. I love thick egg noodles, so this was right up my alley, and the bamboo had great flavor. The portion was much larger than the Yuzu Shio, and I even had leftovers. My only complaint was that it came with just one slice of meat. While I did enjoy it, I couldn't help but compare it to Menya Hanabi in LA, which still has the best mazesoba I've had.
Niku Spicy Ramen ($20): My brother ordered this one, which was actually my second choice.“

“What a great surprise! We didn’t get a chance to take pictures of the food, but not needed. Great place, fantastic service. We really enjoyed ordering through the in-store QR code. Everything we tried was delicious, nicely served. The customer service was great beginning to end. We will come back for sure!“
“I'm surprised this place was not busy at all when we came for birthday lunch on Saturday. We did make reservation through Yelp but should've been OK even without one because only ~20% was occupied. The waiter took our order right away and food came super quick. We ordered all of their special rolls by accident but thankfully each rolls were perfect size with not too much rice so we manage to finish them but few rolls definitely feel redundant so will pay closer attention next time. They now up the sashimi allowance to 1 order of 5 pieces per person (only 1 kind of fish per order tho). I recommend getting the sashimi salad, salmon carpaccio, pepper tuna, pepper albacore for your fix of salmon, tuna, hamachi/albacore and get other fish type for your sashimi allowance. I highly recommend getting hamachi kama, Saba, tonkatsu and soft shell crabs. The takoyaki was too much dough. Was very disappointed they didn't have the mochi ice cream but their lychee ice cream (more like sorbet) is very good. Love it much more than matcha ice cream. Sesame balls are also freshly made with perfect bite size. I couldn't find anything about birthday treat but was surprised they gave free cheesecake and even play happy birthday song throughout the whole restaurants. They were also not rushing us when 90min was over. Highly recommend this place to satisfy your sushi craving!“

“In my opinion, the price is extremely good for the quality of meat you get. I feel that Meat Time fills this niche for yakiniku so well in the bay area that I can easily recommend any of my friends to try it.
I had previously written a critical review of Meat Time on an operationally difficult day, and posted it before the check came and a significant discount was given to us in light of the difficulty. I think this review was unfair considering my overall experiences with my friends here over the past year or so. It was not my intention to solicit a refund or otherwise.“

“The food was delicious, chicken was tender and rice was well cooked but the veggies it tasted like a day old or might be overcooked. Still we liked the food and ate it all. The price was higher than usual, it’s okay because it’s California wages higher. The main star was Carlos, the one who was giving samples. Oh my, he was giving sample to each and everyone and no matter you been there twice. He was enthusiastic and friendly. The cashier was pleasant but did not suggest anything , the one who served the food you know the one who prepared well he did not say anything. Service was fast and efficient. Will come back for Carlos and probably well prepared food next time.“
“The self-service barbecue was a great experience with fresh ingredients and a fun atmosphere. The food was delicious and easy to prepare. Special thanks to the servers **Rico** and **Doony**—they were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help, which made the whole experience even better.“

“A neighborhood favorite in Milpitas! The fish quality is amazing, not far off from what I’ve experienced at high end sushi restaurants. At $14-$18 per roll, you’re looking at some incredible value. No, it’s not authentic Japanese sushi, but I still think it’s delicious. Always coming back for their Mizuno and Dragon rolls!“
