Pricing wise they are indeed a bit high but is all similar shops like this so still would recommend.“

“I recently tried Mala Town 麻辣烫, and it was a fantastic experience. The best part is being able to customize your own bowl — you pick exactly what ingredients you want, from fresh vegetables and tofu to different meats and noodles. Everything tasted very fresh and the variety of options was great.

The broth was rich, aromatic, and perfectly spicy. It had that authentic Sichuan-style mala flavor — numbing, fragrant, and deeply satisfying. You can also adjust the spice level, which makes it great whether you prefer mild or extra spicy.

The staff were friendly and the service was quick. The restaurant was clean and well organized, making the whole experience very comfortable. It’s a great spot if you’re craving authentic Chinese comfort food.

“Since opening, it has gone down hill a little as one would expect as the owner/manager isn’t on site. The amount of meat has lessened, price overall is quite high (-$19) for a sandwich and a can soda. I justified the higher price for what initially offered but has creeped up for less product. At least they’ll serve you a pickle if you request it. I guess it’s one one way to economize by not automatically giving a pickle. However at their 1st location I was put-off by having to fish for a pickle that is handled by customers and that not hygienic.

This place is almost hidden in plain sight, tucked right behind the McDonald’s everyone in Milpitas knows. It’s one of those true “if you know, you know” spots that locals swear by.

My girlfriend and I have been coming here for a while now, and the reason we keep coming back is simple: quality. Every dish that comes out of the kitchen is consistently fresh, flavorful, and made with care.

The portions are on the smaller side, but honestly, they’re perfect for two people, just enough to leave you satisfied without feeling stuffed.
The Galbi is beautifully marinated and grilled to perfection with that irresistible sweet and savory balance and a hint of char.
The Seafood Tofu Soup is our favorite, clean, rich, and full of depth. It’s easily one of the best versions around.

“When I heard about a boba shop with the word “Studio”, the black background setting came into my mind until I entered inside which is all yellowish inside. There wasn’t really much seating inside but it’s quite different because of how they’re shaped. Not much decorations though besides the action figures they displayed and they do have kiosks, but the issue is that they tend to wobble back and forth whenever I touch the screen. Also the screen faces at 90 degrees instead of facing slightly upward. So it’s hard for me to navigate through the menu especially when I’m taller.

However, I do like the boba here though. I didn’t get their signature boba but instead got the regular Ceylon Milk Tea because I’m not really a big fan of adding toppings and that it can take up too many calories. Maybe I can try it next time, but I think it’s Ceylon Milk Tea with toppings I’m probably not familiar with.“

“This was my second time going to this Starbucks, It appears I will be going there more often. I was there Saturday Dec 14th and Teddy took my order, and was a pleasure to speak with. When I picked up my order Melody helped me out. She was so attentive,
so polite, and addressed me with sir so many times. Everything I asked for she acted as if it was her pleasure to serve me. I was so impressed with her. “I cannot recommend Caffino enough. I grew up near this stand and the new owners (2020ish) have done wonders to revive this stand. They repainted the stand and gave it a facelift and man it made a world of a difference. The coffee selection is immaculate and the pastries are delicious and always seem fresh. Not to mention the workers make you feel like family. They always welcome you with a warm smile, pay attention to your entire order, and never skip a beat. It is always my first stop when I come home to visit and will remain that way!!

Here overall I won't say it's great but it's not that bad.

Meats are definitely a bit fatty in a bad way but broth and serving size for the price was pretty good.

For a mall Pho shop it's not the worst thing you could pick.“

“Potato Corner is unbeatable when it comes to flavored fries! They offer five standout options—Sour Cream & Onion, Chili BBQ, Regular BBQ, and more—but Chili BBQ is hands-down my favorite. The wait can be 10–15 minutes or longer, but the crispy, bold flavors make it totally worth it. Highly recommend for a snack that hits the spot!“

“The taste is very good, it is the kind of chewy thin rice noodles. I highly recommend the fat intestines, snails and lion noodles. The fat intestines are very tasty and the soup is great. The two chili sauces on the condiment table are very spicy and fragrant. I prefer the one with watercress.
The lightning protection is that the beef taste is very light. Although it is very tender, there is no beef flavor. The hygienic conditions are also average, but at least it will not cause stomach discomfort.“
