So I don’t understand how did other reviewer saying get sick from this store. “A very hidden gem in San Jose. I never would have known this was here. Quiet atmosphere, attentive service, grand portions and the Thai tea is freaking sweet. We ordered a Thai tea to go. The Korean chicken and waffles are delicious, sweet tasting fried chicken. The Bahn mi skillet was a perfect size for me (I'm a big guy).

Oh and yes they have mimosas.“

“Amazing! We finally found a Thai spot in Fremont that makes amazing tom kha soup. The first time we ate here we were able to get a table! It’s a smaller place and was very busy. We ordered a variety of items to get a taste of the place. It was also a special meal as this was our last date night before our daughter was born. We were not disappointed. Besides the tom kha soup, we also ordered Thai iced tea, Thai iced coffee, fresh spring rolls, yellow curry with chicken, green curry with chicken, two jasmine rice, and matcha cake with Thai tea ice cream. The soup was our favorite by far! Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. Also appreciate that you can choose the spice level on everything. I can only do mild and my husband does super spicy so he likes Thai hot. Even though they were very busy, the staff were friendly and attentive. We liked this place so much that later that week when we left the hospital to bring our baby girl home, we ordered two tom kha soups for pick up. It tasted so good! They give you a good portion and is full of chicken and mushrooms. The chicken is tender and soaks up the lemongrass coconut broth goodness. The depth of flavors makes you want more and more. It was a very tasty meal to come home to. Also appreciate that they clearly mark which soup is spicy.
A couple weeks later when my mother in law was in town, we ordered for pick up as we wanted her to try this place. We ordered spicy tom kha soup with chicken, mild tom kha soup with chicken, red curry with chicken, green curry with chicken, pad Thai with chicken, jasmine rice, and pineapple fried rice with chicken. The soup was still the best in my opinion. Both curries were flavorful and had a good amount of veggies and meat. The pineapple fried rice was pretty tasty with the raisins and cashews. The pad Thai was a bit disappointing though. The noddles were thinner and not traditional pad Thai noddles. There was hardly any sauce so it was dry and the noodles stuck together. I also wish there was a bit more chicken and tofu.
This is now our go to Thai spot in Fremont. We wouldn’t order the pad Thai again but will for sure be back for the delicious tom kha soup and tasty curries. Highly recommend this place!“

“This restaurant catered the recent fund raiser for the Cupertino Historical society and the food WAS TO DIE FOR! The best food I’ve ever had at such an event. Standouts were the pineapple rice, the vegetable pastries the chicken satay the pad Thai and cooked chicken on a skewer the desserts were great too - little candied strawberries and tiny slices of an amazing cake. We are staff and we were just swooning over the tastes of everything. I want to take my mom to the restaurant now“

Yesterday (Nov 9), we ordered for takeout our usual fare, 2 curries, drunk noodles, and an appetizer. But when we served the food, it was insanely spicy. No doubt, I ordered medium
spicy. But, the food spiciness was nowhere near medium; rather it was very, very spicy. When I called the restaurant, the manager offered to redo all the dishes for us! We really appreciate the excellent customer service that Jasmine Thai manifested. To them, the customer comes first. We would recommend them highly to you.“

“We walked in for a takeout order on a Thursday evening. There was just one table of customers. The hostess greeted us kindly and took our order. The food took around 10 minutes. Cashew Nut with chicken was flavorful and well-cooked, as was Pad Krapow (Sweet Basil) with fried tofu. Our food was satisfactory, but nothing special. “Papaya Thai is a Bay Area treasure. My wife and I stumbled upon it while looking for a good place to have lunch after running an errand in Newark. We had Lamb Yellow Curry Stew and Pad Thai with Shrimp. The lamb was perfectly cooked in a rich yellow curry with potatoes and carrots. The meat was as tender as you can possibly imagine. The Pad Thai was mixed with a sweet sauce that was slightly sticky, which I like so the noodles adhere to each other. I don’t know if this is traditional, but really like Pad Thai like that.“

- potato bun
- grilled onions
- American cheese
- creamy garlic aioli
- Dijon mustard

It’s hard to not be bomb with that line up of ingredients. size wise it resembles the portion of a “double double” just minus the veggies. I know this isn’t a “smash burger” a little but of crisp/caramelization would take this over the top. Solid solid solid burger. Would come back for it.

Other things to consider, I have had the Ube latte from the coffee shop. That’s great also.

“Come here for lunch over the years. Food is amazing. They offer so many Thai food dishes. Best part they can make pretty much any Thai dish you can think of. Small place in the Grand Century Mall food court but huge taste. Make sure you grab a fried banana before you leave for dessert.“

“Long overdue review, But I've been going to Thai Elephant Express since they've open. I can remember when their Pad Thai prices were around 8-9$ a plate! (Miss these prices )

Although prices have gone up, the quality hasn't changed. Everything I've tried here is delicious.

My go order is usually the 2 plate combo with, Rice, Garlic chicken and either the yellow curry chicken or tamarin fish.

If you haven't tried their Pad Thai, I would strongly recommend this as well. The portion sizes in everything you order is very generous, and their service is friendly and quick!

Parking can be a bit crazy, so sometimes I'll park across the street at Target, and then walk over.

“Thaibodia is a great spot if you are eating with family or a group. Portions are generous and work really well for family style sharing, so ordering a few dishes is usually more than enough for everyone.

Food comes out hot, flavorful, and consistently good. Nothing over the top, just solid Thai dishes at a good value. We almost always have leftovers, which is a nice bonus.

They have a large menu with a lot of staples you'll find at most Thai restaurants.
