“My wife likes the Menudo that they prepare here. It is one of the places where the flavor of Guadalajara Menudo is best and they always serve you well. Well, at least I don't have any bad experience. Maybe there was a group playing, the truth is, I don't even know if they have live music on Sundays or it was just for that day, but I didn't ask, I owe it to them.“

“Jessica's taco truck have been here for years, and they always seem to please my appetite, as they have all different types of meats, and different plates. Their food is freshly made, and the meats are juicy, and tender.
Theres plenty of parking, and as well seating under their covered earring area. Just try not to pay attention to the train that passes by,as well you occasionally seated bagger.“

“I'm literally obsessed with this place. I found out about it on Tiktok. I'm from Turlock so anytime I'm in Modesto I make sure to go. I always get their chicken family pack and it comes with beans, rice, macaroni salad, and lots of corn tortillas. I also get their pork ribs with bbq and omg it's the best! They grill their meat outside so when you pull into the parking lot you could see and smell it. I always take it to go, and they're very fast with your orders and friendly customer service. They have nice seating inside too with big flat screen TV's. Honestly guys I'm Mexican and have tried a lot of places but this place is definitely a hidden gem. A little hole in the wall 🩷“

“Listen, I am picky when it comes to Mexican food. My grandma‘s set the bar high. And there are two specific dishes that I always order at a new restaurant, and that is Caldo de Res and Chile Rellenos…these are basic dishes but I’m beyond snobby when it comes to them. If they mess these up then I will never go back. Lupita’s Homestyle Cocina exceeded my expectations. The chile relleno was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. Lupitas only cooks caldo de res on Thursdays and it just so happened to be a Thursday when I ordered. The Caldo de Res tasted like home. I know she used the beef bones to make the broth because you can taste the oils. It was cooked to perfection with big chopped vegetables and nice sized chunks of beef. We also ordered the pick 3 and got Chile relleno, chicken enchilada, and a chicken chimichanga. It came with a nice sized helping of beans and rice. I got a monster burrito with beef and it was no joke! HUGE burrito and it had everything I wanted in a burrito (beef, whole beans, rice, cheese, guacamole, and pico de gallo. The sour cream was on the side and it was served with your choice of red or green sauce over it. Bomb. I got a flan for desert and oh my goodness. I seriously didn’t expect much because the food was good enough. But dang, that flan was spectacular. The perfect consistency and the Carmel top of the flan was so creamy and smooth. It didn’t have that burnt taste that a lot of flans have. All in all, I was impressed by every dish. I would say that the refried beans were a bit salty, but the Mexican rice more than made up for that. I took time to write this because it deserves praise and hopefully gains more business as its location is tucked away behind the KFC on Oakdale road.“

You are immediately happily greeted by their staff, seated and chips and dip are on their way, asked about drinks and here they are. Service is great and food even better. Tee is friendly and very pleasant. I can't believe the review about the customer who had the problem and Tee the manager said "so." I have been going there since they opened and never have I experienced any of the staff being rude. The place is clean and one of my priorities. I would highly recommend giving it a try. I remember eating here as a little kid with my parents when they first opened and now thankfully my young daughter gets to experience the same tradition as I did. By far the most delicious Mexican food anywhere around! Unmatched flavor that will keep you coming back because you start craving it. Even the rice and beans have their own distinct delicious flavor different from other Mexican restaurants. The enchiladas and tacos are my favorite but everything is amazing. “Food Is fresh chips are not store bought I had the nachos but we arrived understood that we had almost an hour before they were going to close the employees were cleaning up for the night this is a great thing however the cleaning solution was so strong I really lost my appetite and didn’t even barley touch my food once I got home. “My go to food truck when I’m in Modesto. Staff is always friendly, food is consistent and there is always parking. Prices are also good, especially when compared to the Bay Area. There are two benches to sit at, but not a lot of shade. Definitely recommend overall.“
