They have a lot of choices, and we both ordered the mixed Hawaiian BBQ meals. It arrived in a disposable container, and it was full to the brim with meat, rice, macaroni salad, and vegetables. So delicious, and enough for both of us to take home for dinner. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are very generous, and most of all, delicious!“

Their wagyu cuts are 100% top-grade and not just random "wagyu" that are below the marks. We tried their A5 and M9 meats, not to mention their salmon carpaccio that is to die for. Their sides are absolutely delicious and smart, one great example is their fried pork buns that is like a spin on soup dumplings. To top it off, you get premium ice cream in the end. Their salad is so good with yuzu and smokey salt, plus you get a chili mix too. They serve the meats fast plus your tablet menu is in front of you so you don't have to keep calling the staff to refill. I give them 9 stars! 🌟 🐄 🥩“

“I went here for the first time on a Monday evening. The service was really good and on point on this day. Staff was always checking on us, always making sure our stove was clean or removing finished dishes. I got us the Deluxe meal. The spicy baby octopus was good. The gyōza dumplings and egg rolls were really good. They have sushi as well. Their menu can be accessed by QR code or you can ask for a physical menu.“

Had a group of 8 to try again. Roasted duck and BBQ pork 叉燒were savory. 雪菜鴨絲炆米 is not really recommended especially when you compare the roasted duck and the Duck Rice noodles (鴨絲炆米).
In general, still recommend you give it a try.

Ordered Togo last time, portion, price and taste were decent. Dine in this time. It's full house due the small size of this restaurant. Ordered Hong Kong style minced beef rice with sunny side up on the top. A bit dried and disappointed. Another Eggplant with shredded pork and bamboo slices. Taste good . Of course, best match with rice. Additional $1.95 for the HK style lemon tea with refills which is my favorite. Why not.
Definitely I will go back and try something else.

“Y'all... I can finally eat the greens!!! They make them with turkey instead of pork and I gobbled them things up. Almost went for more!
I got the chicken plate with 2 sides, mac and cheese and the greens. Comes with a slice of whole wheat bread. Chicken was a bit dry but the sauce helped it... until I ran out of the bbq sauce.
I got the hot and regular bbq sauces. The hot had a nice kick, very tangy. Both were sweet and thick. The cups weren't filled up all the way, which would probably be helpful. They were about half full and I had used both cups to dip the chicken, so halfway through eating the chicken, I was out of sauce. This is where the greens came in handy, to dip the chicken in the juices or eat the chicken with the greens to add some moisture.
Mac and cheese was good. Nice creamy cheesr sauce and soft noodles.
I will definitely go back, just know to order a few extra sides of bbq sauce!“

The food has a very distinct flavor profile — not exactly my taste, but my family really enjoyed the variety of dishes. Personally, I only liked the fried rice and tofu skewers. The food itself isn’t bad at all; it’s just got a very unique flavor style that may not suit everyone.

“This has become my favorite Chinese BBQ place recently! Very authentic and their skewers are always fresh and fragant with their charcoal grilled fumes. Their grilled fish is one of my favorite dish as well, comes with sorted veggies in it, fish was very fresh.“

A lot of people in South El Monte love Chinese, Vietnamese, and Japanese cultures and so the businesses in the area thrive. I also enjoy getting Korean BBQ meats in the South El Monte City or a nice hot meal at the Daikokuya Japanese Ramen place on Garvey. I noticed that a lot of people in Korean Town over in Los Angeles were starting to purchase up commercial real estate and launch businesses in South El Monte. In a recent merger and acquisition of a major grocery store business chain in South El Monte, it had become Korean owned as well and started to add many awesome products such as canned boba drinks. South El Monte is one of the most vibrant, diverse, and sweet pockets of hidden gem Asian foods in California and the San Gabriel Valley. When I go to school on the East Coast, I really miss it.“

“Absolutely delicious! I decided to try this place today and I'm immediately reviewing to get people to support this local gem. I had the tofu vegetable combo plate and it was tasty as hell. The tofu was soft, the veggies had the perfect bite, and the brown sauce was well seasoned. The entire dish was warm and light enough that I almost cleaned my plate despite it being so satisfying. “I've tried Hainan chicken all my life, and this one is special. Portions are very generous. The chicken is very tender and cooked to perfection. The rice is incredible even it's just rice. But they Cook the rice in a way that's not very greasy like other places. Kind of dry and tasty.
We also tried the potato noodles since it's highly rated with other reviews. We ended up taking to go since it was just too much food for 2 is us.
Be careful online shows Xin Wang restaurant but the actual sign in front says Ana Wang Hainan Chicken. But it is the same. Don't know why.
Not too many pictures here to take since they're all over online already. Anyhow, great food, simple dining experience. Nothing fancy. You definitely should give it a try.“

Side dishes were nice, I especially enjoyed the cucumbers and the fish cakes. I honestly could eat a whole bowl of just the fish cakes. The kimchi was crunchy and flavorful. Plenty of seating and the staff doesn't bother you while eating, come when you call them.
