the only duffulty here is the parking, but that all depends on the time you come.

“I had a very last-minute idea to get a mini cake for a bachelorette party, and Anna was incredibly kind and accommodating (though I definitely don’t recommend being as last-minute as I was 🫣). The service was super quick, and you could truly feel how thoughtful and sweet she is. 😊

I chose the banana cake, which is similar to banana bread but much more moist—so delicious! I’m not usually a big buttercream fan, so it was just okay for me personally, but the cake itself was amazing. Anna even added last-minute hearts to the cake, which I really appreciated!

Their burnt cheesecake is also incredibly creamy and delicious—it’s my mom’s favorite, and she’s very picky about her sweets. Highly recommend supporting this bakery! 🫶“

“Very cute little local dessert place. All the desserts are made fresh. My girlfriend and I were just looking for a sweet treat and found this place. We got a crème brule, a carrot cake, a macaroon and two iced teas. The iced teas are made fresh and then put over ice. They were very good. My gf got a passion fruit one and I got got mint. We would definitely come again. And the workers I think are the owners but they were super nice and even asked us to try the teas before we left to make sure we were happy with them. Would definitely come back“

“Best doughnuts bar none. The doughnuts are soft, fluffy, and glazed to perfection. The croissant sandwiches are incredible.They have breakfast sandwiches as well as boba. I buy a dozen doughnuts for my office and they all can't get enough. The owners are always kind and friendly. Been coming here for years and I always recommend it. This morning was packed but with their fast friendly service the line went down quickly and with a smile. The owners always wish you luck if you buy a lotto ticket. Montebello's best little doughnut gem.“

“We’ve been getting cakes at this place for around 4-6 years I believe. The cakes have always been moist, soft, and extremely delicious/flavorful. A birthday cake we got of chocolate w/ strawberry filling tasted amazing but a bit dry (that was the only time that happened). We love that the frostings aren’t so sugary to the point that it’s obnoxious. It’s just perfectly balanced. My favs are the fruit tarts & vanilla cake w/mixed fruit filling. We have tasted the vanilla w/ mango cake and it’s phenomenal!! We recently tried the cream and custard puffs & they were light and creamy, 10/10 recommend. We have bought cakes here for dinner gatherings with friends & they’ve enjoyed the cakes too, always asking where we buy them. It’s true that the bakery “appearance wise” would appreciate a nice upkeep since it looks a bit old fashioned/worn out but it’s always clean and organized so it doesn’t bother us. It’s honestly a gem hidden in Montebello :)

This is my go-to restaurant where I get my 🌄 cafecito, it's always fresh and hot. I feel welcomed every visit even after years of patronage. The local community supports this small business, and so should the tourists who visit the Montebello surrounding areas. You will not be disappointed.“

“Wanted to try a new place after church service for breakfast. Authentic food. Homemade style. Be prepared to speak Spanish when ordering. My cousin said too warm inside. It is a bakery, so heat is probably from ovens. Next time, I will try pan dulce. I ordered bistek con nopalitos. It
was chopped beef with potatoes and nopales. Of course, rice and beans. It was a little disappointing that there were no peas and carrots in the rice. It's still good. Seating a little tight. It's bolted down fast food style chairs with attached table. Buen provecho everyone.“

“This place was popping. So let’s see if they’re pretty good eh or ew. I got their cannoli Amy’s delight cake slice, and of course snoopy sugar cookie. This was my first time having a cannoli and it had a soft shell and was filled with plenty of thick a bit citrusy cream and crunchy chocolate chips. Eh. The cake slice was MASSIVE and had layers of fluffy, delicate, not dry white and chocolate cake, a thin layer of silky custard, plenty of not too sweet whipped creamy icing, fresh strawberries and bananas that added a nice fruity pop and was surrounded by some roasty toasty crunchy almonds. The snoopy sugary cookie was SUPER CUTE, had a yummy, fun, not too sweet, crunchy icing and buttery not dry cookie. Lowkey obviously my fave thing. Overall this place is pretty good.
