“P&J deli market has some of the best food in Montebello, you have to try!Just destroyed a breakfast burrito, the owner made the eggs "Mexicana style" with onions, tomatoes and jalapenos and it was amazing. He grated the hash browns as well, and this burrito was amazing. It was not greasy or salty, but full of fresh flavor!I've had a lot of breakfast burritos in my life, and this has to be one of the best I've ever had. “This is literally the funniest and fun beer bar I’ve ever been to,but I find myself addicted to their Caesar salads they find themselves addicted to my poor sense of humor. I find myself addicted to tipping them more.They find themselves addicted to inviting me more. we formed a perfect relationship, but I will tell you the service is great they’re extremely friendly and the food quality is incredible.This isn’t dive bar food.They have a really great area for outdoor seating right on the corner and they have a number of sandwiches. “El Canton De La Patrona took over the old Fish Grill location and is in the same plaza as El Pollo Loco. My husband and I decided to try this local restaurant. We made an order over the phone for pick up. We ordered: La Patrona Ceviche, $16.95 prior to tax- The ceviche was fresh and refreshing. This order also came with 3 tostadas. The ceviche is made with shrimp, cucumbers, avocados, red onions and tomatoes. I wished I had a few more tostadas. Burrito, $15.95 prior to tax- My husband got the asada burrito, which was packed with rice, beans and lettuce. Cheese and guacamole are also in the burrito. A side of chips are served along side the burrito. This entree was very filling, which my husband ate over 2 meals. 3 item combo, Trio Perfecto, $16.95 prior to tax- For this meal combo, I picked sopes, tamale and soft taco. This meal was also served with a side of rice and beans. My mom enjoyed the tamale and soft taco. We both also enjoyed the rice and beans and I liked the sopes. The 3 item combo is a good portion for one, although a fair amount for 2 to share (for a small dinner). ----------------------------- (Total= $54.96 after tax) Please note that there is a small discount if paying with cash. Service was friendly at pick up. Also it was nice that our food was ready at the time promised when we came to pick it up. My family and I enjoyed El Canton De La Patrona and will most likely order from them again.“

“So I've been wanting to come since they've opened. Today finally got that chance. I loved the designs in the walls and the colors throughout. We got a flight of beers to try them out. Pale ale, IPA, sour, and sweet and spicy. They were really good. All the ladies there were so kind and helpful. We had a great time. They played great salsa and Latin vibes kind of music. Felt like I wasn't in Pasadena. The manager Martin was really cool and I loved that he's been experimenting with all kinds of fruits . “We had a great time at Escondite, the patio is great, heated & enclosed enough to keep much of the weather from you. The interior reminds me of a few Seattle bars I've been to. Narrow, booths, antler chandeliers. It seems decidedly Northwest. While I enjoyed the gig, the place isn't really set up for a rock/punk show. It seems to me designed for a low key band where patrons would enjoy the music from their seats. Well drinks are about $10 & this place seems to love Malort!“

“I was in the area after having tried Hop Secret beforehand, and thought i'd give this one a try as well since it was nearby. There weren't many people for a Thursday night, which I didn't mind. The beertender was nice and had a very friendly personality. She told us the story of how the brewery's name came to be, being as the owner studied geology. She made sure we were comfortable by checking on us often, asking if we'd like water, and even changed the channel to the Thursday Night Football game upon request. I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in the area.“

“It’s ironically a local brewery to where in life in Georgia, but this nice hipster style brewery with a good choice of beers (some exclusively only available in CA) and incredibly friendly staff…much better than the sports driven bars nearer to the Crypto. I believe it’s only recently opened, so I wish them all the best….I just wished I discovered it last week when I arrived and not on my last day in LA.“

Loud music blasting so hard you have to shout your order to the bartender and shout to the person in front of you? Check.I feel like it's a ton of wasted potential. “This bar is my favorite hang. Karaoke on Thursdays is better than any spot in the city, any night. Bartenders are all friendly and quick with service. The smoking patio out back is very comfy and nice to chill at. And Dave does a custom kitchen service on peak days out back. Drink prices are very fair. The crowd that frequents this place is very cool, and very friendly. I can have a great time with great people for a reasonable price, any time. 10/10“

“I went to Beer Thug Brewing recently. I played a round of pinball on a Jurassic Park themed pinball machine. I thought the place looked decent, but it was a bit empty. There was a DJ playing music, but I thought the music was a bit too loud. I liked that there were music videos being streamed and projected on a wall. I liked that there was karaoke at one point.“

“Haven't been to Gold Room in years, better than I remember it. Small dive bar off Sunset. Bartender Tony was friendly, attentive and quick to take our drink order. His cocktails were very very well made. He takes his time and you can tell enjoys the craft. Tried the Double Trouble and Pineapple Express. Double Trouble is absolutely delicious - 10/10. Pineapple Express was just as good, but def loaded (has mezcal & tequila). It'll have you feeling good real quick. Drink prices are reasonable priced for LA. Same for their daily happy hour menu. Very solid beer menu too. They have a jukebox you can pay to control the music which is kinda cool. Get to hear a variety of music genres cause of it. Solid bar for a quick beer or cocktail.“

I always order Charbroiled Lemongrass Beef w / Shrimp Egg Rolls, hits the spot for me. Portion wise it’s really good. Their Summer Rolls are also filling, but on the pricier side.“

“This place is one of my absolute favorites in Whittier! The burgers are amazing, and I love their selection of Belgian beers. I am no oyster expert, but I tried them once and they were great! The meal came out really quickly and the food was delicious. I was suprised that the hard boiled egg was thinly sliced than into 2 parts. It wasn't busy at all and a pretty decent space to move around. Theres also outside seating as well as indoor ones. The kitchen is right in the open area and isnt closed off so you can see all the prep and food. The drinks had different milk options, I chose soy milk. In total before tip it was $78. They also had different merch like tote bags, t-shirts and more. I was tempted to get the desserts, but was unfortunately too full to try them.Wheelchair accessibility: Theres no 2nd floor so everything is ground level.“

It's definitely not a first date kinda place. It's more suitable for super relaxed people who are trying to avoid the crowds while still being able to have a good time. My fiancé and I randomly passed by and happened to hear music. Today, we had nothing to do so we decided to stop by. The Dj played a mix of cumbias, merengue, bachata, reggaetón & corridos he even allowed customers to karaoke. “We love their pizza. One of the best build your own pizza spots. Sandwiches are ok but the pizzas are where it's at. Service is decent, mostly good but there are some young kids that are still learning how not to be socially awkward. “Cute little gem hidden in a random plaza in Buena Park! Hubbie and I were looking for a place to hang out after dropping off daughter to hang out for few hours. I like wine- he likes beer. We were so pleasantly surprised to find the place with a great selection of both! From the outside you wouldn't think much, but once inside, it is the most cozy and welcoming place. We chatted with the guy working there (can't remember his name but he was so friendly!), who told us that the owner likes to change up the drink menu monthly. They also have a shelf of board and trivia games to play, and host weekly trivia nights. We had a great cozy evening, and tried some excellent wine & beer for such a great price! “I came here for brunch with my Family on a Saturday at 11am after my son's baseball game. The food was absolutely delicious. The Bolon was? delicious! The Carne Guisado was also soo, so good. I highly recommend you get the salsa picante to add that perfect level of fire to your plate. The atmosphere is a combination of modern and traditional ecuadorean. The customer service was the best, and for this, we are absolutely coming back!“
