“As always such a treat to get food from here. Savories, sweets sandwiches all so good. To see them spread out and having to choose is so difficult. Cubano was sour and the Spicy Chicken Milanese was great but not so spicy. Ropa Veja was also tasty. . The bread on all these… perfect. Mango shake was better than the Passion Guava. It gets very crowded at lunch time. You cannot order sandwiches online. The drinks they make when you pick them up.“

“Found this store on Eater LA and came on a Saturday. It was cheerful to get the limited special cake — chestnut tiramisu! The chestnut cream is so yummy! A bit pricey ($29 total for four desserts) but truly worth it. The genmaicha tofu cake is my favorite. It has a rich soy flavor and the texture is so soft! I also like the blueberry and lavender cake with jelly on top. Excellent combination! Staff were very careful about packaging so even I drove for roughly an hour with the cakes, they remained intact all the time!“

“Fabulous 👌!!! This is my favorite bakery. Whenever I'm in charge of picking up a cake for any special occasion, only the strawberry cake with almonds will do. The cake is perfect every single time.

“My husband and I got our wedding cake from Maksen Cake House and were very happy with it!
We couldn't decide a cake place even 2 weeks before the celebration. Despite all the rush, they provided us with some samples. Not to mention that they were attentive and easy to communicate with.
The cake came out same as the sample image that we provided. Just like we asked them, the flavor was not too sweet or strong. It's sure that they use quality ingredients. Highly recommend this place!“

Many other Asian bakeries in the area no longer do their Mango cakes with actual fruit layered all over the top/outside--they just use mostly mango cream or mousse. This place also has breads, pastries, and a small frozen area with veggie baos and more.“

“I was looking for a great dessert spot and this spot delivered.I had three scoops of pineapple coconut, chocolate chip and their pistachio. The best one was their pistachio which I think was the best version I’ve had from any ice cream spot. “Great place to get ice cream. Always friendly and willing to help.Had an issue with a milkshake today, feel it had a much lower amount than normal. Normally it's to the brim, not sure why it was so low. Perhaps the ice cream was melted more than normal. No issue, both of the workers working the afternoon shift were attentive, understood my concerns and worked out a remedy for me. Very much appreciated! “We found this cute cafe on Google and it was just what we wanted. A perfect place for a low-key cup of coffee and delicious pastry on a Saturday morning with a friend ( my daughter:-). Just FYI, there are only a couple of tables inside, and the parking lot is small and shared, but there is street parking. Arbi the owner was really nice and our almond croissants and lattes hit the spot. I work in Glendale and will definitely stop in again.“
