“While we were walking in Monterey last June (2023) , we came across Tzone primarily because we say passion fruit plant that was growing in a pot. We love passion fruit so obviously went inside the store not sure what really to expect in terms of the drinks or food.We first admired the passion fruit plant and then went towards the register to see what they were offering. It is mainly a drink place with various flavors of teas (bubble, Thai, flavored). It was quite a selection and sounded all good but my wife wanted to make sure it was not too sweet but also get something other than standard. That's where Eli comes in. He was so friendly and helpful. he took time to explain how TZone was different and better. He explained each of the choices and what goes into each of the drinks (type of tea, sweetener, fruit or other flavors, etc). He helped my wife select the right drink based on her likings and he even agreed to make it less sweet. My wife loved the tea as it was not very sweetOverall place is big and quite airy and well lit. Very clean and plenty of space to sit and relax.Again kudos to Eli for providing 5* service“
“Food was hot and tasted good...it's a chain so I've been to all of them. But this location to me feels like the 1st. It looks like it could hold a large banquet on one side but it's not open on that side. A little older but the food was hot and tasted good nothing left to take home ?“
“Tiny spot in Seaside. Awesome rice plates and soups, not to mention the boba drinks. Always consistent and tasty. Decent portions and vegetarian options available too. Yummy ?.Parking: Sometimes parking can be a challenge but usually there's a spot close by.“
“Their Thai food is absolutely amazing! The see eau noodles are the wide thick originals I love & their peanut sauce is to die for! I have tried Thai food all around here & I am now addicted to this place~ as is my vegetarian friend & her family that I picked some up for! (I personally am a carnivore lol) It is definitely set up more as a take out type, but don’t let it deceive you into thinking they’re making cheap tasting fast food!!! ? yummy!!!!“
“Their shrimp chow fun and shrimp pho are out of this world!! I also get their QQ black sugar crema and Hawaiian Fruit boba drinks. The black sugar is nice and rich but not too sweet, the hawaiian fruit is refreshing- tastes like passionfruit, star fruit and orange mixed together. The servers are nice and knowledgeable about the menu too. Pricing isn't too bad either!“
“This little place is tucked into a nondescript strip mall that is barely noticeable from the road and it's a real treasure. The food is delightful and they let you pick the spice level which is awesome. I go for the spicy, 3 on a 4 point scale. It's enough to relieve all my congestion caused by seasonal allergies. And you just can't beat the service. I don't even call ahead for takeout because they are so quick. When the cook hears your order she starts cooking and it arrives at my table about the same time I get settled in, less than 2 minutes. This cook is skilled and efficient.Just awesome.“
“This is my first visit and I'm beyond pleased. I tried a panini and soup. The soup is mostly broth based. Savory and sour, they started with a homemade veggie stock and layered it with small bites of mushrooms, seaweed and pears, with gentle flavors of nutmeg and maca.macadamia. It really warmed my soul on a day that I needed it! The panini is on a foccacia style sour dough house baked, flavorful a crispy. Highly recommended can't wait to come back.“
“Before, I had never noticed the BobaLicious truck on the side of the Exxon gas station, but a classmate of mine from CSUMB recommended me to try it since I love boba! I tried their matcha green tea latte and have been coming back ever since! It's the perfect taste, not too strong or too sweet! The owner is really friendly, he stated that he is now opening up an actual BobaLicious shop in a few weeks on 474 Tyler street! I highly recommend coming here, way better than T-Zone boba in downtown Monterey!“
