In terms of the specific location, I've only been here once, but I found the person behind the counter to be efficient, friendly, and engaging. “Falafel corner is a great spot to grab a quick lunch . Be aware that Its not on the corner it's in the middle of the block . The shape of the falafels here is unique , they are not balls but more like small pattys . The falafel is always hot and very fresh . Crispy on the outside and a fresh green look on the inside . The tahini sauce and the hot sauce they use are very tasty ,and the veggies are always crisp and fresh . The staff is alwAys friendly .They have good prices . I would recommend this place for a delicious and affordable meal“

“Town Fare is excellent. Just ate here at their last Sunday brunch which happens monthly. It was buffet style. Chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits were superlative. The location in the Oakland Museum is super stylish and classic. This restaurant needs to be supported.“

“Amazing kebabs for a great price! For $18 you get enough for two people with leftovers. We tried the chicken and the lamb and they were both amazing. The kebabs come with a large serving of delicious rice, a pita, a cooked tomato and a salad.

Takes about 20 minutes to come out and there is no seating inside, but it was completely worth the wait!“

“This place has absolutely amazing burgers! I come all the way out here from SF every once in awhile just to get some! I haven’t really tried much else on the menu but my friend got the wings and really enjoyed those as well, I did get to try the steak fries which I would definitely say to avoid they are pretty soggy and the cheese sauce isn’t very good, but I’ll continue coming back here and recommending it because it’s hard to find an actually good burger around here! Plus it’s a great area to go with friends cause there is tons of food options and also bars to hangout at! Just be ready cause it can get pretty busy over here on the weekends!“

I am always impressed with the courtesy displayed at Chick-Fil-A employees but Gabriel was extremely friendly and patient while we ordered. There was a misunderstanding with our nuggets order which we didn’t catch. The team remedied the situation expeditiously and did not display any frustration. I have a happy kid now with a full belly - thank you! And the sunset display tonight was just the icing on the cake - gorgeous sky at this location!“

“The staff were extremely friendly. I ordered tteokbokki and a corn dog with potatoes and topped with lots of cheese. The tteokbokki and filling but I had to try their corn dog! The corn dog was crispy outside and very moist inside. I would definitely go there again. Next time I will try other corn dog flavors.“

The best part is my area has brick and mortar stores where I just walk in and buy my meal prep for the week...Meals cooked in a local kitchen by real chefs with local fresh ingredients. I'm busy all the time and although I love cooking it's hard to cook for just one person. The majority of meals are 600 calories or less. An easy way for me to stay in my calorie deficit. “I love their beef noodles! And the meat is not too bad - not chewy/fatty. Could use extra veggies or add a little more but otherwise it's ok. The morning silog are great! My daughter loves bangus so she orders bangus silog. We can't order bangus anywhere else (main stream restaurant) so this a treat for her. Breakfast has limited time so make sure to get there before it ends. My daughter and I order sesame balls to take home and eats halohalo for dessert (summer time treat) afterwards. We also order taho for winter treat to finished off our visit. This store is like a fast food place - first you order and pay for your food at the counter. Then wait for your food to call in and enjoy your food either eat-in or take out. Just like any other fast food restaurants.

“Always some of the best hot dogs that I know of. I usually get the hot link and/or the big quarter pound hot dog with all the trimmings, i.e., chopped onions and tomatoes, mustard, ketchup, relish, and occasionally jalapeno peppers. The employees are always very kind, courteous, and professional. I definitely recommend Caspers Hot Dogs if you like great hot dogs.

Parking: There is ample parking on the restaurant parking lot. I never have a problem parking there.“

“Nick the Greek is always a spot that's fairly consistent across all of their locations (at least the ones I've been to). It was nice to be greeted when I walked in and the cashier had welcomed me in with a smile. It's been a while since someone welcomed me or my friends into a restaurant with a smile, so this was appreciated. This location also had plenty of seats and since I went during lunch, I could really sit anywhere.“

The fish was fresh, fried to perfection and seasoned well, and the fries were also good, they were nothing like the other reviewer said . This will be my go to place for fish and fries when I’m back in Oakland. Try it for yourself you won’t be disappointed.“

I was just driving by when I noticed this restaurant, so I decided to stop and order their fish sandwich with a meal. They give you a bag full of fries, and everything was delicious. The sandwich was great, the fish was tasty, and the sauce was perfect—no complaints whatsoever.

“Ordered a bacon cheeseburger burger with a mango shake and curly fries. It's a short walk around Anh's to sit with a view of the lake while eating a tasty burger. The burger patty was well browned and full of flavor. The curly fries had a crispy crunchy bite and a tiny bit of heat. The mango shake was nice and fruity. Overall, a satisfying meal at a reasonable price.

“I have heard about this restaurant from friends so I went to try it, it is a sit-eat-and-go place I have tried the Persian burger and it taste good it looks like a kafta kabab taste. As a Lebanese and food lover I was impressed with the hummus the taste was good but the Tabboule didn’t meet my expectations because you shouldn’t have cucumber and lettuce as also it needs more lemon juice.

The kids loved the chicken tenders and yummy fries. It was a good meal, and we appreciated how the workers made sure our order was perfect.
