“This place is located in a quiet neighborhood. There was plenty of parking and we got right in. They have a dog friendly patio, specials and quick service! We enjoyed chorizo with eggs and chicken fried steak and eggs. Everything was priced well!“

“The regular pastrami sandwich is HUGE and at the time of this review, about $12. The whole role and succulent meat must have weighed about a pound. The pastrami was not too salty or fatty and pretty tender, like properly cooked pastrami should be. We ordered a small fries (my lesson was learned the last time I came when I ordered a large onion rings and got a literal sackfull) and that was enough for two people. The place is good value and definitely on my list for a quick return.“

“My mom and brother and I went to The Heights for lunch, and we enjoyed everything about it, the vibe, my chicken marsala was delicious, mom had cranberry turkey sandwich and loved it, brother had the dill salmon, he loved it. My only complaint is, it can get a little loud when the place gets full of customers. Yes half of it is a bar, but overall, we will be going back, great place!!“

You need to bring back the sugar bread for appetizer. I came an hour away just for that and the fish and chips. At least the fish and chips were great. Sad no more bread though please bring it back.“

“Had Jaiden as our bartender, she was very attentive and got me the extra sauces I asked for. The drinks were actually pretty good! Got the Watermelon Smash and Passionfruit Sour and then got the tenders and fries basket. The tenders my friend ordered def were bigger and he got more, mine was like 2.5 tenders as the third piece was not a full size tender but his were decent portions. Not sure if they go by weight or quantity 🤷‍♂. I like the ambience though and it is a nice chill spot for food and drinks.“

“I had a great breakfast. I ordered scrambled eggs with a turkey sausage and shared a shared an English muffin with my sister. The food was delicious.

What I did not like is that we had to pick up our own hot teas. I think they should be delivered to our table, specially since we had already tipped the waiter.“

Burgers and fries are big, portions generous. I was there lately and it wasn’t busy, but the drive-up is steady all day.“

“We are huge fans of BBD, we always stop at one when going out of town. But todays brunch was the worst we’ve ever had. My wife ordered the corned beef hash and the corned beef as like shredded shoe leather, the toast wasn’t even toasted at all, her over easy eggs were over hard. She ordered a side of bacon and it was drenched in grease. My granddaughter ordered French toast which was good but the syrup was like sugar water. I ordered the chili burger which was pretty good, chili was sweet which I don’t care for but that’s a preference. Best part of my wife’s meal was her water. Service was great nor bad, just so so. Will need to really think about returning to BBD or not. Very disappointed. I’m hoping it’s just that specific location and not all.“

“I haven't been able to eat here in years due to my allergies, but when I was younger, I came here every week with my husband. We would always order a 'small' chilli fries, Turkey chilli cheese burgers with an orange bang, always enough to feed ten people generously. Though, I do support this place, I bring my kids but this last visit made me kind of feel different. We went through the driver thru and though I have nothing negative to speak of their food, it was the service, or lack of that got me. This place has always had the hardest workers and they pump out the food, but this last visit made me upset. The woman who works the drive thru took forever to come to the window and when she did, all she did was put out her hand, never greeted us, nor looked our way. She was too involved in her conversation with the three other females she was standing there with. One of them was working, but the rest were just talking, and I'm not gonna lie, this is the first time I've ever experienced this here in the decades long years I've come to this location. She took the card, then eventually she handed it back to my husband, but still never said anything or acknowledged us, never looking our way. She pretty much threw the bags out the window, and all we could do was laugh at how terrible the service was. It was a realization that it's probably better to order inside than it is to deal with her again. Need to get better employees.“

“Stopped here off the highway for a quick lunch on a roadtrip. This place is amazing for a meal that’s not too filling and leaves you satisfied. Portion sizes are giant for the price! I had the grilled salmon with penne pasta and a salad and it was delicious. The salmon is thin cut. This was a perfect meal for us that wasn’t too heavy. The salad was super refreshing and the dressing was tasty. There’s a tiny parking lot in back if you’re lucky. Be prepared to street park.“

“Well, food is excellent, I was there for breakfast, was my first time there. The choices were great, I ordered from a specials menu… delicious, I had one scrambled egg, cooked to perfection, hash browns, sausage… all very good. I was there with a couple of friends, they each got omelets. Service wad quick, and friendly. Very attentive. Great music from the 1959’s… it was playing in the background. I will return, truly enjoyed everything.“
