“A true hidden gem in Mountain View. We love coming here for our Saturday morning bagel fix. The bagels are made in-house and have a fantastic texture, with some unique flavors like Swiss cheese, spinach, and jalapeño. Their homemade cream cheese is also a must-try. I'm a big fan of their Vietnamese coffee—it's got a unique blend that's unlike anywhere else. The place is simple but spotlessly clean, and the staff always wears masks. Just remember, there's no seating; it's takeout only.“

“I’ve never had a bad sandwich here and the service is friendly and quick! The bagels are fresh and tasty, for cold sandwiches the ingredients are cold, crisp and never stingy. I tend to get the chicken salad sandwich and pizza bagel but their other items are yummy too. Don’t even think of going to Panera! This is much better.“

“I'm so glad to have found this spot in the South Bay. The bagels are charmingly unsymmetrical and have a great chew and nice exterior. For those who like whole wheat bagels and toppings, the sesame wheat bagel is a fantastic option, though I also loved the pumpernickel/rye combo--took some of each to go for later in the week. This time (my second visit in 2 weeks) I had a bagel sandwich with omelette - #19 with avocado and all kinds of vegetable goodies, plus egg & cheese. Yum! I've had NY city bagels freshly made and while these aren't those, I can be happy eating these now. Love that it's not a chain. It's also great to see they're busy. I hope they keep up the great work.“

“Overall this is a decent bagel place that I would have no problem recommending to anyone. Is it fancy? Nope although there is seating outside. They are relatively small and quick and made a great latte to go with my lox bagel. My complaint would be that my bagel was a tad too toasted but I’ll remember that for next time.“

“After reading reviews, I tried their pesto bagel with sun dried tomato cream cheese. It does not disappoint! It elevates the bagel experience to a next level. I tried the garlic herb cream cheese as well. It's decent but the sun dried cream cheese is a clear winner for me!“

“The best place to go for breakfast, lunch and dinner I was one of the first customers when opened up way back in 2007 if I'm not mistaken and I still go when I can. I quality has not changed one bit!!!!! And the owners are amazing!!!!!!!“

“Vegetarian options: I recommend a warmed up Dutch Crunch with 2 slices provolone cheese and "everything" on it if you are vegetarian. If you are not vegetarian, add siced turkey. I come all the way from Monterey and stop here. Best sandwich in the world!“

“When you need a good hearty breakfast to power through your day, it's hard to beat a delicious breakfast bagel. I try to come here at least a couple times a month. They make bagels the right way - boiled and baked. This is one of those places where the staff is busy, but still always has a friendly smile. They wouldn't be busy if people didn't love the food, right? They also have Peerless coffee which is always hot and fresh. They have just about any kind of bagel flavor you could ask for, and many ways to make you a breakfast bagel.“

“This place is one of the best bagel places in town. Their cream cheese is very fresh, bagels are always fresh and yummy and the owners greet you with a smile and fast service. It is also never crowded, so you are in and out in less than 5 mins.“

Fresh tasty bagels of all kinds - never saw a stale bagel here. Coffee is great and the service is matter-of-fact.

As opposed to cloyingly mechanized fake happy served up by Starbucks, this is a place where you get some honest to goodness fix.

Try their parfaits, fresh OJ, and some light salad for lunch. The patio is nice for warmer days.“

“Came in for large coffee and bacon, egg and cheese on plain bagel. Coffee was strong which I like and bagel was a delight: toasted with bacon fried just right( I don't like crisp, crunchy bacon). Bit into a freshly made puffy bagel and took a drink of hot coffee. Simple but very delicioso for me. There are only 2 dine-in customers besides myself. Majority of customers just order takeout. Cost me $10 something for my bagel and coffee. They have breakfast bagels, spread on bagels, bagel sandwiches, espresso drinks, smoothies and milk tea. Convenient location with Safeway, Ross and other businesses in lot. Across the street from Central library.“

“It was a cold winter evening, when my family and I walked into this place. The bagels were amazing. They even heated them up for us. The lady there was so nice, she even let my kids taste the freshly baked donuts. We will definitely come back! 🍩🥹😊♥️“

“Love this local spot! Tasty bagels, fresh cream cheese. Sandwiches come loaded with variety of veggies. I didn’t like the Vietnamese coffee - very sweet. 3 stars for service on an American scale, but Asian standards 5 stars. Don’t expect American customer service where staff exchange cheerful greetings and bend over backwards for the customer. The curt style and language barrier reminds me of the dim sum shops in SF - say what you want and move on. Also pay in cash and you might get a smile :)“

“Where I go to get uplifted. Employees are so nice. I get my favorite drink, Cafe Fresco 24 oz, little conversation, dog biscuits, they let me vent if I've had a bad day. It is so close to home and I feel so calm and happy when I'm there. The chocolate muffins are so good, though the blueberry are better for you and pretty tasty.“

“I ordered two bagel sandwhiches and they weren't bad, but one very noticeable thing was the bacon. Or maybe I should say it wasn't noticeable because that was the WIMPIEST... FLOPPIEST... THINNEST!!! bacon i've ever seen. If you look at the picture where they show bacon on their sandwhiches you can see it is thick and crispy looking, however that is not the bacon I found on my sandwhich.“

“Please ignore the 1 Star review. They think it’s a scam and it’s not. I used TooGoodToGo to purchase pretzel dogs and the deal was 3 pretzel dogs for $9.99. I figured I was going to get day-old pretzel dogs, but they made them fresh and I was floored. I have used Toogoodtogo for other places, and it would either be day-old or some thing they made in the morning that I was picking up in the evening for other places I tried, but Mountain View Pretzel Dog was fresh and the pretzel hotdogs were tasty. I couldn’t believe what a deal I got. Out of all the places I tried in the app, This was the best one. Pretzels are as good as Auntie Anne’s but just not as buttery. I would definitely buy from them again.“

“I went in around the afternoon and was greeted by a very sweet lady. I’m pretty sure she was the owner of the shop. I decided to get the Kona Coffee Frappe and it was amazing, i think the coffee is her specialty :) she also gave my brother and i two tasty donuts. i recommend!“
