“I enjoyed the food and service. This was my second time and we ordered different items each time. Not disappointed at all! My review is mainly because of their courtesy. We had lost our keys and called them enquiring about it. They called up their servers from the previous night and actually called to let us know that they didn’t have it!!!! How nice is that! Just another visit for me to keep going there! Thank you all at Khao Kang 🙏“

“Fourth time here. Food is great, especially the chicken curry and the house special pra ram with peanut sauce .The service is very helpful and friendly. The atmosphere is charming. This is a small, family-owned gem and a local favorite in Saratoga village.“

“Best Thai food since leaving Thailand! We used to live in Sunnyvale and Air and Young were running the place. We became fast friends and we really miss them! Their kids have done a great job with the place and we highly recommend Thai Spoons!!“

“Siam is a wonderful, family run restaurant on El Camino Real in Palo Alto. It became one of our favorite family restaurants during the pandemic shutdown and we still order from there at least once a month (more likely every 2 weeks). My wife and one son are vegan, and there is plenty for them to choose from. She very much likes the Rama made with tofu and extra spicy. The Tom Khar soups (coconut milk) come with chicken or with vegetables and tofu. Curries are extra good. I always end up with a yellow curry (with chicken or seafood or calamari) and red curry with beef.
Moreover the couple that runs it are very friendly and accommodating. Two thumbs way up on this one.“

“I was recommended to this place and I think I found my favorite cozy eats.
The Khao soi was full of savory flavor with a generous serving of chicken on top of huge helping of flat noodles. Paired it with a simple but refreshing Thai iced tea. I needed a happy nap after that.
The vibe was culturally on point with a massive Buddha face, warm bamboo wicker lantern lights, sacred little elephants, and a rainbow of flower decorations.
And the staff were super nice and polite as I tried and maybe struggled with some Thai words.
Recommend getting there right at opening to have a more relaxed and open experience, and also since parking lot is tiny. Can’t wait to go back!“

“This restaurant catered the recent fund raiser for the Cupertino Historical society and the food WAS TO DIE FOR! The best food I’ve ever had at such an event. Standouts were the pineapple rice, the vegetable pastries the chicken satay the pad Thai and cooked chicken on a skewer the desserts were great too - little candied strawberries and tiny slices of an amazing cake. We are staff and we were just swooning over the tastes of everything. I want to take my mom to the restaurant now“

“Today was my second time having lunch here. The first time, I tried a few dishes that were decent—seemingly authentic, though nothing that stood out. This time, I explored a few different items with a colleague and again, they were fair but doesn't quite match up to what you’d find at some of the more well-known Thai spots in the Bay Area.
The location is convenient if you’re around Santa University, and it’s spacious enough for groups. One of the biggest perks is that there’s usually no wait during lunchtime, which makes it ideal if you’re on a break or in a rush.
The service is friendly and efficient. The vibe is casual, with decor that gives it an authentically Thai look. There’s a parking lot nearby, and street parking is usually easy to find.
Overall, it’s not a destination Thai spot—but if you’re in the area and want something quick, affordable, and decent, it gets the job done.“

“Papaya Thai is a Bay Area treasure. My wife and I stumbled upon it while looking for a good place to have lunch after running an errand in Newark. We had Lamb Yellow Curry Stew and Pad Thai with Shrimp. The lamb was perfectly cooked in a rich yellow curry with potatoes and carrots. The meat was as tender as you can possibly imagine. The Pad Thai was mixed with a sweet sauce that was slightly sticky, which I like so the noodles adhere to each other. I don’t know if this is traditional, but really like Pad Thai like that.“

“This is probably one of my new favorite thai places in the bay area! I went here with a friend and an acquaintance, and left with two and a half friends! There is both indoor and outdoors seating, and the servers are so friendly and nice. He overheard us discussing what to get and recommended the Pumpkin Curry and told us it’s definitely sharing size. We decided to get it and omg. I’m usually a pad see ew girlie but maybe I should convert. The pumpkin was so soft and sweet, and the portion size was MASSIVE. 🎃
They put a good amount of chicken, and the other waiter even told us to order less rice. Theyre really told us how to oder perfectly! I will be coming back again, I have to put everyone else on this. Yumyumyum!!!!“

“Went there for the first time during lunch time. It wasn't at all crowded. Even though there was only one server, she was very nice and attentive.
I have tried Pad See Ew at many Thai restaurants in the area and I would say this is the best in town. However, I ordered medium spicy and it came out spicer than I expected. So be mindful about that.
Can't wait to come back to try other dishes.“

“We are vegetarian, and we had such a great meal! They modified the yellow chicken curry with tofu, and they were nice enough to clarify with us that we didn't want fish sauce!
It was really tasty. The flavors were there. Give this place a chance. It's often missed in PA, but we'll be coming back again for the awesome food!“

“I tried the Tom Kha Veg Soup, Roti Panang, Pad See Ew, and Dusita’s House Fried Rice — every dish was absolutely delicious! 🤩The Tom Kha Soup was the real highlight — rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. I’d say this is one of the best Thai restaurants in the Bay Area. The food, flavors, and overall experience were amazing. I’ll definitely be coming back!😋“

“Location is a local food hall made of around 4 businesses.
Today stopped in to try their burgers. The company is called “Revival state burgers”.
decided to go with the OKC
- 2 patties
- potato bun
- grilled onions
- American cheese
- creamy garlic aioli
- Dijon mustard
It’s hard to not be bomb with that line up of ingredients. size wise it resembles the portion of a “double double” just minus the veggies. I know this isn’t a “smash burger” a little but of crisp/caramelization would take this over the top. Solid solid solid burger. Would come back for it.
Other things to consider, I have had the Ube latte from the coffee shop. That’s great also.
Worth a check out.“
