“The pho is amazing. Keep trying other places and this is the best! But they never check on me or ask me for anything and while I was checking out the lady/owner stood there to see what I would tip. Just really rude behavior for poor service.“

“Great combo beef Phô (all the good stuff, including tripe and tendon), a large amount of meat, plus your choice of noodles... I got egg noodles and loved it.
Served in under 5 minutes...
... Huge bowl, delicious ? broth.
Considering how expensive going out to eat is today, this is the best phô deal around.
I highly recommend this restaurant... It deserves a higher score on Google.“

“Discovered this gem while searching for a bite to eat after a quick stop at UPS. The experience was a pleasant surprise! The Pho was like a warm hug on a cold day—richly flavorful, generously portioned, and absolutely satisfying. They also offer free water and your choice of warm or cold tea, which adds a nice touch. Plus, there’s no mandatory tip, making it feel even more welcoming. An awesome find that I’ll definitely be returning to!“

“Been supporting this place most of my teens and college years, I recommend this place to anyone looking for a lot of variety such as , pho , Banh Mi , snacks , drinks and anyone looking for ready to go food. Come early sometimes lines can be long. Expect delays too , sometimes they are short staff and get help from security which really is a great help to them.“

“Pho & Bun is hands down one of the best spots for Vietnamese comfort food in San Jose. I've been here a few times now, and it never disappoints. The pho broth is rich and aromatic you can tell it's been simmered for hours. I usually go for the rare steak and brisket combo, and it's always served hot, fresh, and packed with flavor.
Their bun dishes are also a standout! The grilled pork is tender and perfectly seasoned, and the veggies are crisp and fresh. Portions are generous, and everything is plated beautifully.
The service is consistently friendly and quick, and the space is clean and welcoming great for both solo meals or a casual lunch with friends. Prices are reasonable for the quality, and they never skimp on ingredients.
Definitely my go-to spot for a hearty bowl of pho. Highly recommend if you're craving something warm and delicious in the South Bay!“

“Our fave local Bahn Mi spot. If you're in Union City and craving for a Bahn mi, come here. There's eleven sandwich choices. There's a steam table with other hot foods like egg rolls, noodles, Sesame balls with mung bean. They also make fresh spring rolls, yogurt, various desserts and lots of drink choices. Try it, you be happy you did. And of course, support a small business!“

“Been coming here since they opened up. Bahn Mi’s have almost been a must get, and the pho is absolutely the best in town. Their Vietnamese coffee will out an energy drink in its place. Love getting a combo rice plate during the summer and the salad is also so crisp and refreshing.
Service staff here is unbeatable and always remembers their regulars.“

“We went for dinner on a Friday and there was no wait.
We got the Veggie Spring rolls for appetizer - The peanut sauce and the hot suace were great accompaniments.
We wanted to try the Vegetarian Banh Mi but unfortunately they had run out.
We ended up ordering the Pho Chay - Which was served warm and the broth had a really nice umami flavor (a bit on the salty side though). We also got the Bun Chay - Which was alright - It was very similar to the Pho Chay minus the tasty broth.
The surprise of the day was the Sugarcane Juice with Kumquat - It tasted great!!Quantity for price was questionable as it was just filled with ice but the drink tasted great FWIW.
Very generous portions for the entrees and we had leftovers enough for another meal for two.“

“This place is one of my favorites whenever I crave for phoa. However in my recent visit my order for phoa has some basil leaves that have some insect bites in them and they were not welded out when served with my order. I complained to the server but he mere said sorry and not change the basil served to me. I hope they will be more careful in serving fresh veggies to customers.“

“Fantastic experience at this small quaint mom-and-pop kinda place. The manager/server was kind enough to accommodate all our requests. The taro ube tea (without caffeine) was out of the world! Loved the pad thai, banh-mi, papaya salad too. We will be back again to try the other things on the menu.“

“This place is a neighborhood gem! We keep coming back to Pho Avenue for its wonderfully fresh and flavorful food in a relaxed, casual setting. The staff is always so welcoming (Vin, in particular, is great!), which makes every visit a pleasure.
A huge plus is their dedicated vegetarian menu section, with plenty of delicious and vegan-friendly choices. My go-to order is the #17 Vermicelli Noodle with Tofu. Pro tip: For a little extra, I swap the fried egg roll for their amazing vegetarian summer rolls.
If you’re craving something more spicy, try the #16. White Rice - Chilli Lemongrass Tofu Spicy.
Just a heads-up: parking in the area can be tricky during peak lunch times, but it's always been worth the effort for us. Highly recommend!“

“Been here a lot (like once every couple weeks) as I used to work close by before the pandemic. Now after the pandemic, this place is still great.
It's clean. The food and service is good. People who work here speak English well and don't mess up the order with minor changes (unlike many other Vietnamese restaurants that you can tell they don't understand the order well and the food don't come out right).
Thumbs up👍“

“My favorites are always the #1 and #2, the best jumbo prawn noodle soup in the Bay Area.
I haven't been eating lunch at Pho Queen for quite a while. It was still clean and bright inside. I was lucky to be seated right away (it took me 30 minutes on my last visit) To my surprise, they still maintain the good services and high quantity of food. The price has gone up to $20 for large bowl of #2. Service was simple, polite and quick. I received my bowl of noodle soup within 5 minutes. As always, the chicken broth is steaming hot and flavorful, with the aroma of garlic, onion, jalapeno, and basil.“

“Reliably some of the best food in the bay, always make a point to try to go if I’m near Milpitas. Favorite type of Vietnamese food. Their beef rolls are delicious but also if you have a big enough group their entire roasted fish is out of this world.“

“I love the broth!!!! I can tell that you must have braised the broth forever since the broth was so good. I was busy each time my husband wanted to take me so I asked him to buy to go. OMG a I opened the door coming home to smell Pho all over my home. It felt as if I was at the restaurant. The aroma was pho-Ing good!!! The meat was pho-tastic.and I love the huge volume of onions and fresh tasking ginger in every bite. If you love pho or if you love noodles or if you love food, then you must visit this Pho Thin Ha Noi - pho-ing good.“

“Today, we went to shopping at Great Mall. By lucky, we trained Pho Kim Long, 金龙, a Vietnamese–Chinese restaurant chain best known for its flavorful pho and broad menu. It has notable locations in both San Jose, CA and Las Vegas, NV—each with its own character.
I would recommend this one as the Best pho spot I’ve been. The food has been consistent
In addition to Pho, their double paned fried noodles with very rich seafood and source, lots verges, is very good.“

“The food here was phenomenal!! Our order was taken by the restaurant grandpa, and he was the sweetest. He literally walks away, and two minutes later, our food is at our table. The broth was delicious. Some of the best we have had around this area. And then best part is, it was affordable.“

“Good stuff. Try the fried chicken leg meal. For 14.99 you get rice, a fried egg, a whole fried chicken leg, some pickles and lettuce, a large egg roll and a small bowl of broth. The chicken was cooked nicely and everything tasted great.
The chicken is cooked to order.
This is the Chinese Vietnamese version of Jollibee, but it tastes better.
The waitresses were attentive and friendly
Will will return.“

“I ordered three sandwiches (#3 5-Spice pork and #1 Cold Cut + Pate) and one Thai tea, which totaled $46. While it may be off-putting as it is more expensive than the sandwiches in Century Mall, San Jose, though, to be fair, the higher pricing could be due to location, inflation, etc.Food: The sandwich bread is not fluffy or airy like at Duc Huong Sandwiches; it is the type that needs to be eaten right away, as it is hard. As for the meat, it tastes good. Other things to note are that the pickled veggies are a thicker slice, and the taste is very subtle and clean compared to what I'm used to eating. I don't exactly need to worry about the bread getting soggy or have to ask to put the veggies separately. If this is your preference, this could be your next favorite sandwich shop. As for the drink, I wish it were stronger.Service & Cleanliness: Inside the store, it was tidied and not busy (at least on Friday at 4 p.m.). It is a nice place to purchase food to go quickly. They are available on Uber Eats; you can order by speaking with the cashier or using the iPad. The service was excellent, as they even offered to help, which was nice. I would not mind coming back here again.“

“The best pho / Vietnamese place in the area. We stumbled upon this cute place en route home and loved the food. Super quick service, fresh delicious food, polite, caring host & server who took her time to explain the dishes. Even though we entered to sit & eat right at about closing time, service was amazing!
Vegetarian options: Not too many vegetarian options“

“Decent, if not generic, place for Vietnamese food. I had the pork chop with broken rice and it was pretty good. The restaurant itself looks pretty rundown, however, with a lot of the decor being leftover pieces from the thai restaurant that occupied this space several years prior to Pho Lan. The ceiling also has a lot of visible mildew and sealant or something spread around that makes it look like it's in the process of being renovated, and the overall atmosphere is slightly dull. Other than that, however, it's quite clean. Staff was super friendly, however, and service was fast since there was only one other person other than myself there at the time as it was a weekday. Overall, it's worth checking out if you're in the area and are craving Vietnamese food.“

“The best bahn mi ever.
This is one of the few restaurants that sell grilled beef bahn mi . Absolutely delicious!!!
Their tofu bahn mi is also high on my list!!!
Not only does this restaurant make bahn mi, but they offer hot entrees, like noodle soup and rice dishes.
The eggrolls are delicious.
There is seating for about 20 people.
Canned drinks and juices are available, as
Are freshly made smoothies and boba tea..
Oh yeah, and the prices for the bahn mi are incredible. $6.00- $7.50 depending on what you order.
Service is fast.. atmosphere - okay.
More like a hole- in- the - wall restaurant, but a memorable hole- in - the- wall!!!“

“Summary: Quick fast food Vietnamese food.
We ordered online and went to pick up. Food was not quite ready but staff were polite and rush it for me.
It was unfortunate they forgot our fish sauce and we couldn’t return to get it. So the overall meal felt incomplete. 🤨
It is running a special this week. $10 of $20 spending. Auto applied via the website.“

“Stanford in campus counter style cafe offering a blend of Southeast Asian flavours. One has to lower expectations given that this is within the university and caters to a diverse set of diners, so the tastes are milder vs the local Asian staples. A good representation nonetheless of Asian cuisine. The dining area is soley outdoors but relatively clean and provides a good campus spot to have ones meal and to meet up. No toilets available.
Vegetarian options: Counter style gives you options but ask servers on specific ingredients used
Parking: Stanford University parking system in effect while free parking lots are further situated with the use of free shuttles
Kid-friendliness: Ample options for kid's tastes
Wheelchair accessibility: Spacious seating outdoors but ordering has to be done by counter“

“I want to come back. As a Vietnamese, Im a bit picky with my banh mi but this place is solid. I see what others mean about slower service but once I got the sandwich I can clearly see they didnt rush to make it and grill it. Make sure to eat it while its hot! Their “che dessert” was incredible.
Their spring roll was ok but their banh mi was incredible“

“It was good but not great. I have had better pho but I’ve definitely had worse pho. The prices are quite steep ($19-$20 for a large bowl). They are quite generous with noodle and meat portions though. Service is very quick! You pay at the register. I still think you would get more bang for your buck at a local pho place in SJ/Little Saigon and a better meal too.“

“A quiet little corner of this lot lies a treasure trove of pho like none other. The silk smooth noodles the thin-strips of beef, the green onions cilantro, bean sprouts perfect. The beef broth alone is the perfect savory goodness that recharges a body good after a long, exhausting day. The staff were charming and friendly! It's worth your hard earned money for an amazing bowl of pho.“
