“We made a lunch reservation for a party of 9 on a Saturday for a birthday celebration. We were seated immediately at a large round table outside with a beautiful view of the lake. The service is fantastic. The wait staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Since it was a weekend we were able to order from either the lunch menu or brunch menu so there were tons of options. I had the grilled salmon which was cooked perfectly. My husband had the steak frites which he really liked. He said it was a nice tender cut of beef. Our group also had the chicken parmesan and some breakfast/brunch items which they all enjoyed. They have a very large outdoor seating area and it’s nice sitting outside with the lake. Very nice weekend brunch vibe. I was pleasantly surprised by the price point since most brunch spots can be way overpriced. They served their signature Baked Alaska as a free dessert for the birthday girl which was really cool since it’s served flambéd. I really enjoyed Boccaccio’s and will definitely be back to try their dinner items.“

But the highlight was absolutely our waiter, Marcus (If that’s how you spell it). He was incredibly attentive, very accommodating, And had a smile on his face the whole night. So was the Chicken Marssla w/mash and Grilled Salmon w/risotto. But the Grilled Rack of Lamb w/mash and the Chilean Bass w/risotto were just unbelievable!! We will definitely go back!“

Usually the salmon with vegetables and a side of pasta is a perfect combination and every bite is outstanding. The salmon was perfectly seared on the outside while remaining moist and tender inside, with just the right hint of seasoning and citrus. The vegetables were fresh, lightly sautéed, and had great texture—clearly not an afterthought. As for the pasta? Cooked al dente, rich in flavor, and coated with a savory sauce that hit all the right notes. Everything felt homemade, not mass-produced.

The atmosphere was relaxed and warm, with attentive service that made the meal even more enjoyable. This place is a hidden gem for Italian food lovers in Simi Valley, and I definitely love to be there to try more dishes.

“Had a great dinner at Ameci with a friend! We ordered the largest pepperoni & Canadian bacon pizza plus a cheeseburger with fries—everything was delicious. Took leftovers and some chocolate mousse home, and her family loved it too.

Shoutout to Max for making the experience even better. He was training a new team member, juggling delivery calls, helping customers, and still stayed calm, patient, and super kind the whole time. He puts in the level of effort that definitely deserves recognition and I hope is valued the way it should be!

“Breakfast at Tony’s is so good! We had eggs Benedict with the home fried potatoes and the eggs Florentine with hash browns. Both were delicious. The Benedict sauce was so good with a hint of sweet, maybe from the ham ? The potatoes were so good and done perfectly with onions and peppers. A perfect combination. Honestly, I was shook away when the bread was homemade, sandwich was amazing! The wings I got normal but you are able to get them well done. So happy I found this place and will definitely be coming back here.“
