“Dominick's Italian Restaurant is a wonderful place for "traditional" Italian food. Nothing pretentious here - just a comfortable and clean dining room, great food served in large portions, and friendly staff providing attentive service to your party. The minestrone soup and chicken parmigiana that I had were both delicious, and the bites that I sampled from my wife's order of Bolognese were truly on par with the best that I've had. The pizzas are huge - probably large enough to feed 4 adults - so order accordingly. I should also mention that the manager was kind enough to bring over a complimentary glass of wine in honor of my wife's birthday, and later provided a complimentary dessert for the occasion. At some point, I would like to try some food from their deli (which is connected to the restaurant) since I have heard positive things. Based on my experience, I would definitely recommend Dominick's to those looking for an enjoyable and casual place to enjoy some tasty Italian fare.“

“Great substitute for the now terrible Tres Pazzi! Recommend the beef ravioli with meat sauce, chx Parm, rigatoni w/creamy prosciutto and the seafood pasta. All very good. Also the free bread at the table was good garlic bread! I didn't love the cannoli for dessert. But generally a great dinner.“

“My family stopped here for lunch one day as we were driving through Rocklin. We didn’t know much about the store let alone the cafe. Boy were we pleasantly surprised. We all had some type of sandwich and they were delicious and huge! Our server was also extremely pleasant and anticipated our needs. What a great place!“

“Last minute dinner decision. I wanted an option without pasta and ended up with the salmon and broccoli, and it was cooked very well and tasty. More importantly, the service was on point! Oscar was engaging and attentive! We also tried the new chocolate lasagna dessert.I highly recommend it.“

“I didn't give a 5 star on food just because I only had appetizers. I highly recommend the brie and bread and the fried zucchini. The appetizers were big, and I had a ton of zucchini. My husband did get the French dip. He said it was ok. Service was great and liked the chill atmosphere. I will definitely be going back.“

“We've eaten at Buca's many times but this was the first time I've tried the Brussels sprouts. It won't be my last. They were cooked to perfection - nice and crunchy. The prosciutto added just the right flavor to the already very tasty vegetable dish. I had the antipasti salad and my husband had the spaghetti with meat sauce and a side of sausages. He asked that the sausages be cut up on top but they were not. They brought him a knife, but it was a bit of a messy process. Everything was very good, as usual. Our only complaint is that they only serve family style meals, which makes it very pricey for a family of two. Of course we had lots of leftovers, but by the next day the salad is pretty wilted and the Brussels sprouts quite mushy. We'll wait to go again when we have family visiting that we can take with us. We'd also be able to try more of the food that way too. The place was probably not even half full, which is unusual for 6 PM on a Friday night. Maybe their prices are keeping others away too?“

The party room we had was so comfortable with the big hearth fireplace in the room. There was plenty of space for us all and we were thoroughly blessed by our time together there!!!? “

“I ordered the pan combo thick crush. The pizza was extremely hot. The pizza had a really good flavor. The pizza would have been perfect, just the dough seemed to have not cooked enough for my liking. Kind of doughy just a little and could have had just more sauce. The toppings were falling off the pizza a little more than expected but overall. I enjoyed it. 5 star! Very good!“

“Pretty much the best experience I've had in a very long time at any establishment. The food was amazing! I love the pizza. My lady loves the wings. My dog loves the atmosphere. The service was top tier. Places like these are the best! Thank you!“
“Lovely little hole in the wall. Literally my only criticism was trying to find it in the dark. I had the penne al samone which was so delicious with generous portions. The waitress was helpful and attentive. I don't give 5 stars often but this place deserves it.“

“Wow! An unexpected find! While we love the dining experience and the friendly atmosphere, I never expected pizza to go. The crust was firm enough to hold the delicious ingredients but just soft enough to bite through. The Rubino's Special with a drizzle of balsamic and arugula is will make your taste buds tingle. With ample mozzarella the traditional pepperoni could benefit from more meat per slice. Next time I will enjoy it at the huge and friendly bar! Henry & Chris have done it again.“

“We didn't feel rushed, the food was amazing and the service was great. We will definitely be back. It was great to get to eat Italian food that could still be gluten free. I loved all their veg.Vegetarian options: There are several choices for vegetarian options and it is labeled on the menu.Dietary restrictions: They have a specific gluten free menu upon request. There were a lot of choices, including appetizers, main courses and even dessert. We will have to go again on our way home to try the things we missed on our first visit.“

My gf got the casarecce alla norcina! We both enjoyed our meals! They were both small servings but really filling. Would def be back!“

“I love your pizza. the staff was very kind, allowed me to sit until the end of the working day in the restaurant (I was waiting for my husband) and even offered to put my pizza in the oven so that it would not get cold while I was waiting. I really appreciate it!I didn’t have time to take a photo - we ate your delicious pizza so quickly. Next time I will definitely do it!“

“We got the chicken Piccata two orders for the cost of one. Two small Bibb and Blue salads and brought our own bottle of wine for $10 corkage fee. With +20% tip total cost was only $30 per person. Pretty reasonable these days. And good service as always.“

“Went on a Wednesday night, party of two and got seated right away indoors. Great, quaint and dimly lit restaurant with some decent old jazz music and Dean Martin going on in the background. Servers kept re-upping their freshly made bread with balsamic/olive oil dip which is essential for an Italian restaurant and a great touch. Enjoyed some good wine, linguine & clam and spaghetti dishes which were excellent. Only thing I wish they would start doing is putting small candles or lamps at your table, can get a little dark in there. We'll definitely go again.“
