“I tried Haesintang for the first time, and it was such a revitalizing experience that I can confidently say this will now be my go-to nourishing dish. The flavors were vibrant and energizing, truly awakening both my senses and appetite.

The generous combination of octopus, abalone, short ribs, chicken, and mushrooms was impressive from the moment it arrived. Each ingredient tasted exceptionally fresh. The octopus was tender and pleasantly chewy, the abalone delicately cooked, and the short ribs and chicken were simmered until the meat fell effortlessly off the bone.

What stood out most was the broth. Rather than relying on heavy seasoning, it seemed to be crafted from natural ingredients, creating a deep yet clean flavor that beautifully tied everything together from start to finish.

The staff were warm and attentive, kindly refilling side dishes throughout the meal.

The highlight came at the end — rice cooked in the remaining broth to create a rich, comforting porridge. Even though I was already full, I couldn’t stop eating. Paired with crisp kimchi, it was the perfect finish. Despite the generous portions, the meal felt wholesome and easy to digest.

“Food was pretty good and the service was great. We went around noon on a weekday and it wasn't busy at all. Our food came out quick and hot.
We got the tteokbokki with fried squid and another order with beef brisket. I ordered mine spicy and my wife wanted mild but we couldn't tell the difference between the two. The spice level wasn't too hot for me (I like it really spicy) but my wife thought hers was too hot.
I also had the soondae, which was pretty good. The skin around it was a bit crunchy for me but some may prefer it that way.“

“This was my first time visiting I Can BBQ, a Korean all-you-can-eat BBQ restaurant. The location is great, the restaurant is very clean, and the interior design is really nice. “This has been my go to flame broiler for the last year, I’ve always had a wonderful experience specially when Ashley is there! Ashley gives great customer service, though a little shy at first she is very sweet and polite. As soon as I get through the door she is so welcoming. Looking at the most recent review I hope that is not the reason why she will no longer be working here, knowing Ash for the last year there is no way that review can be about her and I am so sad to hear she will no longer be working here, she was a bright light to this establishment :(
Also, the person who posted the one star review about horrible customer service leaves one star reviews everywhere she goes. I have received nothing but great customer service here, but maybe it’s time I go somewhere else.“

“Food seems to be always fresh and customer service is great. I usually ask for extra rice because I love the rice much more than the meat. I'm not a meat lover because I've had problems with my bite but the rice is so on point with teriyaki sauce and green onion. I miss the orange pieces that they used to serve when they first opened in the city of orange off Chapman/ prospect Blvd in 2011 next to stater brother but that okay nothing stay the same forever. “Tried 무봉리&순대국 （Moobongri Soondae） at the H Mart food hall, a well-known Korean chain with 30+ years in Korea and many of U.S. locations (CA, Vegas, Texas, Denver, Chicago, Oakland… they’re everywhere).

Their specialty is soondae soup (Korean blood sausage stew). I’ve only tried soondae once in my life when I was living in Seoul and honestly was traumatized by the iron/bloody taste so I didn’t dare order it again.

I went for the spicy stir-fried squid instead. Flavor was good and pretty authentic, but definitely on the spicy side though - perfect with beer/drinks and rice.
Side dishes tasted good, too.

The cashier was friendly!

Overall, the taste feels very Korean and true to the original chain. Worth trying if you’re exploring classic Korean comfort food!“

Real Thai and Korean Corn Dogs is hands down one of my favorite spots in Huntington Beach! From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with warm, friendly service — and a special shoutout to Jaden, who made the entire experience even better. Super attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind — you can tell he really cares about the customers and takes pride in what he does.

Now, let’s talk food. The Pad Thai is absolutely perfect — packed with flavor, the noodles are cooked just right, and the balance of sweet, savory, and a little tang is exactly what you’d hope for. BUT!!! Burning X's LA Galbi, is absolutely delicious. I am soooo in LOVE. To the point we stopped eating the marinated boneless short rib, rib finger, wagyu beef belly, premium short ribs, pork jowls and just focused on LA Galbi with the 3 bones. We order 5 orders. It comes in a set of two. It really has a great balance of flavor not being too salty or sweet or bland and the tenderness, amazing . Honestly all the pieces were excellent!

Next time, I'm gonna ignore all the meats and just get the LA Galbi Short Rib ( with the bones)!!!
