“Met up with people here and the name of the place fit. We couldn’t tell if it was New Orleans or Hawaii. Fountains, plants, shabby shiek iron and planks. Most seating is outdoors but shrouded with canopy of treetops and telephone poles.Eric was out waiter and he was all over it and took great care of us.Food was pretty good, can’t wait for a Sunday brunch w mimosas and a big plate of eggs, pancakes and crab cakes.“
“Love the trivia night on Tuesdays! It starts at 8pm but make sure to arrive early or it’s unlikely to get your group seated.I also appreciate the “order your own” QR code ordering system. Drinks and food come up fast and easy to pay for yourself.Parking is easy since it’s located in a big plaza.“
“Great place, great prices, great food and great drinks. New favorite for me. I’m not a big fan of loud bars or restaurants as I prefer having a conversation without screaming. So my experience here was a breath of fresh air as it was nice and quiet with background music being just that… background music. “Their food is great. The molcajete can be shared between three that's how big I felt it was. Their drinks are delicious I got one drink it came in a coconut it was sweet and creamy it had so much juice they had to bring it in a separate cup. Their micheladas preparadas are good too they put shrimp around it. Crispy crust, tomatoey, not pastey sauce and fantastic thick pepperoni. Sausage with a kick. Other pizzas I leave the crust but Ozzy's is maybe the best part. Cocktails are on point.“

“Came to dinner at Otium post a Sunday concert at the Walt Disney Concert Hall (WDCH) with friends who suggested Otium as our dinner stop and reserved. From the word welcome to Otin, as we walked in the experience was sublime. The seating just outside of the kitchen was amazing to watch. Our server was on point and all the support staff as well. We started our meal with 12 oysters, moved to the Pea Ravioli, then added some Naan bread (so delicious), then moved on to the main of the pork chop with potatoes and cauliflower sides. Finished with the best pineapple upside down cake I have ever had and this will go down as the best dinner I have had in Los Angeles bar none, combined with the ambiance and service, you all knocked it out of the park.“

We had THE best server, Drew who was adorable and made great recommendations for food and wine as it was our first time. “It's called the Hideaway which explains its atmosphere it's in a canyon.. Kegal Cyn in Sylmar to be exact & people literally ride their horses to this bar.. it's been around forever & I'd say it's a mixture of rock & country & the crowd are the usuals who always come here & the crowd is very friendly!!“

“I love the concept of Nandarang and I feel like Koreatown should have more places like this!Looking for a fun spot to hang out at in Koreatown that wasn't a bar or KBBQ on a Saturday evening, we decided to give Nandarang a try, since it was described as being a gastropub with Korean comfort/pub grub style food.It's very spacious inside with plenty of tables. I was a little disappointed to see that there were only a few other people there - I hope that it was just that day, as this place deserves a lot more attention!!Service was attentive and friendly, and we quickly had our food and drink orders being brought out.I loved everything we got!There's more traditional grub like mozzarella sticks that tasted cheesy and delicious, as well as items with Korean twists to them, such as a Kimchi Shrimp Pasta that I LOVED.Seriously though, that Kimchi Pasta is now at the top of my list for favorite pastas in LA - unique, flavorful, creamy, spicy but not too much....it's SO good!Korean staples such as the corn cheese were similarly creamy, delicious, and delectably enjoyable.Paired with some hot sake and we had a wonderful evening and meal!I loved my visit to Nandarang and would love to go back!
