“We made reservations for a bday. Table was ready upon arrival. Edgar was out server, he was very knowledgeable, patient and hospitable. The drink menu is extensive, Edgar knew all the drinks, what to expect and his recommendation. Ambience is great, definitely makes you feel in the moment. Main entree options are limited, but we all enjoyed the food. Everyone was service oriented, no matter who we encountered they were willing to assist. Our entire party dressed in theme, it was a vibe.”

“My second time visiting this great establishment. Once again, the pizza and all that they serve is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! I had some caprese , burata, Fior Di Latte and the Vespa Pizza along with a Limonata Rosa. Our Service Yadira was amazing and very attentive. She was very helpful with any questions we had. “Dont sleep on Little Billy!! This place lives up to the star rating in the reviews! Yes you gotta wait to get in, but wait is worth it! Last sunday (in the rain, mind you), I waited 30 min to get in and with my family we got breakfast burritos, blueberry pancakes, and the spicy tuna wrap. EVERYTHING was delicious, the service was attentive and pleasant, the main dude handling front of house was on top of his stuff. An amazing place to eat either inside or order to go, but definitely eat there because everything comes out fresh and hot! Our compliments to the chef and the dude up front! 🤌”

“Had the best food at Smoke Queen Barbecue: the tri tip, chicken, sausage, ribs, and delicious sides were all fall off the bone fantastic. Try the sesame slaw with spicy cucumbers, macaroni and cheese and fries. We loved the banana pudding, bread pudding, beers on tap, all with a great smile and playground to enjoy with our family. If you haven’t tried Smoke Queen Barbecue, you are missing out. So scrumptious!”

“Great restaurant with a small, family feel. The food is amazing, and honestly at a steal of a price; the food is half as expensive and more than twice as delicious as other restaurants I've been to. I had the quatrro formaggio because I noticed gorgonzola on the ingredients list, and I loved every single bite! It was so nice to have a dish that put the gorgonzola flavor front-and-center, and the cream sauce was somehow light while still being packed full of flavor.
My wife had the lasagna, and it's easy to see why it's a favorite here. It cem out with the sauce still bubbling, and once she could dig in she described it as lightly sweet, a welcome change from some overly-acidic dishes at some other places.
The service was also impeccable, the staff was very friendly and welcoming and we felt very well attended-to. We came in about an hour or so before closing so there weren't many other customers, and we got our food impressively quickly.
Another note, if you are staying at any of the nearby hotels (specifically the row of hotels on Lake Center Drive) then this restaurant is extremely close, easily walkable if you want. It would make a convenient, delicious, and good-valued addition to your vacation.”

“We had a great dining experience at Urban Plates in Long Beach. Mariana explained the menu choices in a very unrushed manner, and we decided on the steak. I ordered the Chimichurri grass-fed steak with balsamic brussel sprouts and herb-roasted potatoes. All of it was delicious ( and healthy too!). The deserts were absolutely killer too. We will definitely eat here again next time we're in Long Beach.”
