“I've been coming here for the past 25+ years. This place has the best tacos and Mexican food in the area hands down. I personally like the hurache and the quesedilla Hecha a Mano. Get the spicy salsa and your meat of choice. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu here. Fresh and authentic is what you'll get everytime.“

“They specialize in Gorditas and they definitely make a quality Gordita. Super flavorful, the salsa reminds me of the one my mom makes. They have tons of options too, vegetarian (rajas con queso), pescatarian (shrimp and papas), etc. The chorizo and papas and the chile verde were delicious. Love that their chicharrón is a combination of meat, chicharrón, and buche. Highly recommend, just keep in mind if that area is busy especially from the nearby brewery parking is a hassle. Calling ahead would be advised as well since everything is made fresh and takes awhile.

Parking: Was difficult finding parking on the weekend. So keep that in mind.“

“Angel Catering has the best Korean food in Southern California from individual lunches for companies, home parties, birthdays, and weddings. The food is so authentic. No msg and the food is top knoch and great. The services I had from them were all excellent. They delivered food to Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego for me. This company is so awesome.“

The sales and planning coordination team were exemplary, especially David and Tamica, who were consistently responsive through email and communication.The venue itself is stunning, and May proved to be the perfect time for a wedding. We chose Wedgewood Rio Hondo primarily due to its convenient location and its nearly all-in-one solution. While I had to handle many wedding details myself, the ability to choose from a selection of vendors within a single package was a significant advantage.David, our coordinator, was exceptional. He made the entire process stress-free and even assisted with my bridal veil hair accessory, which was a thoughtful touch.The only slight downside was the reception. “I've tried just about everything on the menu at Shady Grove Foods and nothing disappoints. I can close my eyes and put my finger on the menu and I would be happy wherever it landed. I had Sticky Bones again tonight and I'm as thrilled as the first time I tried them and all the other times I've had them and in fact I feel like tonight's were the best ever. I seriously enjoy their food and hospitality. The hardest part is driving back to Cal Heights without opening the box and start eating. Compliments to the whole staff and guys cooking it up in the back. It's about to get even better real soon. I can't wait. Stay tuned. . . .“

“My friend and I heard about a special type of chili Relleño that was topped with a walnut sauce and pomegranate seeds. It is called chili en nogada. They have it here, and it was spectacular. The special ingredients compliment each other. The staff were all so pleasant and helpful. We sat outside where they have a beautiful garden with fruit trees. including pomegranate, passion, and avocados. I've added a picture of the chili cut in half. Must try!“
