“I am working in Long Beach and couldn’t decide what to eat. I saw this place on DoorDash and saw the food reviews I wanted to give it a try. Let me start by saying that I loved the chicken fried rice. I have a new spot for chicken fried rice and it tastes better than Tokyo Hibachi in Lakewood to me and the price is great. I got me some extra garlic butter and no extra fee. The taste is amazing. Wow. Just wow.“

The pizza, pasta and salad were absolutely delicious, they arrived on time for set up (they were early, actually) and their food presentation was perfect! “I don't even know where to start. Our biggest reservation with having a wedding was initially thinking about how much we'd have to spend upfront. Wedgewood made it simple by breaking it up into payments leading up to the wedding day. Thankfully, we got a headstart and planned 18 months ahead. So the payment plan per se, was much more doable once it was laid out!

From our initial conversation with the venue to the final days leading up to the wedding, Rio Hondo made it so easy for us. The planning was essentially laid out step by step and easy to navigate through the online portal! The reminders were within reason, the checklist was helpful, and the admin staff were accomodating.

We decided to get the third tiered package with the venue. The package came with a day-of wedding coordinator, buffet styled dinner, a DJ and MC, a photobooth, top-shelf and open bar, a floral centerpiece for each of our tables, and a few other things including a smooth planning schedule.

Rio Hondo - thank you for making our wedding experience such a breeze! Laura and I both had so much fun. We really didn't feel like we stressed about anything.

Tamica was our day-of coordinator, Nestor was our banquet captain, and Dustin was our DJ and MC. Tamica, thank you for being so present and attentive to our needs. From bringing us water to helping us fix our appearances as the day went on, and everything else in between. It was a fun experience sharing our plans with you. Thank you for helping us bring them to life! Nestor, you and your kitchen staff did an amazing job with the food and appetizers. We had so many compliments on the food. Many of our guests were happily surprised and satisfied. I keep thinking about the mac and cheese croquettes, the chicken with sherry cream, and the salmon. YUM! Dustin, you rock so much. Laura and I were type-A personalities when it came to the song selections, our grand entrance, the surprises, and the Labubu tosses. Thank you for working with us to make it happen!!

“I celebrated my 60th birthday few weeks ago and I can’t recommended it enough. Great location, beautiful inside, outside area is very clean, plenty of parking and very private. The food was great and believe me you will not be disappointed. The staff was very nice and easy to work with in particular the two ladies that worked with me and help me to put together my party in a short period of time, Roberta and Sandra….Roberta in particular has a good sense when it comes to ideas to decorate… you just need to tell her what theme you want for your party and she make sure that everything goes accordingly to your taste. She listened and within your ideas and her inputs I can guarantee you that everything will come out BEAUTIFUL. My theme was “Havana Night “ and everything came out better than I expected…So if you look for a place to have fun and created memories that will last forever, I would highly recommended this place !!“

The food was absolutely delicious, authentic, and packed with incredible Indian flavors. Every dish we tried was fresh, flavorful, and prepared with great attention to quality. The overall experience was excellent, from the food to the warm and friendly service.

The hospitality was genuinely welcoming, and the restaurant has a great atmosphere to enjoy a good meal with family and friends.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic and delicious Indian cuisine. Definitely a place I would love to visit again!

“I was looking for a good taco place and I came across Covyd Tacos on Yelp and decided to try them. Unaware that they were just serving on tables under a shade during the evenings, I gave them a try and ordered asada and cabeza burritos. I became a regular after that night and they practically knew me by name. Their burritos are very delicious and their servings are generous. They also had quesadillas, and a variety of tacos. They also have Al Pastor which is really tasty. They do not accept credit cards but they accept Venmo payments. I now miss their tacos and burritos since I was only in La Puente for 5 weeks but would be their customer again if I go back to La Puente, California again.“

“I cannot say enough good things about Basil Pizza Bar. First and foremost, the pizza and all the food was great! I am something of a pizza snob, and this was really wonderful. Pastas, salads, appetizers.....all wonderful. Now for the staff: Landro, Garrett and Giorgio were the best! They set up in our limited space perfectly and it all looked great. They prepared and served the food with style, and interacted with our guests in a friendly and professional way. My guests loved these guys! “Where to even begin with how incredible Cave Catering was? First, people were raving about the food for days. We had the lamb chops when we went for the (super professional, beautiful, immaculate) tasting and fell in love. We knew everyone would love them, and we were right! The shrimp cocktail was divine, and we also had the shrimp aguachile shooters because we couldn’t decide between the two. Grilled cheese, bruschetta, and caprese skewers were also a hit because they were so easy to eat at a cocktail hour and tasted delicious.

On top of that, Chef Nicole saved our wedding multiple times before it even happened. Any time we asked for something (renting linens, silverware, extra servers), she was quick to respond and provided anything we needed. We even texted her at 11pm the night before the rehearsal dinner because we figured out our chargers were broken. Her chargers were rented out that weekend, but she tracked some down and brought them to the wedding. The day of our event, she was on time, professional, and provided amazing staff.

We can’t emphasize enough how lucky we felt to have found Cave Catering. We will definitely be hiring them again for our next event.

The food was delicious and the staff was warm, friendly, and organized! Pam, our event coordinator, was awesome! She was always available for a quick phone call for questions. She even drove out to Palm Springs to check out the venue before our big day to make sure everything went smoothly. SO many of our guests talked about how much they loved the food! It could get busy during lunch rush hour, kitty might take 10-15 minutes you wait for your burger, although the drinks are much faster. The ambiance is airy with high ceiling, the Chinese decor is quite interesting.“
