“I meet friends in this great restaurant quite a bit! This is my favorite place to dine. I go there regularly. The food is fantastic, the workers are professional and the rates are reasonable. I enjoy meeting in this spot to have a tasty lunch.“

Located on the main drag in Novato it provides a wonderful throwback moment to a time before Americans even thought much about diabetes and obesity. But, unquestionably, this place has dandy fresh variations of delight. “The food was alright. The meat was tender and flavorful, but the bowl of vermicelli could be improved with some herbs, at the minimum, mint. So even though the protein was flavorful, as a whole, it felt bland.

We didn't order much so I can't attest to the other dishes. The coffee needs to be more authentic, either use dark roast or one with Chicory. I tasted vanilla and nuttiness in my cup.“

“I have always LOVED Tommy's Salsa, and when my husband and I decided we wanted a taco bar for our wedding, Tommy's Salsa was the perfect choice. Maria & her team knocked it out of the park. Everyone LOVED the food at our wedding. There was plenty of food, everything was ready on time, and the buffet line moved efficiently so people weren't waiting a long time to eat. It was really the perfect wedding meal!“

“I've lived in Novato for six years. I've tried several Chinese restaurants and haven't been impressed. I've resorted to driving down to Ping's in Northgate One. That all changed today when I stopped at China Village in the San Marin Plaza. They know their stuff! Everything was flavorful and delicious. I'll be back!“

“This was some of the best food I've had in a while - if I lived nearby I'd come here all the time. My favorite dish was the "Garnachas" which is something I'd never had before - they were like mini street tacos made with small fried (but still soft) tortillas. We got a second order to take home even though we were already stuffed. The fried plantain and beans, and the Plate Antigua were also excellent. Everyone who worked there was very friendly.“

“Under new management and it shows! We customized a pizza, and also ordered a thin crust pizza for our Friday pizza night. We’ve been doing so for the past year, and it wasn’t always a smooth experience (especially if a custom, and not just a hot and ready). Tonight’s experience , same for the past couple, was excellent. Customer service super helpful and kind, and pizzas were so delicious!! Perfectly saucy, nice and cheesy, and still hot when we got home. Thank you!“
