“Amazing Chinese food! Great dim sum and family style meals! My parents are from Taiwan and said this was very authentic. Growing up in OC, I had limited exposure to some of the less popular Chinese foods, but Joyee had them all! My dad loved it and it was all delicious. Even the stuff I haven't tried before.

“Customer service is good and the food was prepared without us having to wait an exorbitant amount of time. The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered Szechuan tofu with rice and then vegetable chow mein (which was amazing) and my nana ordered salt and pepper wings and vegetable egg rolls. She claims they were excellent. I'm usually a big eater but could not finish it all. Place is mid sized, if you intend to have a large party, you will take up most of the space in this place. Tables would have to be moved together if you wanted to sit together. Other than that it is perfect for 1-4 people to grab lunch and go. They take phone orders. I'm also vegetarian so there are options for you if you are as well. Think that covers it, stop by yourself and enjoy!

Vegetarian options: Lot of tofu options or just different vegetable dishes

Dietary restrictions: My Nana can't eat beef or pork and I am vegetarian. Still a good selection of options for the both of us“

“August 7, 2025. First time going there as recommended by the hotel receptionist. Panpan Wok. About 10 minutes total drive from hotel. The restaurant was easily accessed through the back parking lot. The displayed food trays didn't look luxurious except for the beef with green peppers, the rice noodles and the fried fish. So i ordered all of those in large portions. Also, added was 2 bowls of seafood soup. Also, i have to ask for the house special fried rice with mix of all the meat they serve since that was not in any of the tray at the front. Totaled $97 and it was all worth it. More than enough foos take out until the next day. This was mu 3rd.time in Oceanside and Panpan Wok makes my stop over in this place great. I have saved this in Google maps so when we're passing thru or staying, i will come back to this restaurant. I am too full to describe how delicious the food were and i am waiting for my tummy to free up space so i can go back eating the leftovers. I hope people will give Panpan Wok a try. Ask for something you want. The lady that took the order certainly dis listen to my specific requests.“

“They're like a well-oiled machine. I went around 6:15 so... during the dinner rush, PLUS it was a fundraiser for Scholarship Prep so EXTRA busy. I was in and done in 15-20 minutes ordering for 3 people. The staff were super efficient and very friendly. I was impressed.

Parking: Parking isn't bad but when it's busy it might be a challenge because the shop is at the end of the building. Just keep your eyes open.

“We had just checked into our hotel and my family was craving fast Chinese, but Panda Express was closed so we found this place. We ordered there for take out and were surprised how quickly they had it ready, 5 minutes, and it was cooked to order, not sitting in a warming pan under heat lights. We loved the sweet and sour chicken and the house fried rice. The chicken chow mein was more authentic than Panda, more veggies, but the kids didn't like it as well because they were expecting it to be different. The Buddha vegetables weren't as crispy as we'd like, but it was a good variety and the sauce was good. The chicken with green beans was pretty typical for fast chinese. The man taking our order was really nice and helpful. This place has no atmosphere, but if you are just looking for a good meal for take out or to sit down for a quick bite, this place is perfect. They also packaged up our food really carefully, putting all the containers with wet items in plastic bags to avoid messy leakage. We were also surprised to find two boxes of white rice we didn't know we were getting, and a good size bag of fortune cookies!“

“This restaurant has a charming, traditional décor, with antique-style partitions and lanterns hanging from the ceiling. I noticed the front desk was staffed by a white person, so I was initially a bit concerned about the authenticity of the food. However, the food turn out pretty good, and the servers were all friendly Chinese staff who spoke Mandarin.

I ordered the Moo Shu Shrimp and extra vegetables. The portion size was generous, and they provided complimentary soup. The atmosphere was great, and the food tasted quite good.“

“Fresh and well seasoned Chinese dishes. We typically get the Cashew chicken, House chow mein, sweet and sour pork and wonton soup. It’s always enough to feed the three of us either lots to bring home. One of our favorite Chinese spots in Oceanside. Plenty of seating inside and outside.“

“This is the place! If you're looking for takeout this place is very generous with their portions and their meat doesn't suck like a lot of other places. Love the rice noodles and the mushroom chicken. YUM!! I highly recommend and I'll definitely be back!“
