“Took a day trip to Oceanside via the train and checked out places we've never been before. Found Coomber Wines and it was a delightful end to our day. Lovely staff, delicious assortment of wines, very cool rustic decor and fantastic restrooms! Yes, I like to be pleasantly surprised when an establishment goes over the top and creates a wonderful restroom. We had a great afternoon here and would definitely return!“

“From being greeted by Pradstha to being served by Hugo all was fantastic. My steak was cooked to perfection (Medium rare of course) the baked potato was cooked through but not dry, and the salad bar provided a very nice fresh selection. Even two Managers Michael and Christine made sure all was well with my meal.

“Smallish restaurant with tiny parking lot of about 10 spots shared between 3 businesses. Like the roll up garage door windows, lots of outdoor picnic bench seating under shade canopies (which we couldn't use on this rainy day). Beer selection is pretty good, we had the meat lovers 12 inch pizza and liked the thin crispy crust, a bit skimpy on the toppings but tasty enough.
Parking: I think 10 spots between 3 (?) businesses in this very small strip mini mall.“

“I wish more people ate at this place, it’s such an underrated Indian restaurant. Second time here and tried the chicken biryani. Best damn biryani I’ve ever had in my life. (My picture doesn’t do it justice but the bowl was FULL and enough to share with three people if you combine it with naan). The first time I had the tikka and the samosas which were amazing as well. I can’t say enough about this place, It’s better than any other Indian restaurants I’ve tried at major cities or more well known areas. So awesome to have this place here in Oside ????“

“I love little off the map beer and burger joints. The Red Rooster has one of the best burgers in town. Top it off with a really cold beer and you’ve got me! If you are expecting fancy… this is not the place. It does have a classic old bar atmosphere, and that is what makes it great.“

“This spot hits home for me as this was always a go to spot for when I was in the military. After visiting again after 20 plus years it's still the taste amazing and the food is amazing and you will not leave hungry from this place thar fir sure. I had the Carne Asada burrito with fresh pico..?My gf had the shrimp and steak burrito with rice and beans it too was amazing.“

“Portion sizes were good, the chicken and carnitas were good, the al pastor didnt taste like anything tbh. They put lettuce on the tacos, and guacamole which for most is a plus but for me wish they’d mentioned it on the menu before i ordered. I wanted a burrito but they make them weird missing the things i want (rice beans cheese with the meat) and adding things I dont generally go for (lettuce salsa fresca guacamole)
Its authentic but whitewashed, like the menu caters to the oceanside surfers rather than latinos who want an authentic tj taco. Overall it was decent but not my top tier favorite.“

“Oh my goodness, this place is a hidden gem! The service was incredibly quick and friendly, and I was treated with utmost respect right from the moment I stepped in. I’m definitely coming back. I decided to try their spicy chicken ramen with a cold Sapporo to help balance the heat. Let me tell you, I’m almost halfway done with this plate! Be warned, you’re in for a spicy treat. Total came out to roughly 25 bucks but with tips included it was $30 even.“

“I absolutely love Latin food! 😋😋😋 Today, I decided to try the Tallarines verdes con Bistek, and let me tell you, it was fantastic! I’m usually not a huge beef person, but I was craving a steak 🥩🥩 today, which was cooked to perfection. I had such a lovely lunch! “Choose the short ribs if you are looking for a flavor-filled meal, the Pad Thai for consistency, and absolutely order the cheesecake for dessert. You can skip the appetizer, it fell flat for us. We got there at opening and it was loud inside.“
