“We had a few items from the menu, the hot sauce for the burrito stood out garlic, chillies so good. The mocha left me wanting more, the chocolate flavor was delicious. The atmosphere was great very friendly staff, not only towards customers but also amongst themselves, always a good sign if everyone gets along bc that extra love is always reflected in the food. “Our first time here, this place has been on our list for over a year and the timing finally lined up for us to check it out. The place is quaint and elegant. Our server, Anthony, was very attentive and had a great recommendation for the roasted beet ravioli. We split a salad, a soup and a pasta which they plated separately for us and did not charge us a split plate fee. I was pleased with each dish. They were pretty spaced out and if we hadn’t needed to catch our movie after, we would have felt more relaxed to stay. All in all it was a lovely experience and we will be back to try the spaghetti!”

“Cute little shop with many types of ice cream and sorbet. They have olive oil ice cream and I found that quite interesting (never tried that before). However, my favorite ice cream they have here is blossom orange. Staff is patient and happy to help in your tasting quest of the perfect ice cream serving. (I forgot to take pics but I’ll update my post since I know for sure I’ll go back!)”

“Sanders and Sons catered our wedding and they were awesome! Gabriela is very responsive the entire time and helped us coordinate a package that worked for us. We also had fun meeting Sanders in person and tasting the gelato before selecting. Our guests raved about how much they enjoyed the selection of flavors. Highly recommend!”

1) their sandwiches and potato salad are incredible and
2) the staff are the kindest people ever!! They mailed my bag back to me when I lost it!

Diving into the details
1) I ordered the New Yorker sub and it was STACKED! The sandwich is so big that I I shared it with my partner and it was plenty. The best part of the meal though was their potato salad. The seasonings and flavor were very stand out. The potatoes were the perfect texture too! I loved it and would highly recommend! The entire meal was perfect for a hot day.

2) I lost my reusable bag here when visiting Ojai and was honestly pretty sad about it. I figured I should just call and see if I left it at the deli. Sure enough it was there and the staff was super kind to ship it back to me along with a sticker! THANK YOU SO MUCH MU’S DELI. I will be back next time I visit Ojai 😄”

“a very intimate and expensive cafe, its main advantage is its location and views. the coffee is delicious, the ice cream had pieces of ice (apparently it was defrosted and frozen more than once), the strawberry and lemonade soufflé cake was tender and fresh.”

“We have been coming to Exotic Thai for years and the food and service have consistently been excellent! The prices have always been very reasonable as well. If you have a larger appetite, as I do, you will not be disappointed with the portions either.
We highly recommend Exotic Thai.

Every time my MIL comes to visit from out of town, AJs is our usual must do soon as she arrives haha I always say Im going to try a new item but when it comes down to it I cant- have to get my favorite orange chicken, steamed vegetables(always cooked perfectly, never mushy!)My hubby gets beef chow mein & fried rice.
Staff is always very nice. Definitely a top pick for Ojai restaurant choices.”

“Always Wonderful... Try my Bradtini! My always good to go to for dinner or lunch. The meats are all wonderful. I juz get my special taco bowl, no tortilla... You can get any of the proteins that way... Only Ojai locals know... No tortilla, beans or rice for me! Lost 20#s since October and it's staying off! Thanks "Lisa"!

Bartenders were super friendly and nice while they made our drinks. They also have the social club during the day! One of our favorite mountain tucked bars. The inside is small and intimate, they also have seating overlooking the pool.”

“We had a awesome experience here celebrating our recent marriage. The team went above and beyond to make our experience special. The food was excellent, very creative yet a lot of familiar flavors we love. The drinks were great and Thomas our waiter was extremely attentive and fun. In the way our Chef Perfecte made sure to chat with us and it was great to hear a bit more of his story. 10/10 would recommend if you are looking for a special and/or romantic dinner in Ojai.”

“Absolutely my go-to for a food and a drink in the Arcade downtown section of Ojai. The signature wings are spicy and delicious and, as broke as I am at times, still completely worth $16. For reals. The service here is fabulous, and I love supporting local brews. I'm allergic to beer but still come because they have an incredibly tasty grapefruit seltzer that sits very well with me, unlike a nasty Truly or any other crappy Pepsi/Coke brand seltzer. People at this bar are well behaved and I always feel comfortable bringing my kid here. Trivia night every other Tuesday is super fun. I just love this place.”

“The Hut has always rocked for me and I drive past it at least twice a day. I've even been fortunate enough to be present when some anonymous guy comes in and buys round of drinks for the whole house. Two of my co-workers go there and one doesn't. I'm not going to elaborate on that yet I love my job and I hope I have it forever.”

“I came here she micheladas and appetizers with a friend. First time I got chips and salsa and was disappointed. They didn’t have guacamole and their salsa was a miss for me. The spicy sauce was really spicy though so I liked that but no flavor. Their French fries though are incredible. They taste like McDonald’s fries and they give you double the amount for only $4. I’ve never had a Michelada before but I feel like it could have been better. And the mix was just ok. Will still go back for one and definitely for the fries. The decor is not it. Cobwebs on the walls everything looks outdated. The booths are dark and dingy. Not a good place for a date night. Stick to the drinks and fries and you’ll be fine.”

“Wonderful experience we had here. The resort was beautiful. I would say come before your reservation to just enjoy and view the property. All of our food was very good. The hummus is a must. We enjoyed our meals and would return. It’s a very nice city to enjoy when trying to escape the busy city. We will plan residing at the resort next time. Valet complimentary when arriving to restaurant, may also self park”

“I flew in from Boston and my mom is from up the coast in Santa Margarita. This was a perfect start to our Ojai experience. Delicious meal. So many options and we each enjoyed or respective meals: Mango Snapper and Quinoa Greens, and Grilled veggie Quesadilla. Delish! All on the cozy, charming patio strung with festive lights.”

“Busy Sunday, but didn’t have to wait too long. They were out of all sorts of food and beer, this really miffed the young ladies behind the counter who were then charged with telling every customer that. We grabbed the food pretty quick, all three orders were outstanding. The Jalapeño Bacon Smash burger was something I will be back for.

“Came here for an early dinner as part of a girls day out last minute. A hidden gem! The food and drinks were great, service was also great, but that might be because we were the only ones in the whole restaurant. I hope they can drum up more business, especially on a Saturday night. The interior ambience and decor needs a refresh and the hostess podium outside needs to be manned. The menu needs an update as well, this place has a lot of potential just needs to be marketed better. We would come again next time we're in town.”
