“After seeing this place on grun with Greg's Facebook, I decided to try it. I got the loco moco plate, island beef rib plate and the 2 for $5 teriyaki spam masubi. I enjoyed the masubi. It was pretty flavorful and well made. The island beef run was also very delicious. For the price and for 3 beef ribs, it was well worth it. The loco moco plate was also good but unfortunately there was no gravy. So I docked my review by 1 star. Loco moco isn't loco moco without gravy. Other than that, I recommend this place. Don't order online, it's $4 more online. Just order in person or see if you can call in an order.“

“I have been eating at Waikiki for a decade and have never been disappointed! I feel guilty not having written them a review until now because they are so good. I’ve moved out of orange county but get food from here every time I visit. My go to favorites are the chicken katsu, bbq chicken, and Maui pineapple chicken! The chicken is always super delicious and tender. And they always remember to replace the mac and cheese with double rice for me because I’m lactose intolerant.“

“I actually eat at the Tustin location - this one doesn't have pineapple or jalapeño... I'm sure its good still, but those are my two toppings for poke.
They di have mango, whereas the Tustin location does not.

Please add pineapple and jalapeño to your menu!“

“First time here based on reviews and didn’t want to drive all the way up north to Matiki Hawaiian food so I came here instead. It’s very true about the portion sides. It’s actually enough for three maybe four people depending on hungry or I ordered the regular sized chicken, ribs and beef plate with rice, cabbage, and macaroni, and it was too much to eat. I threw away about a third of it. The meats were all overly sauced and a bit salty with sort of concerns me because this is how restaurants and grocery stores hide the fact that the meat is getting old or stale or whatever but they use lots of sodium and sauces to disguise the fact that the meat is going bad, but edible was too much of a mayonnaise paradise the rice was very good. The best part of the meal was actually the cabbage.“

“The most authentic Hawaii experience you can find outside of Hawaii! Not only was the storefront decorated with Hawaii themed memorabilia that made me feel at home but the service and food was A+We ordered two spam musubi ( a Hawaii classic) the Teri Mix Plate and Seafood Mix Plate.First off, everything is made to order NO food is sitting around and the food is FRESH!All the food was excellent and had amazing flavor reminding me of home! The spam musubi and Mac salad were amazing and it felt like I was still in Hawaii!I 1000% recommend this restaurant and you should definitely stop by when coming to Disneyland!P.S. “What an amazing dining experience! The service was superb—attentive without being overbearing, and our waiter made great suggestions on the menu. We started with the spam musubi, which was surprisingly delicious, and followed with a perfect plate of huli-huli chicken. The food was fresh, flavorful, and a true taste of Hawaii. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, with tropical plants, soft lighting, and beachy accents. It felt like we were dining in a Hawaiian paradise. “I stopped coming here a couple months ago because of the rude cashier and decided to order today. I called to make an order to go and the same cashier Anna answered. She put me on hold and after a minute I heard it hang up, after she left the line busy because it wouldn’t even ring. It’s always the same girl giving us terrible service but that was just the cherry on top. “Solid Hawaiian BBQ joint. Chicken, beef, pork, and katsu on the menu. The combo plate gives you a taste of everything and weighs like 5 pounds… perfectly cooked cabbage and macaroni salad. I got the chicken katsu which was appropriately thin and crispy with our being dry. Good curry sauce and it has potatoes!! Will definitely eat here again and work my way thru the menu. “This is my first time there. I ordered the poke, salmon only, with greens and no rice, mini size(?) There's plenty of salmon, it comes with my favorite seaweed. I was surprised how good it was. Parking is usually very scarce during lunch. I don't remember seeing seating inside as it is a very small place. Again, seating outside is for all the restaurants in the center. It may be hard to find a table. Definitely going back again.“

“I stopped in on a whim to see what they had and got a Rollrrito (their Oahu) and it was phenomenal. Lots of fresh fish & all the ingredients bright, vibrant and crisp (for the veggies). I have was back there within a week as I craved their fresh, delicious food. The staff are great as went last night at 10 min before closing. They were just as friendly, nothing was packed up (pre-closing) and it was beyond delicious & hit the spot. I will be frequenting this place for a while now. I have only had the rollrrittos so far but I know everything there is all good!!!“

“This place rocks, I go here generally every couple weeks if I can and the food is always delicious. The teriyaki beef bowl is what I get most often. The meat and rice are well cooked and their sauce is one of the best I’ve had. Their portions are pretty generous and sometimes enough to save for a small meal leftover. I also often get either the kalbi or beef ribs on the side and I love both of those too.
The second you walk in you know the place is legit, there’s the sweet smoke of great barbecue in the air and the people at the counter are always so nice, I’ve never had an issue with service. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone!“

“Ordered some dinner here of 3 different options of the teriyaki chicken, beef short ribs, and katsu chicken. All platters were an immense amount of food, and you could feel the weight of the food in the to-go bag. I was shocked when opening the carton to see what seemed like 2-3lbs of meat, 1lb of rice, and some macaroni salad. I will say the food is more fast food vibes and not high-end quality, but for the price you pay and the amount of food you get. I would say it is worth it.
Great flavor from the teriyaki chicken that had a long-lasting marinade you can taste. I would definitely recommend people to get the chicken katsu or the beef ribs because the flavor is just a lot better than the teriyaki chicken, although good, is just very generic.
The macaroni salad and the spam musubi are also very nice little appetizers! Again, would recommend it as a lunch stop and definitely taking some seconds home because of the amount of food you get. It's a cool spot with a few seats and usually not crazy packed. The guy at the front was very helpful and great at service.

Vegetarian options: They have some macaroni salad and coleslaw

Dietary restrictions: Definitely carnivore friendly as you can just get a huge amount of beef, teriyaki chicken, and eat that as the main meal
