“This was my go to Indian food restaurant in Huntington Beach before being diagnosed with Celiac’s and I was so excited to meet the owner Sal and learn that he and the entire staff are so knowledgeable about the disease and gluten free kitchen practices. Sal’s mom has food allergies and so he has maintained his kitchen with strict gluten free dishes and separate areas for food prep. There are many options on the menu since most Indian food is naturally gluten free. My favorite has always been the Chicken Tikka Masala and Lama Vindaloo, but since the staff always brings out little samples of stuff I now love the Lentil Soup! And testing with my Nima Gluten Detector always shows NO Gluten Detected and I'm good to eat without fear...but I already knew that. Thanks you guys!!! Love love love this place!!!“

“Food was delicious although it did take a while for it to be ready after ordering. Level 5 spice felt more like a 1 or 2 as it didn't really have much of a kick. Good amount of parking available and there wasn't much ppl eating inside. Chicken biryani was flavorful. So was the paneer shahi. Lamb vindaloo wasn't bad either“

“Amazing flavor profile. Had the chicken korma burrito and masala tots. Both were solid on the portion for price. I love Indian food and this a good place to go without breaking the bank since it’s hard for me to pick one thing with a more traditional Indian place.

This is fusion at its best! If you’re interested you won’t be disappointed! I think this is also a good place to bring someone in who’s never had Indian food.

Can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu. I’m sad I forgot to grab some sauces.

I’m annoyed it took me this many years living in the area to order takeout from here. It was hot, fresh, perfect spice level for us on medium, and the guys at the counter were friendly. We ordered garlic naan, butter chicken and chicken tikka masala…. I know those are the “basic” options for Indian food but too many places just don’t seem to nail it, Andaaz nailed it! “A solid option for buffet style Indian food. I wouldn’t say it’s the best in OC but it is decently priced and they have a fair amount of variety and dishes to choose from. What stood out to me most was the paneer curry and the tikka masala. Was not the biggest fan of the goat dish or the chili chicken. I liked the atmosphere in here though. Very clean and they had the Bollywood music on in the background which really helps set the mood lol.“

their buffet was STOCKED too, with salad and fresh fruit (watermelon), fresh crispy pakora and samosa, plain rice, biryani, tandoori chicken, all your sauces and raita, and at least 10 different curries including chicken tikka masala, goat curry, veggie korma, saag paneer, and so many more that I wish I could remember. they also have mango pudding and a delicious rice pudding and gulab jamun. they bring over baskets of fresh, hot garlicky naan that’s perfect crispy on the corners and soft and pillowing throughout, perfect for dragging through their delectable sauces. their curries were not too spicy (good for a pregnant palate!) but rich in flavor and full of delicious veggies and high quality meat. this was such a winner!! definitely adding this one to the regular roster.“

“I would strongly disagree with any negative reviews here - we catered from Vishnu Catering for our large Indian wedding the entire weekend and it was the best food we and many of our guests have ever had at a wedding! Ram was kind, helpful, professional, and incredibly reliable as a vendor - we never had to worry about anything going wrong with catering and he was easily one of our favorite and best vendors of the whole process. The food and drink was phenomenal across all events. We are still getting comments from guests, Indian and non-Indian, about how amazing the food was. “A small mom and pop shop that really pulls you in and treat you like family. I have been going here for years and I’ve always been greeted with a warm smile and great conversation. They’ve always been happy to accommodate my daughter‘s odd orders and do it with a smile.
