“The best Thai cuisine in town, Chef is from Thailand, authentic taste as well. Walked in with my husband in mid-Dec, we both are Green / Red chicken curry lovers, price is right, enjoyable food, strongly recommend. Then, got lunch special take out today, it was fast prepared. Brought it home, food temperature and taste remained Hot/Delicious as we expected. Definitely would visit or take out again.“

“We came here for a dinner. On a Saturday night as we love Thai food. This place was so quiet and peaceful. Basically being vegetarians we were looking for some options. We found plenty. Drunken noodles and pineapple curry were so tasty and had just enough flavours, mild and delicious. We tried their home made coconut icecream, was one of the best I had. Prices were extremely affordable and the lady who served was kind to us. Would highly recommend this place. Would wish more people could visit this place and keep their business flourishing.“

Ordered Tom Yum, Thai spicy, with shrimp:
- Really nice level of heat (I ordered it very spicy), and there were no Thai chili pepper pods I had to fish out, so that's good, and they provided extra ground Thai chilis on the side. 👍👍
- fresh mushrooms, not canned, good amount 👍👍
- heat, sourness, amazingly delicious tasting broth, hint of sweetness to contrast the bold hot and sour flavors. All the wonderful tastes melded together, lime, cilantro, galangal, lemon grass, so completely developed and full flavored 👍👍 👍
- giant shrimp, tails on, so tender and delicious and lots of them. 👍👍👍
Bottom line, I've been hunting for the best Tom Yum in SoCal, and I have found it at Royal Thai Orchid. I was settling before, now, never more. Makes me REALLY want to taste their other menu items. Just ordered Tom Yum for the 4th time in the past week (yes, I am obsessed and yes, it's that good), but this time I ordered some stuffed chicken wings as well. Will be amazing I'm sure. 😁“

“I ordered the Chicken pad thai (Medium Spice) not thai level spice so if I do come back, definitely getting spicy with extra spice on the side. The space inside makes you feel like you're transported back to Thailand (there was a cab in the front of the menu screen) and limited seating, a couple of tables outside. Overall rating, 4.6 stars for me, I know google doesn't give me the options for the point six. The pad thai was really good, not too mushy, chicken not over done and love that they added the Vietnamese chives ( hẹ) and bean sprouts along with peanuts, gives an extra crunch in every bite. I went with some friends and we shared an order of the Pad Thai noodles with chicken, house fried rice with tofu, and yellow curry with chicken and potatoes. The food overall was decent and satisfying. The Pad Thai had a nice, slightly sweet flavor and was cooked just right—classic comfort food with tender pieces of chicken mixed in. The fried rice with tofu was simple but tasty, with a good texture and well-balanced seasoning that didn’t overpower. The yellow curry was creamy and mild, featuring long pieces of chicken and potatoes that soaked up the rich coconut flavor nicely. The chicken was tender the potatoes were very firm.

Inside, the restaurant has a clean and casual feel—nothing fancy, but comfortable and easy to relax in. The real bonus, though, is the atmosphere outside. Downtown Orange has a super chill vibe, and it adds a lot to the experience. “A little gem in Good Food Hall, a small indoor/outdoor food court at the end of Anaheim Center Street Promenade.
The (Tofu) Pad Thai had the right amount of flavor. The (chicken) Green Curry had a hint of spiciness, right amount of curry-sweetness and fresh looking red & green bell peppers.

Here's what we ordered: Tom Kha Soup: Excellent, bursting with rich and vibrant flavors. Summer Rolls: My wife loved them--fresh and perfectly prepared. Even though it doesn’t say anything on the menu, the staff seemed to know what vegan is so you can confirm options with them. I recently got the orange tofu and it was really good. Their mango sticky rice is vegan - they use coconut based condensed milk.“

“Delish and great staff. The staff IS family and they treat not only their customers like family, but the other staff as well. That means a lot. We had a fun time with DJ and Pleng. About the food... We had 4 dishes... Hanuman's ceviche, Tom Kha Gai, Massaman, Pad See Ew and a nice glass of Malbec. My favorites were the ceviche and Massaman. But everything was so good. Hubs liked everything. There was literally no wait at 3 pm but come soon... Once word gets out this place will have a 45 min wait just like the mother location on Bristol.“

“Today I went to rodeo 39 in Garden Grove with some friends and I stumbled across Kra Z Kai's. It was my second time trying Laos barbecue. This place is a hidden gem for sure. Everything was the delicious. The ribs were marinated for 24 hours. The barbecue pork and the chicken were all marinated in the same sauce. The owner told me the service was fast and this whole ambience was nice some of the best food I've had in a long time next time I'm going to Garden Grove. I will come here again.“

“Very kind gesture today with the Brea Father's Day car show event - a very sweet lady waitress probably helped save my 85 year old fathers life today on Father's Day. He had ran out of water on the way back to our car and got overheated and sat down there outside. Such a sweet gesture with a little free ice water, but I promise I will be back for food someday.

“Everytime we come to Yorbalinda we have to stop by the Bangkok house Thai, serves one of the best Thai food I’ve ever had even my 3 year old loves it!! We usually order the same, wonton soup, shrimp chow mein and yellow curry this time we order orange chicken and OMYYYY LORD best decision of my life!!! It was crunchy, chicken was soft not too much sauce but definitely not dry. Just perfect.

“We all enjoyed our food. The chicken appetizer was ok. Beef satay was good. The pad Thai, pad khee mao and massaman curry were all good. The curry had rich, warm flavor. I wish the carrots and potatoes had been a little softer (cooked longer)
There was a bit of confusion with how the spice levels worked and also what we were ordering for an appetizer and wanted to come out first versus what we were ordering for the main course.

“Whenever I get a craving for Thai this is my go to spot. The food is authentic delicious and Just plain beautiful. The prices are reasonable the portions are large. The atmosphere can be busy, but comforting and relaxing, like a coffeehouse. The hustle and bustle of people coming in doesn’t distract from the atmosphere. In fact, it adds to it. I have always judged a Thai restaurant by their Tom kha kai. The first time I had it here I knew I was in for some good Thai. I’ve been making Tom kha gai at home for years now I know how it’s done and the subtleties of the ingredients. I highly recommend this restaurant.“

“I have been going to Thai Pepper for decades now. There food is always just spot on and the lunch special of $9.95 is a great deal. You get an entree in which I always get The Mint Leaves Chicken, fried rice, two fried wontons and a salad. My only suggestion would be to put the salad in a separate little box so it does not get hot next to the hot food. Other than that the food is excellent and great prices. You can get it mild to very hot on the spice! I stick with mild and my friend always gets the level 10 hot, hot, 🔥🥵 HOT. I would die, but different strokes for different folks.👍🤤🎉“

“The mazemen here is soooo good! I tried Mogu Mogu before this and it’s essentially the same thing but I personally think Mazera is better. The chashu is very good not dry and the portion can feed more than one person, especially if you add the rice at the end. I always end up with leftovers which I eat the next day and it’s still nice the next day.“
