“Just had a wonderful pastrami sandwich. First time coming here and it was a great experience. Opted to have their bread instead of bagel for the sandwich.

Loads of toppings, fresh bread and toasted nicely. The staff were very friendly and helpful since it was our first time.

“Delicious pancakes. They were huge and very tasty I had plenty to bring home for later. I think I got about three meals out of it. The bacon was a bit unevenly cooked, some of it was very crispy some of it was kind of rubbery. This is a very popular local place always busy.“

“I eat at Huckleberry’s at least twice a month, today however my experience was not good to the point that I did not leave a tip and feel terrible about that. I went in around noon on Sunday, I knew it would be busy. I signed in for one and was told it would be a 10 minute wait. I sat there roughly 10 minutes. Two ladies came in signed in. Apparently they knew one of the waitress and were seated a few minutes later even though I was there before them. A waiter then approached the hostess and pointed at the clipboard, the hostess told him she was not going to seat one person in a booth. So I approached the hostess that initially signed me in and inquired why the two ladies were given a booth even though I was there before them, she didn’t know and looked for the waitress who sat them. The waitress proceeded to move them to a bigger booth to seat me. I was very disappointed. I realize it was not right to leave a tip but customers should not be given preferential treatment.“

“Always love Brookfield's at Madison Ave. One of my favorite restaurants with a great menu. This time was for lunch with the Balsamic Salmon. Substituted the spinach for brown rice and mashed potatoes. With corn bread and raspberry tea, the food was amazing! Salmon was nicely grilled and delicious. Service here has always been great too. She was attentive without being overbearing, consistently checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. “This is one of our favorite breakfast spots, and we usually come here to celebrate special occasions. This time, we stopped by to celebrate my husband's birthday week, and as always, it did not disappoint.

The restaurant is a decent size with both indoor and outdoor seating available. Everything is always spotless, from the dining area to the condiment bottles, which somehow always look brand new.

Now, let's talk about the food. They have a great selection of mimosas, and my husband's favorite is the pineapple coconut mimosa. If you're a chocolate lover, I highly recommend trying the Ghirardelli hot chocolate.

My husband ordered the classic Eggs Benedict and said it's one of the best he's ever had—which is saying a lot! I ordered the avocado toast with country-style potatoes, and it was delicious. However, my absolute favorite item is their cinnamon pancake. If I had to describe it in one word, it would be Christmas. It's warm, comforting, and full of flavor. If you're visiting for the first time, I definitely recommend ordering it.

The customer service was excellent as always—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. One tip: try to come early in the morning because this place gets busy quickly.

“Today my Wife and I had breakfast at one of our favorite places, IHOP on Madison Ave. in Sacramento. We were greeted by Aaron, one of the best food servers you will ever have the pleasure to serve you. He is always so very nice, friendly, attentive and efficient. The food is so good there. Horatio is the manager there and seems to do a fantastic job managing the restaurant and keeping it clean and tidy. Thank you Aaron and Horatio for always bringing the best to your customers.
