“Everyone that works there is great! They greet me by name, a little chit-chat- it's a great neighborhood store. They have crammed in almost everything you might need at a last minute, but don't want to go to a grocery store for. We LOVE their hamburgers and wish they sold them all day and night! They have a great hidden wine corner, beer, mixers, liquor, dairy, snacks etc.“

“This use to be one of my favorite locations. The service is fast, and the cashiers are always nice and professional. It’s also a very safe location but not a lot of places to eat outside like other locations. Overall it’s still a good clear restaurant with fresh food.“

“This was definitely an awesome burger spot!! the workers were so kind and funny. they treated us like family and the food was delicious and pretty affordable! right when we said what we wanted he slapped a fresh burger patty on the grill! that’s how you know it’s going to be fresh. tomatoes were fresh, lettuce was good and the curly fries were crispy! 10/10 would come again if we came back.“

“I love this place. The first thing I wanna talk about is the team. They are absolutely amazing. I’ve been in there twice this week and I cannot stress you how friendly the staff is. How helpful they are with all the questions and requests that my wife and I had. There was no request that was too big. The entire time we waited for our food I watched the gentleman at the front counter, engage with customer after customer with the same respect and helpfulness. The food is super fresh. The atmosphere is great and the price is reasonable. I highly recommend giving this place a try if you haven’t. Try the unique sodas from the fountain. They are amazing. The root beer was one of the best I ever tasted.“

“It was our anniversary dinner tonight so it’s a special deal. We arrived to a nice young man taking our car at valet. We were greeted by a manager and two host team members. They said happy anniversary to us on the welcome. The manager sat us and was so kind and engaged with us. We sat on the yard overlooking the river. The beauty and ambiance 5 star. Aaron our server was kind, professional, attentive and gave us space as needed. We asked his recommendations for drinks and food. He was spot on. Please recognize Aaron for his service to us. The food and drinks were amazing. I had the surf and turf & my husband had the crab cake all prepared wonderfully. I highly recommend rays and we totally thank you. We both manage restaurants for work and you know how hard a work day is right now w staffing and business booming. It was an escape for us and we greatly appreciate it. Thank you for the dessert to go and we will come back !!! Thanks !“

“Karla is so sweet and helpful. She is usually in the drive thru when I stop by after work before making the long commute home. She has great EQ, friendly, provides excellent timely service. I oversee customer service for a large restaurant brand and I feel Karla is an excellent steward of hospitality and that she should be recognized for her work! Way to go Karla, thank you for bringing a smile to my face after long days of solving people’s problems. I could visit other concepts or CJ locations after work, but come back to this one for her service. Kudos!“

“Food was better than expected. We tried their grilled chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries, and everything was good! Even their drinks! Bathrooms were clean, environment was nice. Person helping/manager? In the front, didn’t seem happy, but I imagine when it gets busy, folks are focused and not as friendly. I wish we had a Habit in Houston.“

“We popped into HiHo on some downtime from working at the SoFi stadium.
The smash burgers were really tasty but the fries were the star of the show.
It was a nice addition to see alcohol being served.
The Aircon could probably do with a service as it was roasting in the seating area and the outside area was full to capacity (which is always a good sign.)
Food is excellent but the atmosphere is very much McDonalds vibe.“

“Even if the environment and location are a turn off, the food was worth it. I had the double cheeseburger with chili cheese fries. You are handed a heavy plate of food. The burger was hefty and the fries plentiful.
I'd definitely do the burger again, but skip the fries.“

“We skipped dinner and got hungry late at night. This was open around the time and they had just recently remodeled their restaurant. The food was great, the prices were reasonable and the restaurant was clean and sanitary. The staff were average, they were easy to engage and friendly.“

“Honestly, I don’t remember the last time I was in a place with such great service. I spoke with who I believe is the owner, and he gave me a brief history of the place ( since the 80s). He made sure to ask, before I brought it up, if I was ok with the ingredients and proceed to list them. He offered fries and soda to which I declined, but he must’ve confused my hesitation ( I don’t really like fries nor sodas) because he gave me free fries and a free drink when he brought the plate to my table.
He is extremely kind. I saw how he went to check in on the other table and carried conversations with each person- sharing laughs too. As soon as he saw someone getting up, he made sure to stop anyone who wanted to clean their own table, making sure they can leave without worrying about the table and cleaning up after them.
I would come here again just for the service. The food is great too, but the service stood out the most to me.“

The atmosphere, well, you are outside eating with all the noise from the traffic but the food is great and I enjoyed it.
Parking: When it's busy, the parking lot behind get full with the patrons from the other businesses.“

“Love the atmosphere of this comfortably casual bar. Ample outdoor seating provides the perfect spot to sip a beer or two relaxing in the sunshine. I don’t eat meat so I haven’t tried the burgers, which come highly recommended. The garlic parmesan fries are excellent and enough for 3 people. Sorry I can’t say the same for the cauliflower wings or pretzels with cheese sauce. But I had the best-poured beer of my life—a fresh Scrimshaw pilsner in a sparkling-clean glass. See attached video. Despite the venue’s name, they now offer cocktails as well as beer and wine.“

Off rip, I knew it was gonna be bomb because my boyfriend actually has great taste and recommended it. I mean why would I date him otherwise? But I still had to be the one to taste it to believe it. Those biscuits put them on the MAP! I had lost faith in biscuits & gravy in this city. I have been let down time and time again because it was so weak. But these gave me hope for the future 🥹 I could see this place being my breakfast new normal. So if you ever want to stop by there, hit me up beforehand and we can brunch together🫶🏼🍽️ this is the type of place I would have FOMO over“

“So delicious, my favorite place since today! I love the clean and organic ingredients and the very careful cooking preparation, giving it all so wonderful taste. The vegan burger patty is yummy. Just be aware that the bun has eggs in it, but you can ask for a lettuce wrap like I did. The fries are top of the top in LA, same as the wagyu beef burgers. Ate it all, loved it all, plus the staff is very nice.“

“The cafe was another of the highlights of the visit to the villa. We had the antipasto platter which was perfect as a snack after the visit. But all the food looked great. They offer free water from a container but also offer sodas, beer, and wine. It's an awesome setting and food was fast. Great place!“
