“The cafe was another of the highlights of the visit to the villa. We had the antipasto platter which was perfect as a snack after the visit. But all the food looked great. They offer free water from a container but also offer sodas, beer, and wine. It's an awesome setting and food was fast. Great place!“

“Everyone that works there is great! They greet me by name, a little chit-chat- it's a great neighborhood store. They have crammed in almost everything you might need at a last minute, but don't want to go to a grocery store for. We LOVE their hamburgers and wish they sold them all day and night! “Great spot to get a quick eat. Burgers start at $9.99 & go up to $12.99, I believe. Service was great & the food came out super quick. I ordered the spicy smash burger. Honestly, it was pretty good.

The only change I would suggest is to substitute the regular cheese with pepper jack since it is the spicy version of the smash burger.

Also, I would lean towards ordering the curly fires with the order instead of the regular fries. The regular fries are okay, I feel that the curly fries had a lot more texture & flavor to offer that goes well with the meal.

All in all, I'd go back if I find myself in the area. They just gotta be careful in case some sea crustacean, like a Plankton, tries to steal their burger formula for himself.“

“It was our anniversary dinner tonight so it’s a special deal. We arrived to a nice young man taking our car at valet. We were greeted by a manager and two host team members. They said happy anniversary to us on the welcome. The manager sat us and was so kind and engaged with us. We sat on the yard overlooking the river. The beauty and ambiance 5 star. Aaron our server was kind, professional, attentive and gave us space as needed. We asked his recommendations for drinks and food. He was spot on. Please recognize Aaron for his service to us. The food and drinks were amazing. I had the surf and turf & my husband had the crab cake all prepared wonderfully. I highly recommend rays and we totally thank you. We both manage restaurants for work and you know how hard a work day is right now w staffing and business booming. It was an escape for us and we greatly appreciate it. “Ate at the airport Habit - had never heard of it, and I was happy we found it. Great burgers - the char grill didn't result in a dry patty. Instead it was juicy and flavorful. Decent fries (like what we call steak fries in Cleveland). Very fast considering it was so fresh.“

“We popped into HiHo on some downtime from working at the SoFi stadium.

The smash burgers were really tasty but the fries were the star of the show.

It was a nice addition to see alcohol being served.

The Aircon could probably do with a service as it was roasting in the seating area and the outside area was full to capacity (which is always a good sign.)

“Even if the environment and location are a turn off, the food was worth it. I had the double cheeseburger with chili cheese fries. You are handed a heavy plate of food. The burger was hefty and the fries plentiful.

“We skipped dinner and got hungry late at night. This was open around the time and they had just recently remodeled their restaurant. The food was great, the prices were reasonable and the restaurant was clean and sanitary. The staff were average, they were easy to engage and friendly.“

“Honestly, I don’t remember the last time I was in a place with such great service. I spoke with who I believe is the owner, and he gave me a brief history of the place ( since the 80s). He made sure to ask, before I brought it up, if I was ok with the ingredients and proceed to list them. He offered fries and soda to which I declined, but he must’ve confused my hesitation ( I don’t really like fries nor sodas) because he gave me free fries and a free drink when he brought the plate to my table.

He is extremely kind. I saw how he went to check in on the other table and carried conversations with each person- sharing laughs too. As soon as he saw someone getting up, he made sure to stop anyone who wanted to clean their own table, making sure they can leave without worrying about the table and cleaning up after them.

I would come here again just for the service. The food is great too, but the service stood out the most to me.“

The atmosphere, well, you are outside eating with all the noise from the traffic but the food is great and I enjoyed it.

“This place is really cool. My friend chose it, so I didn't know what to expect. Upon arrival, I noticed they have "any gender" restrooms, which was a nice touch.

I ordered the California Lounge, which was a massive burger! I added a side of "half-and-half," combining onion rings and french fries. Although the fries were a bit soggy for my taste, I still enjoyed every bite.

I also had a Mexican Coke on ice, though it's not pictured. Overall, everything was great. I appreciated the family-friendly atmosphere and the welcoming decor.“

“Johnny Rockets in Manhattan Beach has great burgers and friendly staff in a 1950’s burger joint setting. I usually get the delicious Route 66 mushroom burger and my wife gets the Original. The onion rings are the best I’ve eaten anywhere!“

“So delicious, my favorite place since today! I love the clean and organic ingredients and the very careful cooking preparation, giving it all so wonderful taste. The vegan burger patty is yummy. Just be aware that the bun has eggs in it, but you can ask for a lettuce wrap like I did. The fries are top of the top in LA, same as the wagyu beef burgers. Ate it all, loved it all, plus the staff is very nice.“
