“We had a great time at tea. Our server. Karen, was very attentive and went out of her way to make our tea a positive experience. The food was tasty and offered a nice variety of sandwiches and desserts. The Getty is a wonderful location for tea.“
“Everyone that works there is great! They greet me by name, a little chit-chat- it's a great neighborhood store. They have crammed in almost everything you might need at a last minute, but don't want to go to a grocery store for. We LOVE their hamburgers and wish they sold them all day and night! They have a great hidden wine corner, beer, mixers, liquor, dairy, snacks etc.“

The food is just absolutely amazing. The burgers have this flavor you can’t find anywhere else.
Yes you have to wait a bit because the burgers are made from scratch, but it makes it that much better.

“I stopped by HiHo Cheeseburger in Marina del Rey around 3 p.m. on a Saturday, that magical hour when parking is neither impossible nor easy. The restaurant shares a gated lot with REI, which kindly validates two hours.
Inside, the vibe was steady but calm. I ordered the HiHo Double and fries, which arrived in a leisurely fifteen minutes, a dignified wait for 100% grass-fed, grass-finished Wagyu. The burger, though smaller than an In-N-Out Double-Double, was excellent: melty cheese, slow-cooked onions, and crisp lettuce. The fries were fine, but McDonald’s and the BK Lounge can rest easy.
At $10.45, HiHo is in a higher price category than In-N-Out and Shakeshack, but of comparable quality of taste. Worth a visit, but not at the top of my LA/OC burger rotation.

“Stopped by as the sun was setting and it was getting cooler. Jeff had some great music playing and invited me up to his table. I went for the chefs choice which was a Louisiana style link with the trimmings. I initially thought it was a made up location but it ended up being great food and conversation with the owner so the next time I’m in the area I’ll definitely stop by again.“

“First time visiting Ray’s on the River, and it definitely won’t be my last. The atmosphere was great, the service was excellent, and the food truly stood out. “I've been to a few burger lounges around LA now and it's always been really solid. Id say it falls into a category a cut above In-N-Out with a wider variety of flavors and a step down in price from the (inferior) five guys.
I usually order the lounge burger as is, but sometimes the western style or blue cheese burger. The meat to topping ratio is good and the buns are squishy but firm. Their barbecue sauce is something special with a heavy smoky chipotle/hickory flavor. Their fries are fine, hot and crispy, and the batch sodas are another less common touch (great ginger beer and Shirley temple).
The manager at this location seemed very involved and attentive to making things move smoothly and provide a good experience (Dec. 7th ~6:00p). Nice guy.
There's probably a burger lounge near you and they're probably not going to let you down in flavor and price.“

“I never knew I needed this kind of food in my life. The flavors here are awesome. It's American crosses with japanese and left me searching for how to make these delicious taste at my own house. They have numerous different kind of sauces all of them are unique and tasty in their own way. For dessert had a chocolate avocado shake. I had no clue those flavors worked together but it was fantastic. I got to enjoy all this while drinking a beer and watching Thursday night football! Chef Carlos is the man!“

“Honestly, I don’t remember the last time I was in a place with such great service. I spoke with who I believe is the owner, and he gave me a brief history of the place ( since the 80s). He made sure to ask, before I brought it up, if I was ok with the ingredients and proceed to list them. He offered fries and soda to which I declined, but he must’ve confused my hesitation ( I don’t really like fries nor sodas) because he gave me free fries and a free drink when he brought the plate to my table.
He is extremely kind. I saw how he went to check in on the other table and carried conversations with each person- sharing laughs too. As soon as he saw someone getting up, he made sure to stop anyone who wanted to clean their own table, making sure they can leave without worrying about the table and cleaning up after them.
I would come here again just for the service. The food is great too, but the service stood out the most to me.“

“Still the best fast food burger out there even though a noticeable reduction in size and a small price increase has made it not such a great deal any longer. Still worth negotiating the parking and the lines though. Very friendly employees. Lots of greetings and smiles. They still need to steal the KFC French fry recipe...inNout fries are not very good in my opinion...for what that's worth! Still impressive how fast they get your food out considering how busy they always are!“
