“Stopped in for coffee, a very kind gentleman agreed to sit with my 11.5 month old Golden Retriever outside. Nice woman behind counter said my dog was welcomed in, my dog doesn't have enough manners to go inside, yet!
Ordered an Americano, kind woman asked if I'd like an ice cube in coffee, as it was way too hot to drink. Glad she was thinking as it was perfect!! Still hot, love LOVE my HOT black coffee. Without the 1 ice cube, I would have to wait for caffeine consumption!
The other woman behind the counter was making a beautiful bowl.. not sure what it was but it looked delicious!!!! Going back this week to try !!!

The gentleman that sat with my dog volunteers with human society and he educated me on the correct walking leash for my dog and informed me of puppy classes!! Super grateful, as I just moved from Detroit!

“Our first time here. Wanted to try a different Japanese restaurant vs our usual. Parking was convenient. They have a small parking lot on the back. We ordered to share: caterpillar sushi roll, chicken karage ( not twice fried)and vegetable tempura. (Thicker battered). But not bad. We each ordered: Tonkatsu Don, bento box salmon and chicken teriyaki , bento box tonkatsu and sesame chicken chicken udon, and nabeyaki udon. Drinks: Sapporo beer. Overall, food was good and they came super fast. While eating, I noticed they had a lot of orders Togo. Quite busy with take outs. We definitely will come back.“

“I usually don’t write reviews, especially when I’m not sure about a restaurant’s consistency, but this place absolutely deserves it. The sushi here is phenomenal—I’ve had sushi in my home country, in San Francisco, and even at high-end Omakase restaurants, but the rolls here, especially the Warriors Roll, are honestly the best I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve ordered sushi from this place, and I’ve even recommended it to my roommate.
The service is just as amazing as the food. The staff are attentive and genuinely kind—when I mentioned I didn’t want ice water, they immediately brought me a warm glass of water, which really made me feel cared for.

“I went there for brunch and I totally recommend it. Be mindful you will have to queue outside, but if that doesn’t stop you, you will enjoy one of the best brunches I’ve had in town.

Instead of pre-made salad, they have a build-your-own station where you can customize the salad to your liking (which I prefer). Definitely satisfied with my salad. I ordered medium 14inch half thai green curry and half thai yellow curry.

Yea, they are unique in that they make traditional italian american pizza, like pepperoni, combo, etc.

But also! THAI PIZZA!!! 🇹🇭 🍕 its really good. Hidden gem for sure.

“We travelled from Maryland to experience San Francisco, found this local restaurant within walking distance of our hotel, and decided to give it a try. It was well worth it! The staff was accommodating, attentive and very friendly. The food was exceptional! If you haven’t tried Mediterranean cuisine or love it, this is the place for you!“

“We’ve always been thin crust pizza fans, have never tasted authentic NY style pizza, though we have had Napoli-style pizza several times in Rome, and we gotta say, the crust here is AMAZING!! The only slight change that I think would make it taste even better is if there was a bit more salt in the dough. From where we live, comparatively, Mountain Mike’s and Porky’s Pizza Palace would be rated 2 or 3 out of 10 and Spinning Dough would be 9/10! Would totally buy it frozen if they offered that, it is that good! Was also a treat for the kids to watch the owner (who is super, super nice!) toss the dough and assemble the pizzas. “I love this restaurant so much, it’s the best on Burlingame Avenue! Their food has so much flavor and never misses. Their chicken yuro plate is so delicious! They always have great surface. You need to eat dinner here the next time you’re on the ave.“

“The staff here are incredibly friendly and make you feel right at home. My go-to order is their BBQ wings..hands down my favorite. I stopped by today after a while and grabbed some wings and a slice of pizza from the display. They served the pizza just the way I like it: hot and crispy.

To top it off, they even convinced me to join in for two karaoke songs. Let’s just say… I won’t be quitting my day job anytime soon. Might have to come back just to redeem my vocal reputation, lol.

“No wait and lots of open tables. We came around 6:00pm on a Monday. We have been coming here since the original location was on Monterey Blvd. All their food is delicious and not Thai spicy unless you want that burn and I am sure they can help you with that.

They start you off with a basket of fried shrimp chips and a tamarind dipping sauce. Plus water for everyone.

Their Thai ice tea is always on point. Pad Se-ew with Chicken has been my go to dish. Double cooked Duck. 😋 Their whole menu has wonderful options.“

I have celiac so I was nervous when my office chose a sandwich spot for a catered lunch, but when I called mission picnic they assured me they could make my sandwich on gluten free bread and would follow appropriate procedures to prevent cross contamination. My sandwich came packed in a separate bag apart from the items with gluten and was marked “gluten free” in multiple places. I felt really safe and the sandwich was great!“

“I’ve always wanted to come to a Starbird and today’s finally the chance to visit.

🍔Food: I got their new Indian Hotbird chicken sandwich. I can give it a 9/10. The sauces balance each other out w/o having 1 dominating the rest in terms of flavors. Spiciness level is about 6/10 on a general scale. The raita in it (yogurt-based sauce) and the cucumber let the fried chicken taste without too overpowering. The bun is also pretty good. The only downside is that the chicken is not fresh-out-of-fryer temperature and not as ‘authentic’ or moist as a Popeye’s, but the overall dining experience far outweighs the competitors.

🌽Elote corn side: highly recommend. Again very fresh & balances out the grease from the fried chicken.

Environment: Waayyy better than those regular fast food chains. Very bright & uplifting with ample lighting and light music.

🅿️Parking: parking can bit a bit tricky. Basically you need to stick close to the apartment building and drive into the parking lot whenever possible to avoid going over.
