“Stopped in for coffee, a very kind gentleman agreed to sit with my 11.5 month old Golden Retriever outside. Nice woman behind counter said my dog was welcomed in, my dog doesn't have enough manners to go inside, yet!
Ordered an Americano, kind woman asked if I'd like an ice cube in coffee, as it was way too hot to drink. Glad she was thinking as it was perfect!! Still hot, love LOVE my HOT black coffee. Without the 1 ice cube, I would have to wait for caffeine consumption!
The other woman behind the counter was making a beautiful bowl.. not sure what it was but it looked delicious!!!! Going back this week to try !!!

The gentleman that sat with my dog volunteers with human society and he educated me on the correct walking leash for my dog and informed me of puppy classes!! Super grateful, as I just moved from Detroit!

The mole was rich, thick, sweet, with a good amount of spice - personally would have preferred it a little less sweet and a little more spicy, but that's just my personal preference for mole. It was still very tasty! The concha french toast though? SHOW. STOPPER. I could go back once a week to eat that and never tire of it. The cafe de olla is delicious as well, and pairs great with both the savory and sweet breakfast options. Please give this place your love- sometimes viral restaurants ARE actually authentically good, and this place commits to Mexican cuisine in a way by abuela would be proud of.“

“I really love this place! The food is just delectable and yummy! I recommend the combo appetizer plate and the combo meat plate for two people to share. It will allow you to sample everything and still be content. I wish one thing they did differently was double the pita bread serving for the appetizer plate. That’s the only con. Instead of pre-made salad, they have a build-your-own station where you can customize the salad to your liking (which I prefer). Definitely satisfied with my salad. “We’ve always been thin crust pizza fans, have never tasted authentic NY style pizza, though we have had Napoli-style pizza several times in Rome, and we gotta say, the crust here is AMAZING!! The only slight change that I think would make it taste even better is if there was a bit more salt in the dough. Other than that, the bottom of the pizza was crisp, and the crust was airy and crisp with a slight chew. The crust was so delicious that we saved all our uneaten crusts to bring home for later, could not bear to throw them away (unlike other, more bready crusts). 😆 The pepperoni pizza was our favorite (so flavorful), with the sausage being a close second. The margherita was nice with the fresh basil, but could have used a sprinkling of salt. Our younger son really wanted to try the corn pizza, but we could only manage to finish 3 pizzas with our family of 7, so he has already declared that this will be his pick for his birthday meal, and that he will be getting the corn pizza. 😆 Wish it were closer to us (we live around 30 mins away), but it is not too far for special occasions! From where we live, comparatively, Mountain Mike’s and Porky’s Pizza Palace would be rated 2 or 3 out of 10 and Spinning Dough would be 9/10! Would totally buy it frozen if they offered that, it is that good! Was also a treat for the kids to watch the owner (who is super, super nice!) toss the dough and assemble the pizzas. “We ordered the Kapow Gai pizza and the Tom Yum wings. Both were delicious. The regular crust pizza is on thinner side but the bottom stays dry and maintains integrity with every bite. The wings were meaty and flavorful. Definitely plan to order some of the traditional Lao cuisine they offer.“

“Great bagels, friendly, line moves quickly. They're not kidding when they say they sell out within a couple hours of opening. I arrived around an hour after opening and the everything bagels were sold out. I will absolutely return, and I have to wake up earlier next time!“

Garlic Bread ($7.95) - Small pieces but garlicy. It was so crunchy that everyone turned around when I took a bite.

Caesar Salad ($11.95) - Nothing special. Chicken was dry.“

“I rarely order takeout, but today I was feeling so sick, with a cough and my bronchitis flaring up, and I really needed something warm and comforting. I found this place — Tikal Restaurante y Panaderia — and it felt like a blessing from God. The food here is simple, but it’s made with so much love and care that it feels like it was made by my mom or grandma.

I ordered the Sopa de Res and the Tamales de Pollo, and both dishes were absolutely perfect. The soup was flavorful, hearty, and exactly what I needed to feel better — like a homemade cure. The tamale was soft and delicious, so comforting.
