“Today 5/9/24 I had a really bad experience at this location. One crazy customer came was rude to Ladies she bought a sandwich and 1 hour later she came and told cashier she wanted her money back that her sandwich wasn’t good but she finished the sandwich and ask her for refund. She was mean and rude to the ladies. Please be kind and respectful with people who serve you. She used bad words to the ladies. ?“

“I have been to many branches of Subway and I am really impressed by this branch. It’s small but clean and the interior environment is nice too. Their staff looked like they enjoyed their work of serving customers. Paying attention to customers is very important and I give them high credit for that. Cheers!“

“Stopped by for an afternoon sandwich. This is a nice little shop with sandwiches and Vietnamese food.
The people behind the counter are really friendly and helpful. I ended up ordering a #7 pork sandwich. It was really good. What impressed me the most and stood out was the fresh vegetables in the sandwich. They were crisp and refreshing with every bite. I really enjoyed this sandwich!

“Defrankos was our first stop on our 12 day vacation from Canada. We got off the flyaway and walked down a few blocks with all of our luggage in tow. The staff were incredibly friendly, they gave us such a warm welcome to California… but beyond that the food was AMAZING. We are currently sitting at the airport going over our trip and all 3 of us agreed the very best food we had on this trip were our 3 subs from Defrankos. ❤️

“Love the extra toppings on the subs. Family got the cold cut and pastrami. The smalls were plenty big for everyone. Wish more places put that much pickles /tomatoes etc on theirs!

Very busy the whole time we were there. But they were fast and friendly. Prepare for cash only ( no higher then 20's).

They could put a little effort into upgrading the seating area. A relative says it's looked like that since he was a kid about 40yes ago.

I’ve never had an unpleasant experience (this place might have given me food poisoning before but it’s unlikely, because my whole family had these sandwiches and had no effect, but that only happened once) if you are looking for a good Italian, check out this place. “First time here yesterday and happy to keep coming back, had the hot pastrami sub and it was seriously good loved the mayo mustard combo with chopped tomato onion and pickles combined and layered generously over the whole sub Also had the Tonys special sub .. lots of fresh and tasty deli meats mortadella hams salamis and again the in-house mustard mayo combo .. awesome sandwich For a side I had the bow tie pasta which was cooked al dente with plenty of the marinated artichoke hearts and a great authentic Italian feel and flavour As this had now developed into leftovers for dinner given the size of it all I took us home a tiramisu for dessert later, and as with everything else well worth the eating Opened in 1979 and still going strong .. it’s easy to see why“

“Paulie’s is really good food. I drive by here for work all the time and have never been disappointed. Note: definitely not a budget eatery, but quality is good. One thing I love is that they seem to pay attention to the little details. They have great cold cuts, huge cookies, and even their own drinks.

“The fries are amazing!!!! One of the best I’ve ever had. The burgers are pretty good too, just a little behind In N Out burgers. You can order food inside on digital screens or you can order from an employee. A bit pricey but well worth it!“

“Daryl is a cheerful pick me up every time I stop by! He always has a huge smile, is exceptionally professional and so freaky fast! I’ve also heard him coaching and training others and I can tell he’s an amazing leader. I come by this location at least once a month and always have a great experience.

Parking: There’s street parking all around the intersection, just depends how much you need to walk. Service is usually quick enough that I can put in a quarter for 15 minutes at the meter and I leave well before it runs out.“

“8/10 if i were to rate the meal.went to tony's deli for the first time today because my roommate and i were craving sandwiches.we got the same thing. prosciutto sandwich combo on Italian bread. came out to almost $19 for a 6" sandwich side (pasta salad, mac salad, potato salad) and a canned soda.the sandwich was good, i feel the bread was a hard and the fixings weren't evenly distributed so the middle was full but the ends were just bread and sauce.the service was fast and the employees are nice“

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Fat Sal's, and it was an unforgettable experience! I ordered the "Fat Jerry" sandwich, which is a glorious masterpiece packed with ribeye steak, chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, a fried egg, crisp bacon, grilled onions, melted American cheese, and fries. Each bite was a delightful explosion of flavors, and it truly lived up to the hype.

“I’ve been eating subs from My Hero since 1972! THE best subs I’ve eaten, ever. Moved through the years, and always went to My Hero’s when within 5 hours by car to where I was staying! The high quality of their food has never waivered! The buns are soft, yet chewy! The tomato salad in each sandwich is always fresh! Plus they give a generous portion of the protein! My favorite has always been pastrami! Lean and tasty, everytime! The staff is welcoming and genuinely happy you are there! I’ll be going in a week as I pass through the area! The owner caters to customers treating them as friends & neighbors; as we all are. I would stop off my way to eat here. The parking is tight although there is underground parking on Verdugo (this location is on Glen oaks & Verdugo). I recommend the tuna or meatball sandwich or steak salad. They also have sides & sweets. I'm sure the menu is like any other Subway although the quality all-around is above & beyond.

Hubby had a wrap, the elite it's new, I had the Italian herb and cheese foot long bread, and chose #8 garlic with olive oil, honey mastard and garlic oile my veggies, our lil one had kids meal, that was a good deal 6 inch sub, snack, cookie and juice. For the most part, it was tasty. However, too much SALT got from the grilled chicken, not to sure if the bread herb and cheese would have contributed and hubby said same thing SALT, thankfully the veggies helped and I am glad I didn't take the bacon. Subway take that into consideration, wherever you all source your rotisserie chicken from. Imagine eating this daily that sodium, can be a problem, for one, send up a person blood pressure, so be mindful when ordering. Our meal cost altogether $37.15 and he filled it up which was great. The large menu offers everything from breakfast to subs, hamburgers and sandwiches, to various plates, including Korean dishes like bulgogi (a marinaded beef dish). I highly recommend the pepper steak...a good portion of beef with lots of peppers, a bit of mayo, and cheese. The rolls are nicely toasted, adding to the overall flavor. The owner is very polite and nice, and prices here are inexpensive to moderate.

“One of the last gems for a Quiznos. Clean restaurant for sure. They may have only one or two servers there but they take the time for each and every order, I witnessed it while waiting and then dining in. Everything always tastes so fresh. I’ve tried a bunch of sandwiches so but the chicken honey mustard and their limited time options are always fantastical. Bread is always fresh the jalapeño cheddar is great! They have deals of the day too and customizable toppings of course. They have front row parking too specifically for their restaurant. Common sandwich pricing. Apple Pay I know they take not sure of other methods. They can get busy, be patient they’re worth it. Glad this place still exists!!“

“Luis made the perfect giant sandwich for me and my sister! The Giant sub was about $19.00 and a normal (half the size), costs about $11.00. Luis and Josh both had wonderful customer service to all ages and types of customers that walked through the door. They were very patient, smiling, and kind. This location is a little small, but still has places to sit and eat. The sub tasted great!

“Fantastic Bánh mì - pork and pâté Just $4.75. The baguette was perfect. Crusty outside soft in the middle. The vegetables on the sandwich were so fresh and crunchy. Mayo is included on the sandwich, but there was so little I hardly noticed. This sandwich did not need anything else. I’m going back to try the rest of them. 9-10 varieties Bánh mì. 10 inch roll. I ate half in the Am and half at lunch. Again, just $4.75!“
