“I don’t understand bad reviews about this place. 1001 Nights is absolutely wonderful! The food is incredibly delicious – every dish is full of rich flavors and beautifully presented, making it a true feast for both the eyes and the taste buds. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. One of the highlights of the evening was the stunning belly dance performance by a beautiful and graceful lady – she added so much charm and energy to the night. If you’re looking for great food, amazing presentation, and unforgettable entertainment, this is definitely the place to go!“

“Hidden gem. It's inside a grocery store by the dips and meat pies section. Delicious meals that fill you up without breaking the bank. Sit at the outdoor dining area and see how many white Teslas you can count in a row as they drive down El Camino. My record is seven Teslas.“

“Wonderful Sunday lunch last week. The fried cauliflower florets starter was great. Nicely fried, not greasy with a good thick pesto labane sauce. We loved the muhamarra with the fried pita strips. Had some the next day and it was still fantastic. The chicken pita sandwich was good. My chickpea salad was tasty, but I wasn’t expecting the chickpeas to be so firm. The chocolate babka was great, not too sweet. The staff was attentive and the service was prompt. Nice atmosphere too, casual and welcoming.“

“I and two friends dined at Chelokababi Restaurant on Saturday evening, December 17, 2022. It was our first experience at this beautiful and comfortable establishment, and we were impressed with the food and service. I and one friend had Geymeh Bademjoon, which was delicious and very satisfying. My other friend had Shish Kabob with salad, and he said he enjoyed it. I would dine here regularly if I didn't live in Seattle!“

“Been coming here since they opened. Lemon slices with water is awesome but I do have one complaint is the recent change to their chicken sumac recipe changed and my kids can’t eat the new saltier and spiced up recipe. Even the chicken shawarma is kind of spicy now and unable to feed to children. I hope you can fix this.“

“When it comes to Mediterranean food, Falafel Tazah truly stands out. I've been a loyal customer at all of their locations for over ten years, and I can honestly say I've never had a bad meal. Their chicken and veggie kabobs are my go-to favorites, and their falafels, hands down the best I've ever had. Their food certainly lives up to the name with that unmistakable fresh taste every single time.
The restaurant is always spotless and impeccably maintained, which adds to the whole experience. The owner is genuinely one of the friendliest people you'll meet and goes out of his way to make sure every customer leaves happy.
Keep up the amazing work, Team Falafel Tazah!“

“This is a takeout only place and their falafels are VERY GOOD! The fries and hummus were just okay. I ordered Heaven's Pita Pocket and it was HEAVENLY, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐! So savory for a vegetarian dish. Great texture that melded well with the sauces in this Pita Pocket. The Home Made Fries were okay and the Hummus was okay, maybe ⭐⭐⭐. I'd recommend coming for the Falafels and will be returning just for that!“

“This place is great! Feels like authentic Israeli street food. The prices are very reasonable with good portion sizes. The food tastes so fresh and really delicious. We had the shawarma hummus plate, shnitzel pita, falafel, and fries. All were delicious and I'd recommend! The best of the bunch of definitely the shnitzel pita.
The only down side is it's all semi-outdoor picnic seating, however they have heaters up so it's not too cold to sit and enjoy your meal.“

“Maiwand Village is a great spot if you're looking to explore authentic Afghan cuisine. The atmosphere strikes a nice balance between casual and inviting, making it a suitable place for both family dinners and casual outings with friends.
The kabob menu are definitely the highlight. The Chicken Kabob and Tikka Kabob are not only flavorful but also cooked to perfection, and the fact that they serve them with rice, salata, and naan adds a nice touch. It feels like a complete meal that respects traditional Afghan dining.
I also appreciate the variety—having options like the Qabili Palau and the Trout Fish gives diners a chance to try different flavors. The prices are reasonable, making it accessible for a wider audience.
The staff is usually friendly and attentive, which enhances the dining experience. Overall, Maiwand Village seems to capture the essence of Afghan hospitality and cuisine well, making it a worthwhile choice. Kids friendly environment.“
